I’m thankful for my husband who I share my life with. Our history goes way back to the early 70s. We were each married to different people. Our journey to where we are now is a long and very precious memory.
I’m thankful that I’ve had the pleasure of spending another year on this beautiful planet. We’ve had a fun year filled with lots of boating and yacht club events.
I’m thankful that tomorrow we open the gift of a brand new year and all the positive things we can do with that gift. I chose to do happy things.
I’m thankful for my great granddaughter. She makes me realize how long I’ve enjoyed life.
I’m thankful for my health. I know at some point there will be issues, but for now I feel fabulous.
What are you thankful for today?

Here's to everyone filling their New Year up with happy times.
That would be me. We're staying home and enjoying each others company. That's the way we like to ring in the new year. 🙂
Hi Sandee, this is a beautiful post fill with thankfulness. I am also thankful for everything, ups and downs because all things happen for a reason. Continue to trust and have faith in God. Happy New Year!
There are always ups and downs, but it's our approach that counts. Happy new year my friend. 🙂
We sure wish you a fun New Years Eve and a very Happy and Healthy New Year. We are always thankful for good health. And we are thankful for all our friends. Sandee, you and Zane have a wonderful day and New years Eve.
We'll be sleeping when midnight rolls around, but it's all good. We sure won't have a hangover tomorrow morning either. 🙂
Today i am just glad to be standing. A blessed and beautiful Happy New Year to you and yours!
I'm glad to be standing too my friend. May this coming year bring you much happiness, health and most of all prosperity. You need that right now. 🙂
As always, the things I value most cannot be bought and I value them the most; my family, my friends and my health.
And when I think of being grateful, I usually remember this piece….
“If you can read this message…” Had a long, hard day? Here’s some perspective.
“If you have food in your fridge, clothes on your back, a roof over your head and a place to sleep you are richer than 75% of the world.
If you have money in the bank, your wallet, and some spare change you are among the top 8% of the world’s wealthy.
If you woke up this morning with more health than illness you are more blessed than the million people who will not survive this week.
If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the agony of imprisonment or torture, or the horrible pangs of starvation you are luckier than 500 million people alive and suffering.
If you can read this message you are more fortunate than 3 billion people in the world who cannot read it at all.”
Happy Sweet 2016!, my friend. big hugs xoxo
Perfect Barb. This is more than excellent.
Happy new year my precious friend. 🙂
" Happy New Year " my wonderful friend. I'm thankful for everything that I have everyday and health, is the most. Enjoy your New Years Eve. Give Zane a big KISS for all of us. See ya.

Our health is so very important. We mostly take that for granted when we're young. We don't when we get older. Happy New Year my friend. 🙂
All great things to be grateful for. Happy New Year! I hope it shapes up to be a great one 🙂
I do too Jennifer. I'm sure it will be a great year. I thought 2015 was pretty good. Some rough spots, like losing our beloved Little Bit, but so many good things too. 🙂
I'm thankful that I just got new bird seed. Parrots live a long time but aren't long term thinkers.
But I love you Kismet. Bird seed is a good thing to have. Happy new year to you and your peeps. 🙂
Great things to be thankful for, Sandee. I wish you and yours a very healthy, joyous, peaceful and prosperous New Year! I love your background! 🙂
I wish you all those things too Linda. See you next year. 🙂

I am thankful for a lot of things but today I'm thankful FedEx is delivering my new area rug today. (It doesn't take much to make me happy.)
It doesn't take much to make me happy either. I get that. Enjoy your new rug and happy new year. 🙂
How sweet that you and your husband share such a long history. I'm always fascinated by stories of couples who married later in life after knowing each other a long time!
I should post about it someday. It's a long story, but a nice one. I love a happy ending. 🙂
I am looking forward to the New Year 2016. I am thankful for my Hubs and family. Happy New Year Sandee.
I hope you have the best year every Pam. I think of you often. Happy New Year. 🙂

Thank you and the same to you. 🙂
I was reminded when I woke up feeling puny with a head cold this morning that my situation is very minor in the scheme of things. I am grateful for good health, good family, friends, and freedom.
Happy and healthy 2016 to you and Zane.
Big hugs, honey…
I agree that a head cold isn't much in the scheme of things. Get well soon honey and have a happy and healthy 2016. 🙂
