It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
I’m thankful for the beginning of soup season. When it’s chilly we love to make a big pot of soup. It’s such wonderful comfort food. Our first soup this fall was creamy potato soup. We always make some delicious garlic bread too. They go together wonderfully.

I love soup too. And I also love garlic bread.
Wish I could invite you over for soup and garlic bread. 🙂
I think that’s the best part about this time of year, the soup. Last week I made a big pot of chicken gnocchi soup. Best part is that I can freeze some.
Yes soup can be frozen for another meal down the road. Love our soup. 🙂
Potato Soup is the bestiest. 🙂 Have a soup-er Thursday! 🙂 LOL, Stevebethere would be so proud of me. 🙂
I know Steve is proud of you. Steve is a wonderful friend and has been for many years. 🙂
That sounds amazing. Now that Mom is eating a plant based diet, those items are off the table, but there are still soups she makes and enjoys eating.
I’ve not a tried plant based diet. Sounds most healthy. 🙂
We love soups too and have already made a pot of bean and keilbasa soup. We need to check out your recipes. They all sound delicious!
We add or take away from the recipes. So good. Smooches Miss Molly. 🙂
I love soups in Winter too. And of course garlic bread is great too. Enjoy the rest of the week Sandee 🙂
Such great soups there are. We’re making taco soup next. Yummy. Have a great rest of the week, Sami. 🙂
I love soups too. My favourites that I make are sweet potato and parsnip, broccoli and blue cheese and porcini mushroom. Yum!!
Sounds so good. Soup soothes the soul. 🙂
We love soup too. Right now we are working on some turkey noodle. XO
There are so many different soups to fix and enjoy. They warm the tummy on cold days. 🙂
I also make soups all during the cooler weather. Right now I have a large tupperware bowl full of butternut squash/apple soup in the fridge. Your potato soup looks delicious and you’ve inspired me!
We love our soup and enjoy working together to make the soup. It’s a wonderful time to spend with each other too. 🙂
Oh, your butternut squash/apple soup sounds heavenly! Would you mind sharing your recipe?
I’m sure she will. ♥
It sure is getting soup season. I’d love some potato soup, too!
Wishing you a lovely Thursday! <3
It was so good too. Have a great Thursday, Barbara. 🙂
I am drooling on my key board.
Hugs Cecilia
We love our soup here. Big hugs, my friend. 🙂
Soup sounds wonderful! My all-time favorite is homemade chicken noodle soup, but when I don’t have the inclination to make it myself, I run up to my local Panera Bread and eat it there.
I need to make a pot of that. Delicious. 🙂
Oh sounds and looks yummy ~ love soups ~ Xo
Lots of hugs and love to you from me and Ziggy,
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

We enjoy planning what soup, shopping for the ingredients and then putting the soup together. Love and hugs to you and Ziggy. 🙂
Certainly have stepped up our hot tea consumption around here, and Sweetie loves her heated beddy.
It’s a welcomed relief from all the heat of summer for sure. 🙂
Soup and garlic bread – such a delicious combination. 🙂 It seems that soup season has come early. At this time of year, I am thankful for a furnace in good working order. Happy Thursday, Sandee!
Same here, Debbie. I’m thankful for our furnace too. Happy rest of the week. 🙂
Cold weather is perfect for a bowl of soup and the garlic bread makes it even better. Happy Thursday.
It sure works for us. It’s fun to make together and so warm in our tummies when it’s cold outside. 🙂
oh yum yum! I love soup! Thanks for the recipes! xoxoxo
We really love soup here. As soon as it gets cold we’re thinking about soup. 🙂
I love your new blog! You are so talented- I’m thankful for my friends, family, and the many people who bring laughter and joy to to others, but most of all for love. Your soups look so great I want to jump inside your blog and grab a bowl. In south Louisiana it’s Gumbo time.
Everyone down here speaks a different languages, which are mixed together, we can barely understand each other, but, with the exception of the word “Gumbo.,” ,Again, I love your blog!
“Love and Hugs”
Ann
Great to see you, Ann. I’ve missed you so. I hope you remain on the scene for a bit. Happy day and rest of the week. Love and hugs back. 🙂
Potato soup and broccoli cheese soup or my two favorites. Alas I can eat neither one because of the dairy that’s in them. I may try taking a pill and trying a little potato soup or maybe find a way to make it without adding Dairy
I love broccoli cheese soup too. Yummy. 🙂
Those do look delicious! Soup Season will be different since the Dad can’t have creamy or dairy, but he can dream about it. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
That’s what makes soups so good. Lots of heavy cream and cheese. Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. 🙂
i am a soup snob.. there are very few that make a meal. potato leek is one!
We can make a meal of soup anytime. Delicious. You’re not a snob at all, Paul. 🙂
Your soups do sound delightful.
We’re just looking forward to some cooler weather soon.
They are so good and we enjoy soup season. 🙂
I’m just beginning to enjoy (some) soup. Yours certainly sound good. Perhaps I’ll look for recipes for those.
We love our soup. So delicious. 🙂
, Sandee, these soups sound yummy. We are supposed to have some chilly weather this weekend. Bring on the soups. I am thankful for a hubby who can cook. Perfect while my back is out. Have a blessed night.🤗
Hubby does most of the cooking here. I’m in charge of cleanup. Happy weekend. 🙂
That looks so good
It was delicious, Ruby Rose. 🙂
I just made a big pot of Taco Soup…I also just love soup season!!
Taco soup is so good, but we just have french bread with that soup. Garlic doesn’t quit work for us. 🙂
Perfect pair! 💔 Mmmm… xo
We love our soup and our garlic bread. 🙂
Those soups sound so good. Now I’m hungry for soup 🙂
We love our soup. Happy weekend. 🙂
There’s an idea. Sunflower seed soup.
I’m sure you’d love it. I love you, Kismet. 🙂

Garlic bread with any kind of soup sounds like a meal from heaven. Yummmmm!
We think so and we love our soup and garlic bread. )
I love a nice bowl of potato soup or broccoli cheese soup. Those are my go to’s aside from the tradition of Gumbo!
I need to make broccoli cheese soup. Love that soup too. 🙂
I look forward to Soup Season all year! I’ve already made my first pot of chicken noodle soup. My list includes, vegetable beef, ham and bean, potato, chili and chicken corn chowder. Rinse and Repeat!! 💜
We’re planning our second pot. I think perhaps taco soup. 🙂
