WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.
For all the rule breakers, of which I am one, please feel free to add all the words you want.
Make sure you leave a link to your post and Iโll visit your Wordless Wednesday post.
The Sea
The sea covers more than 70% of Earth’s surface, yet much of it remains a mystery. From the deepest trenches to the shallowest reefs, the ocean is full of fascinating facts.
- The Pacific Ocean is the largest and deepest ocean, covering more than 63 million square miles and reaching depths of over 36,000 feet in the Mariana Trench.
- The Great Barrier Reef, located off the coast of Australia, is the largest coral reef system in the world, stretching over 1,400 miles.
- More than 80% of the ocean remains unexplored and unmapped, making it one of the last frontiers on Earth. Source: Facts.Net

The water is the perfect subject for me. Outside, in the world and inside, in our bodies.
I love the sea and you gave me a new idea for checking again the subject!
Thank you, dear Sandee! Happy WW! Hugs and love!โค๏ธ๐
I love the sea, too. Happy Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week. Love and hugs, Suzana. ๐
๐๐
Double love is a good thing. Happy Wednesday and rest of the week. ๐
I could sit on that beach and watch the water all day long. It’s so beautiful!
I agree with you. It’s beautiful and most relaxing. ๐
LOVE your info. Perhaps Elon Musk should think about relocating us all to the sea instead of on Mars, haha. Could we find a condo on warm water, please?
Elon is a brilliant man who is doing what he wants to do. There are others than can explore the sea. Happy rest of the week. ๐
Interesting facts. I could sit on a beach and watch the waves all day
Me too, Ann. I’ve done that very thing many times. Most wonderful. ๐
Lindo mar que adoiro tanto e gostaria de morar perto dele! beijos, รณtimo dia! chica
We boated for over 20 years and enjoyed lots of wonderful cruises. Happy day and rest of the week, Chica. Thanks for playing along. ๐
Truly amazing , Glad to know.
Thanks a lot for hosting.
You’re most welcome for the hosting. Happy day and rest of the week. ๐
So interesting. We know more about the surface of Mars than we do about our own oceans. ๐คฃ๐๐
You’re right about that. Makes one wonder. Happy day and rest of the week. ๐
That’s amazing, Sandee and now we understand why we have a lot of water inside of us too, as we’re all ONE๐ธAlways love your surpurrizing facts๐Double Pawkisses for a Happy Day and Week ahead to you, Zane and your wonderful kitties too๐พ๐ฝ๐
Happy Gotcha Day, Faye. Double Pawkisses to you both and a big hug to Granny. ๐
Which makes us think it might be important to learn more about earth before we worry so much about outer space!
I think so too. Both are important. Scritches to the precious pups. ๐
Amazing that we know so little about most of the one planet we live on. I was born near the Atlantic Ocean but am miles from it now. Alana ramblinwitham
I have never seen the Pacific in person. Thanks for hosting. Have a great day. XO
It’s huge. Hubby and I took a cruise to Hawaii. It left out of San Diego and we spent five days over and five days back. Lots of ocean. ๐
We’re going to San Diego next month, and this gives me even more to think about as I sit on the beach staring out at God’s beautiful creation called the sea.
I lived in San Diego many moons ago. Lots of great beaches to enjoy. ๐
I sure miss having beach time!
Me too. We spent so much time on our boat. We’ve not been near the water since we sold our boats. Happy day and rest of the week. ๐
There must be a lot more to learn about the sea and its animals.
Much, much more. I’m sure it will happen at some point. ๐
Mom sees the beach all the time from her car!
It’s a good sight to see. Happy day and rest of the week. Scritches to the kitties. ๐
There’s nothing else like sitting and staring out at the endless sea.
I’ve done that so many times, both on land and at sea. Happy day and rest of the week. ๐
My happy place for sure!
Mine too. Happy Wordless Wednesday. ๐
Interesting facts about the sea! It is such a mystery, and I agree with what My GBGV Life said.
Thanks for hosting Wordless Wednesday, Sandee. Have a lovely day!๐น
I hear you about worrying about the earth more. Happy Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week, Debbie. ๐
Very interesting!
Thank you for hosting WW!
Love and hugs, my sweet friend. xoxo

