Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

I’m thankful for the beginning of soup season. When it’s chilly we love to make a big pot of soup. It’s such wonderful comfort food. Our first soup this fall was creamy potato soup. We always make some delicious garlic bread too. They go together wonderfully.

We’re looking forward to making Clam Chowder, Cheeseburger Chowder, Taco Soup, Potato Soup and Lasagna Soup. We love this time of year.

I love soups too. My favourites that I make are sweet potato and parsnip, broccoli and blue cheese and porcini mushroom. Yum!!

I also make soups all during the cooler weather. Right now I have a large tupperware bowl full of butternut squash/apple soup in the fridge. Your potato soup looks delicious and you’ve inspired me!

Soup sounds wonderful! My all-time favorite is homemade chicken noodle soup, but when I don’t have the inclination to make it myself, I run up to my local Panera Bread and eat it there.

Soup and garlic bread – such a delicious combination. 🙂 It seems that soup season has come early. At this time of year, I am thankful for a furnace in good working order. Happy Thursday, Sandee!

I love your new blog! You are so talented- I’m thankful for my friends, family, and the many people who bring laughter and joy to to others, but most of all for love. Your soups look so great I want to jump inside your blog and grab a bowl. In south Louisiana it’s Gumbo time.

Everyone down here speaks a different languages, which are mixed together, we can barely understand each other, but, with the exception of the word “Gumbo.,” ,Again, I love your blog!

Great to see you, Ann. I’ve missed you so. I hope you remain on the scene for a bit. Happy day and rest of the week. Love and hugs back. 🙂

Potato soup and broccoli cheese soup or my two favorites. Alas I can eat neither one because of the dairy that’s in them. I may try taking a pill and trying a little potato soup or maybe find a way to make it without adding Dairy

  8. Brian says:

Those do look delicious! Soup Season will be different since the Dad can’t have creamy or dairy, but he can dream about it. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
