We traveled to Urology this morning and the exam ended up as we expected. Surgery to remove tissue from the overgrown prostate and allow urine flow is the treatment plan. I am still on a Foly catheter and expect to be until surgery.
We are now waiting on insurance approval and the various steps to get to the operating suite. The procedure includes an overnight hospital stay. This sounds like a fairly frequent problem and resolution.
