It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
We’re thankful for the wonderful trip we took to meet up with friends in Rio Vista last month. We had a great time and enjoyed each others company and some great food. We were sitting on the dock when this small dinghy went by The Point Restaurant. The weather was warm. It was heaven.
While heading home on Sunday morning we ran into another small dinghy while getting ready to come out of Three Mile Slough onto the San Joaquin. Look how the weather had changed. It was chilly, but the cruise was delightful.

I am thankful for every good thing in my life (too numerous to count). I watched the videos and they do not look so small to me. 🙂 Have a wonderful Thankful Thrusday!
I hear you and it’s good to look at all the blessings around us. You have a wonderful Thankful Thursday too. 🙂
I watched the video and I was wondering where the dinghy was…lol That looked like a rather large boat to me.
I was being a smarty pants. I was calling those huge ships, dinghies. 🙂
I watched the videos again to see what I was missing on the dinghies. 😆 So thankful for your quick wit and sense of humor!
Yes it was my being a pill. Happy weekend. 🙂
And it was quite enjoyable! Enjoy your weekend as well.
Your videos were wonderful! We are thankful that we got only a dusting of snow yesterday and not inches of it.
We had such a great time. We’re planning our next cruise for April. We were going to go this month, but that didn’t work out. 🙂
Watching ships is always fun and we love hearing the horns.
It sure is. We enjoy seeing them and especially when we are tied up and don’t have to avoid them. 🙂
I have to say, I would like to see the size of the ship these two ‘dingys’ would fit on. LOL.. they are beautiful gliding along so smoothly.
They are huge and they are fun to see. They make our boat look so very small. 🙂
The dinghies do not look small to be. Glad that you enjoyed your sailing trip.
They are huge, Nancy. Huge and some of the waterways aren’t very big, but the manage to get through them. 🙂
It does look like it got chilly! How lovely though. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us 🙂
I did get chilly that Sunday morning. Nothing like the warm Friday and Saturday. 🙂
What a lovely visit you had with your friends. Thank you for sharing your adventures. Happy Thursday!
We’d not been on a cruise since last year in July. Way to long. 🙂
I am amazed at the blessing that is my life
Amen to that, Paul. I’m right there with you. 🙂
Sandee that was fun…I think if almost felt the wind in my hair. What a big ship too
I’m thankful to know someone who can share their sailing fun with me
Hugs cecilia
I wish we were closer and you and your hubby could go on a cruise with us. A nice lunch and a cruise. Hugs. 🙂
I love you my wonderful Lover.
I was a wonderful time with wonderful friends. Can we go more?
Your loving husband.

We did have a great time and the best part is we were together. Love you, my only. 🙂
Beautiful place ~ love to be there with those ‘little dinghys’ going by ~ So glad you had a wonderful time ~ Xo
Love and hugs to you from me and Angel ~
Wishing you lots of love and peace in your day ~

We sure did, Carol. I always refer to them as dinghies, but they are huge as you know. You live on the water. 🙂
I’m thankful for that boat which is bringing you a ton of money and will enable you to fill up your car these days.
I’m not looking forward to filling the boat with gas this year. We can take 110 gallons per side. A whopping 220 gallons. I’m guessing it will be around 8 bucks a gallon in most places. Bugger. I love you, Kismet. 🙂
Oh how I would LOVE to live by water!!!!
I would too, but it’s very pricey. We do enjoy being out on the water though. 🙂
Great videos. Glad you had a nice cruise. XO
We had a most wonderful cruise. Can’t wait to go somewhere else. 🙂
What a lovely day! Thanks for sharing it.
It was indeed. Chilly on Sunday, but the rest of the weekend was perfect. 🙂
Looks so peaceful to sit on the water watching boats go by!
Enjoy the rest of the day! <3
We were on the dock when that ship went by. It was most wonderful. You enjoy the rest of the day too, Barbara. 🙂
I thought a dinghy was a small boat, but those boats seem pretty big. Whatever…good to hear you had a good time with friends.
I was being a smarty pants, Patricia. Our boat is a dinghy compared to that ship. 🙂
Sandee,Thanks for taking me a ride in your boat.💋 💋 💋 💋 🌹 🌹 🌹🌹
You’re most welcome, Mike. Have a great rest of the day. 🙂
It sounds and looks like a wonderful trip!
It was a wonderful weekend, Yvonne. First of the year is always so special. 🙂
I didn’t know a dinghy was a boat. That dinghy looks rather big to me but what do I know, I’m not a boat person! 😀 You did a great job capturing both events.
I was being a smarty pants, Cathy. Our boat is a dingy compared to that ship. 🙂
Lovely, Sandee! Thanks for taking us along for a ride… 💞 I’m thankful for melting snow and a beautiful, sunny day! xo
You’re most welcome. We love our boat very much. Happy Thankful Thursday. 🙂
How fun! And that’s small? Wow. I would rather be out in the weather in the first picture, for sure. We’re supposed to get a snow storm here on Saturday, with the temperatures going up to 55 later in the same day. Crazy weather!
It’s not small, I was being a pill. They are huge. 🙂
Oh, thank you for clearing that up! LOL, LOL!
It makes me so happy to know you are getting to cruise again.
Thank you and it’s making us happy too, my friend. 🙂
I would be very thankful to go to such a lovely spot
We had a great time. 🙂
I momentarily missed the first ‘small dinghy’ because I was looking at the dock area. lol Wish I could take a cruise with you!
I wish you could take a cruise with us too.. We’d have a great time. 🙂
