Friendly Fill-ins
Each Thursday Ellen of 15andmeowing and Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs, provide Friendly Fill-in questions.
Ellen came up with the first two questions and Lorianne came up with the last two questions.
If you need help, please let either Ellen or Lorianne know.
Here are this weeks questions:
1. I learned _________________the hard way.
2. Everyone should ___________ at least once in their lives.
3. Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about _________.
4. I’ll never be too old to _________.
Here are my answers:
1. I learned a multitude of things the hard way. I’ve made so many mistakes and some of them were worth repeating.
2. Everyone should do something they fear at least once in their lives. Sometimes you find the doing far easier than the weight of the fear.
3. Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about evil people. I feel sorry they are so lost.
4. I’ll never be to old to laugh at myself. There is so much material.

We’ve been thinking a lot about evil people too lately. Too many horrors going on in our world. Many humans not only inflict torture and terror on people but also on poor innocent animals. It has to stop!
Lovely feline photo x
Yes indeed, Marie. Lovies to Goddess Athena. 🙂
I want to join those two cats and curl up right there and go back to sleep.
I’m finding that the older I get the easier it is to laugh at myself. As a matter of fact, I do it quite often.
I’m guessing so since you’re working seven days in a row. Have a great weekend. 🙂
Awwwwwwwww – love these two friends sleeping together. I laugh at myself all the time☺
I think these two like each other. 🙂
Hi, Sandee! These cats remind me of our cats. They love each other💖🤗((Hugs))
I love it when they get along. Hugs. 🙂
They are so sweet snuggled up to each other. Good fill ins. My biggest fears are heights and confined spaces (elevators mostly) and I conquered both when I went to the top of the Empire State building.
I don’t like heights either, but it doesn’t stop me. Happy weekend. 🙂
Aww! how cute do they LQQK heheh! :-0
I liked all your replies Sandee 🙂
Have a safetastic FFS 😷😷😷
Thanks, Steve and thanks for being such a loyal follower of Feline Friday. Happy weekend. 🙂
If you do something you are afraid of, it gives you such a great sense of accomplishment. We think so many people are seriously lost and don’t really respect themselves or others. The world isn’t a very nice place anymore, sadly.
I agree with you on all counts. The world is not as nice as it could be. 🙂
Sleeping kitties so cute! Happy Friday and have a fantastic weekend!😊
You do the same, Eugenia. 🙂
Those were really good answers and those snuggle buds are so darn cute!
Thank you so much. You have a great day and weekend. 🙂
Meowser Ms. Sandee, I think you’re answers are purrfect!
Thank you for hosting this blog hop.
Purrseidon
Thank you my friend. I’m sure you read between the lines on one of them. 🙂
Such a sweet photo. I miss my ginger girl. Thanks for hosting Feline Friday and for participating in the fill-ins, I always enjoy your answers. I agree about laughing at oneself- I do that often. 🙂 Have a nice weekend! XO
Thanks for co-hosting the fun and participating in Feline Friday. You have a nice weekend too. 🙂
Hibernation time!
They do many hours of that every single day. 🙂
So cute these 2 sleeping kitties! I too want to curl up in bed and snooze like them.
Me too, Nancy. Cats have sleeping down. 🙂
Awww, best friends.
Excellent answers, and you’re right, if we can laugh at ourselves we will never run out of material.
I know that for sure. I’ve so much material. 🙂
Naww cuties, BFFs having a catnap.
Being able to laugh at oneself is a talent that’ll get you through anything. I’m so glad I learned this. I also agree that the weight of fear can often be far heavier and scarier than doing the thing you’re worried about too.
Happy Friday, Sandee! xx
You said it better than I did. Have a great day and weekend, Caz. 🙂
i agree with being able to laugh at ourselves, it has saved me many times for all the things I learned the hard way
Yes, laughing at yourself is a healthy thing. 🙂
What a great photo Sandee! They look so warm and cuddly I wish I could join them! Love your answers they showed your beautiful and wise heart! Have a safe and blessed Friday and weekend! Hugs! 🙂 <3
I thought these two are most adorable. Thanks for linking up and swinging by. Hugs and happy weekend. 🙂
Some good people are lost also.
This is true, Kismet. Love you. 🙂
I 100% agree with #2, one gains personal and physical power from conquering a fear
Hugs Cecilia
They do indeed and I’ve conquered many over the years. Hugs and happy weekend. 🙂
Love your fill-ins- especially #4….and those two kitties are sublimely sleeping! Darling! Have a great laughter filled weekend!
You have a great weekend filled with laughter too, Kathe. Hugs all around and an extra treat to Miss Lucy. 🙂
Love those kitties and I am PROUD that I have the ability to laugh at myself! Being candid, I actually laugh at and cut myself down waaaay too much! Sometimes wish others would learn to be able to look at themselves a bit as well.