You and me both, Carol. Love and hugs to you and Ziggy. ๐
The ocean holds endless secrets, and thereโs still so much to discover about its creatures and wonders beneath the waves.
Happy Wednesday, Sandee!
It sure does have endless secrets. Have a fabulous day and rest of the week. Hugs, Veronica.
Wow, I did not know that most of the ocean was unexplored. Water is a great mystery in my book, so this makes total sense. We depend on the oceans for sustenance, and yet its depths are beyond our reach. That is amazing. Thank you for this insight, Sandee.
A wonderful Wordless Wednesday to you, dear friend. Peace, love, and hugs to you.
I thought it was amazing too. Happy Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week, Suzette. Love and hugs, my friend. ๐
Thank you, Sandee!
I always enjoy your facts, Sandee. I can only imagine the mysrterios waiting to be discivered in the unexplored parts of the sea!
I’m happy you enjoy my Wednesday factoids. Happy day and rest of the week, Pat. ๐

Good morning, Esme. Thank you for all you do. I always visit you each Wednesday. Happy day and rest of the week. ๐
Even though I don’t see the sea every day, I enjoy it when I do, and like knowing that it’s close by.
Me too. I’ve spent many days in the San Francisco Bay. Happy Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week. ๐
happy Wednesday, Sandee.
Happy Wednesday, Klara. Thanks for playing along. ๐

Some day, by hook or crook, I will get back to the ocean. ~sigh~ It’s neat that you appreciate super sauce tomatoes. My husband discovered the type just last spring and that one tomato tasted amazing. I’m excited to get more. Be well, my dear.
The ocean is magical. Those tomatoes are the very best. Hugs, my friend. ๐
I was told to “Join the Navy and See the World!”
I saw a lot of ocean. So, I guess the recruiter didn’t lie to me.
Interesting facts. I love ocean pictures. Happy Wednesday!
Hubby and I spent many weeks enjoying the coast. Happy day and rest of the week, Yvonne. ๐
Oceans are amazing, aren’t they? You and Mr. Zane have a blessed week and give those kitties some scritches from me, please.
They are most amazing. You and Mr. Sweetie have a blessed rest of the week. Love and hugs to you. ๐
We love sitting on the beach. The sound of the waves and the in and out of the tide are so mesmerizing. Happy Wednesday, Sandee!
I agree. Hubby and I spent many weeks sitting on the beach. โฑ๏ธ
I’m missing summer already!
We’re in a heatwave and I hate them. Happy day and rest of the week, Lydia. ๐
I love the sea! It’s mesmerizing and soothing. Hugs!
That makes two of us. Happy day and rest of the week, my friend. Love and hugs. ๐
What a lovely picture. I can’t imagine living without the beach on my doorstep!
It’s about and hour and fifteen minutes from us and we’ve enjoyed it by land and by boat. Happy day and rest of the week. ๐
Loved your stats about thew sea, dear Sandee. It’s an amazing place full of mystery and wondrous creatures in it.
It sure is. Happy day and rest of the week, my friend. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to handsome Wilson. ๐
I’ve only been to a couple of beaches and they are so pretty with the vast area of water. Neat facts you found, too. I think instead of going to space, they should do more exploring of the oceans. Hope you are having a great day <3
I think they should explore both. Happy day and rest of the week. ๐
I like our CA rugged shores and look into the ocean from a high point. Thanks so much for hosting!
-Soma
I do, too. You’re welcome for the hosting. Happy day and rest of the week. ๐
To live by the Ocean or Sea would be nice; especially if there are beaches nearby. I’m in pretty much central Ohio with not much water nearby at all. Maybe a few fishing ponds/rivers. Looks lovely
The ocean is most welcome. It gives me such serenity. Happy day and weekend. ๐
