Silly Sunday is the place to come for weekly laughs. The rules are simple, just have fun.
This is a great opportunity to get to know other bloggers and have a laugh or two in the process. Here is how it works: Laugh and Link Up!
Lord, give me coffee to change the things I can change and wine to accept the things I can’t.
People who wonder whether the glass is half empty or half full miss the point. The glass is refillable.
I’ve got salad for dinner. Actually fruit salad. Well, mostly grapes. Okay all grapes. Fermented grapes. Wine. I’ve got wine for dinner.
Sometimes when I reflect back on all the wine I drink I feel shame. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the vineyards and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn’t drink this wine, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, “It is better that I drink this wine and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver.” Jack Handy
I only drink a little, but when I do, I turn into another person, and that person drinks a lot.
Of course size matters. No one wants a small glass of wine.
Not to get technical, but according to chemistry alcohol is a solution.
Dear alcohol…We had a deal that you would make me prettier, funnier and a better dancer. I saw the video and we need to talk.
I don’t drink alcohol, I drink distilled spirits. So I’m not an alcoholic, I’m spiritual.

Have a sauvignontastic SSS :-f
I enjoy a good glass of wine now and then. 🙂
That first one, that got me. Have a blessed and beautiful Sunday!
You have a blessed and beautiful Sunday too. 🙂
Oh such good reasons to keep on drinking that yummy wine. Thanks Sandee. Sandee, you and Zane have a fantastic day and week ahead too.
I'd rather have a glass of champagne, but wine will do when there isn't any champagne. 🙂
The glass is definitely refillable no matter how empty it gets. hehehe
It sure is, Jan. 🙂
FUntastic justification for the spiritual drink…!
Have a great day!
Any excuse will do. 🙂
Omgosh.. Totally me with the "Dr. Alcohol!" Fortunately I have great friends who keep those videos and photos to themselves. 🙂
We don't drink much, but sometimes at yacht club functions some of have too much the first night. Then we behave after that. 🙂
so darn funny! Have a lovely day!~ BIG HUGS!
We enjoyed sharing wine with you and Russell. Yes indeed. 🙂
My wife and I regularly crack the fermented grapes joke (which is ironic since she doesn't drink and I stopped drinking a few years ago). Still, funny as hell.
We still do, but I'm guessing at some point we'll stop. 🙂
Table grapes are a waste.
Yes they are, Kismet. 🙂
Those are funny 🙂
I thought so too. 🙂
These are good ones. I will drink to them all! Cheers from rainy nawth jawjah, honey…
We've shared a few glasses together over the years. I'm happy about that. 🙂
Funny! I don't drink but these are funny. I, especially like the last one "I'm spiritual". lol Thanks for the giggles. Have a great week!
Not drinking isn't a bad thing, Cathy. 🙂
These are great, Sandee, and that third one had me laughing the hardest! I hope you had a great weekend and lovely time afloat! Warm hugs. 🙂
We did have a lovely time and the boat is ready for its cruise. All clean and everything in its place. 🙂
Sandee,I am glad that I don't drink and thank God cell phones were not around when I did. 🙂 :-f :-h d-)
I'm proud of you for not drinking too, Mike. 🙂
LOL, these are funny, especially that last one. Now I believe I need a glass of wine
I wish I could have a glass with you, Ann. 🙂
Hi Sandee, I do drink a little whenever there is an occasion to do so. But I don't drink too much or I will go all red!
None of us should drink much, but I so loved all these. 🙂
Those are all very logical statements.
I agree and if you're having a glass of wine they are even more logical. 🙂
Hi Sandee, there are definitely some very good reasons for not giving up the tipple.
I'm not giving up my wine until I have to. 🙂
These are great! Thanks for the laugh, and for visiting my humble blog so that I found this. Be well!
You're most welcome and thanks for visiting this humble blog. 🙂
