Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

We’re thankful for the wonderful trip we took to meet up with friends in Rio Vista last month. We had a great time and enjoyed each others company and some great food. We were sitting on the dock when this small dinghy went by The Point Restaurant. The weather was warm. It was heaven.

While heading home on Sunday morning we ran into another small dinghy while getting ready to come out of Three Mile Slough onto the San Joaquin. Look how the weather had changed. It was chilly, but the cruise was delightful.

What are you thankful for today?

I am thankful for every good thing in my life (too numerous to count). I watched the videos and they do not look so small to me. 🙂 Have a wonderful Thankful Thrusday!

I have to say, I would like to see the size of the ship these two ‘dingys’ would fit on. LOL.. they are beautiful gliding along so smoothly.

I’m not looking forward to filling the boat with gas this year. We can take 110 gallons per side. A whopping 220 gallons. I’m guessing it will be around 8 bucks a gallon in most places. Bugger. I love you, Kismet. 🙂

I didn’t know a dinghy was a boat. That dinghy looks rather big to me but what do I know, I’m not a boat person! 😀 You did a great job capturing both events.

How fun! And that’s small? Wow. I would rather be out in the weather in the first picture, for sure. We’re supposed to get a snow storm here on Saturday, with the temperatures going up to 55 later in the same day. Crazy weather!