I do such stupid things at time that I giggle myself half silly. Hubby and I enjoy laughing at ourselves. 🙂
Your fill-ins were perfect. I am curious what mistakes you think would be worth repeating! I never knew there were so many evil, mean and misguided people in the U.S. Thanks as always for linking us up. That kitties in the photo are precious. Love and warm hugs, Janet
“You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, ‘I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along. ‘ You must do the thing you think you cannot do.” Eleanor Roosevelt
Yes, exactly. I’ve been doing this my entire life. 🙂
Superb fill-ins, and yes #3 is very true right now. And totally agree for #2, a must do! Wishing mew a supurr weekend with lots of fun XX
Thanks for linking up and commenting. You have a great weekend too. 🙂
Very sweet photo! I agree with all 4 of your fill~ins, too!
🐈🐈⬛🐱,
Candice~Marie
I’m happy about that. Have a great day and weekend. 🙂
Yesterday was crazy busy around here so we did not get a chance to write a Friday post! We LOVE your fill-ins!
Have a marvellously Happy Day!
I was busy yesterday too and it took me well into the evening to get my comments done. 🙂
Thank You!
You’re most welcome, Cloudia. 🙂
Those are some seriously crashed kitties – very sweet. I concur with your fill-in answers. ~hugs~ After being a serious and moody child, I’m grateful my attitude is lighter these days (of course, caring for kittens and a forgiving old kitty sure help in these troubled times). ~grin~Be well!
We need to focus on our four legged family members. We’re happier and so are they. Be well too. 🙂
We love to visit today and very good fill ins. Dad says he is always laughing at himself so does not mind when we do. Hee Hee
It’s a good thing to be able to laugh at oneself. 🙂
Those two cats are adorable. The snuggle as if there’s no care in the world, I’m jealous.
You are so right about #2! It may take a lot of strength and willpower to overcome our fears, but realising the fear has no power over us is worth it.
Have a great weekend!
I’ve been thinking a lot about evil people lately too. I just can’t comprehend why they do the things they do; it really is sad.
When things start to get to me, I just go to Luke for some cuddles and smooches! He says to send some to you too. ♥
I would go to Luke for some cuddles too. Tell him I love him and thanks for the smooches. I’ll take all the smooches I can get from Luke. 🙂
What cute snooze buddies. So that’s why I have repeated some mistakes…they ‘needed’ to be repeated? Now I get it! 😜
I know not all mistakes are bad. Some are might fun. 🙂
Love your fill-ins. And the kitties look incredibly comfortable. Hope you have a warm and cozy weekend. xoxox
We’re starting off our weekend wonderfully. Quiet and the sun is shining for a change. 🙂
Such an adorable itty duo this week…and love your fill ins!!
I thought they were so cute and getting ready to enjoy the weekend. 🙂
I learned to ride a bicycle the hard way. Never had training wheels
Everyone should have a pet at least once in their lives.
Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about God.
I’ll never be too old to eat chocolate
I never had training wheels either. Pass the chocolate please. 🙂
Awww, they look so cozy!
They are cozy. Until they get into it about something. 🙂
Sweeties… Have a great weekend, Sandee!
You have a great weekend too, Bette. 🙂
Cuddling helps keep us warm when we are sleeping. That little cat is gettng pretty big, but he still likes his mama. Nice find, Sandee. Thank you for putting my cats on your list.
🙂 🙂 🙂

4. I’ll never be too old to _drive my car.
..
I hope the real truth comes out about the folks that were responsible for the Capitol breech. I don’t think we’ve been told the truth yet. 🙂
Cute, snuggly kitties.
I agree, Marsha. 🙂
Oh my goodnes, laughing at yourself is a real art form, but you are right the material just keeps coming 🙂
Yes I learned to laugh at myself long ago. It’s a good thing. 🙂
Those kitties certainly are cute. I love seeing them all snuggled together!
Being able to laugh at oneself is so important. I make myself laugh every day. 🙂
Happy weekend, Sandee!
I laugh at myself all the time. It’s grand fun. Happy week. 🙂
Thank you for visiting me at Pictorial Tuesday. I no longer have a cat, but have had several over the years. Now only my dog keeps me company. Cats have such great personalities, and fun to watch play. Love their inquisitiveness.
I don’t have any cats or pups anymore either, but I’ve had many over the years. So precious. Have a great week. 🙂
What a comfy snoozy picture! I sure would love to curl right up with those two. Dad says he has learned to laugh at himself more as he ages, and to not take so many things so seriously.
Dad is right too. Have a great week. 🙂
Ha! to the last one. Same over here. 🙂 I’m here to say good morning, and wish you a wonderful day! Here are my answers: 1. I learned that you can’t blindly trust people the hard way.
2. Everyone should love with everything in them at least once in their lives.
3. Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about finding more effective lesson plans for my low learners that still fits in the required curriculum of the school.
4. I’ll never be too old to enjoy life.
Good morning my friend. Thanks for playing along. I like your #4 too. Have a great week. 🙂
There are so many adorable cats on your blog, and I love it! And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! Your answer to #3 is both so true and so sad. Have a wonderful week!
Thank you for co-hosting the fun too. I’m sorry about the loss of your grandmother too. Grandmothers are very special. 🙂
