Wordless Wednesday

WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.

For all the rule breakers, of which I am one, please feel free to add all the words you want.

Make sure you leave a link to your post and Iโ€™ll visit your Wordless Wednesday post.

The Sea

The sea covers more than 70% of Earth’s surface, yet much of it remains a mystery. From the deepest trenches to the shallowest reefs, the ocean is full of fascinating facts.

  • The Pacific Ocean is the largest and deepest ocean, covering more than 63 million square miles and reaching depths of over 36,000 feet in the Mariana Trench.
  • The Great Barrier Reef, located off the coast of Australia, is the largest coral reef system in the world, stretching over 1,400 miles.
  • More than 80% of the ocean remains unexplored and unmapped, making it one of the last frontiers on Earth. Source: Facts.Net

The water is the perfect subject for me. Outside, in the world and inside, in our bodies.
I love the sea and you gave me a new idea for checking again the subject!
Thank you, dear Sandee! Happy WW! Hugs and love!โค๏ธ๐Ÿ˜˜

We boated for over 20 years and enjoyed lots of wonderful cruises. Happy day and rest of the week, Chica. Thanks for playing along. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Alana says:

Amazing that we know so little about most of the one planet we live on. I was born near the Atlantic Ocean but am miles from it now. Alana ramblinwitham

It’s huge. Hubby and I took a cruise to Hawaii. It left out of San Diego and we spent five days over and five days back. Lots of ocean. ๐Ÿ™‚

We’re going to San Diego next month, and this gives me even more to think about as I sit on the beach staring out at God’s beautiful creation called the sea.

    • Sandee says:

Me too. We spent so much time on our boat. We’ve not been near the water since we sold our boats. Happy day and rest of the week. ๐Ÿ™‚

Interesting facts about the sea! It is such a mystery, and I agree with what My GBGV Life said.

Thanks for hosting Wordless Wednesday, Sandee. Have a lovely day!๐ŸŒน

  5. Suzette Benjamin says:

Wow, I did not know that most of the ocean was unexplored. Water is a great mystery in my book, so this makes total sense. We depend on the oceans for sustenance, and yet its depths are beyond our reach. That is amazing. Thank you for this insight, Sandee.

A wonderful Wordless Wednesday to you, dear friend. Peace, love, and hugs to you.

  6. Pat says:

I always enjoy your facts, Sandee. I can only imagine the mysrterios waiting to be discivered in the unexplored parts of the sea!

Hi, Sandee. I’m at 53. Thank you for entertaining us all.
There is a Wordless Linkup at Life Captured. The name of it, My Sunday Snapshot. You are invited as well as your guests here. Looking forward to seeing you!

Some day, by hook or crook, I will get back to the ocean. ~sigh~ It’s neat that you appreciate super sauce tomatoes. My husband discovered the type just last spring and that one tomato tasted amazing. I’m excited to get more. Be well, my dear.

  9. ghostmmnc says:

I’ve only been to a couple of beaches and they are so pretty with the vast area of water. Neat facts you found, too. I think instead of going to space, they should do more exploring of the oceans. Hope you are having a great day <3

  10. Peabea says:

To live by the Ocean or Sea would be nice; especially if there are beaches nearby. I’m in pretty much central Ohio with not much water nearby at all. Maybe a few fishing ponds/rivers. Looks lovely
