Yosemite Falls – Tumbling over a granite wall and pounding the rocks at the base of the cliff, Yosemite Falls is one of the most memorable and striking features in Yosemite Valley. Repeatedly popping into view over treetops and around corners as you drive through the valley, the falls look different from every angle, and it’s impossible to take your eyes off.

Have a fallstastic WWS ➡
It’s a magical place. I love it there. 🙂
A stunning picture and the reflection is perfect.
We’ve not visited in a while. It’s time to change that. Perhaps after the snow melts. 🙂
Beautiful. That’s a view I could never get tired of looking at.
It’s a wonderful place to explore during the good weather months. 🙂
That is so gorgeous!
It’s even prettier in person, Linda. 🙂
We missed out on Yosemite when i was a kid, i need to remedy that. Happy Wednesday!
It’s a great place to take the family. I hope you get to see it someday. 🙂
Yosemite falls are awe-inspiring. That’s a very stunning shot indeed. Perfect #WW moment.
The entire park is awe inspiring, Natasha. 🙂
That is sure pretty and the waterfall is stunning!
It is in person too. I’ve been right at those falls. 🙂
What a beautiful place, and it looks so warm in contrast to the cold we have outside today.
It’s gets snow in the winter, but it’s most beautiful during the good weather months. 🙂
Such a magnificent of photo. I have had the privilege of visiting Yosemite, and the falls (and everything else) are really amazing! Thank you for hosting, Sandee. Have a terrific Wednesday!
Yes everything is amazing there. You have a terrific Wednesday too. 🙂
IMHO, Yosemite is amazing for many things. Alas, living on the opposite side of our country, it is rare for my staff to be able to visit in person, thus I have never, ever had the chance to visit in any way but photos.
Purrseidon
It’s a breathtakingly beautiful place to visit. 🙂
That is such a gorgeous picture. Makes one feel like they are right there. Sandee, you and Zane have one really good day.
Someone knew how to capture the beauty of this place. You have a good day too, Marg. 🙂
What a marvelous example of the the work of the Creator and beautifully captured by the photographer. Have a great week.
Yes on both counts, my friend. You have a great week too. 🙂
Sandee,
Gorgeous picture! Thanks for sharing and hosting the mid-week fun! 😉
It is indeed. You’re most welcome on the sharing and hosting. 🙂
I visited Yosemite in the Winter and everything was covered with snow! I would love to see the Falls in Summer!
Happy WW, Sandee!
Yes, it’s more beautiful in the fair weather months. It’s warm too. Happy WW to you too, Veronica. 🙂
Very beautiful.
Most definitely, Binky. 🙂

I sent you an email.
Thanks for reminding me of so many happy memories of Yosemite.
I’ve many happy memories as well. 🙂
I am surprised this morning it is Wednesday. I need my calendar handy. I thought I had a post posting automatically and I don’t as it is the wrong day. But yes, I agree it is a beautiful photograph which makes me think beauty is not just in the eye of the beholder, it just “is”.
I’m often confused about what day it is too. It’s the way of retirement. Yes this just is. 🙂
Mother Nature surely can put on a show, can’t she!
Better than anyone else. 🙂
Great pic.
Thanks, Joe. We don’t live very far from there. 🙂
That must have been taken before the fire.
Probably so. California is burning every summer. No forest management here. They blame it on global warming though. 🙂
Magnificent! Xox from Ms. Z and me ~ ^_^
Happy Day to you,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
It is indeed, Carol. Happy day to you and Ms. Zoe. 🙂
Beautiful.. I love the bright sunny day. We’re heading into the gray days of winter. Already I can’t wait for sunny days.
It’s gray here today too. Raining, but we need it ever so much. 🙂
Beautiful! And I adore the addition of the Christmas mouse to the image of that kitten peaking out from under a blanket. Too fun. Be well!
All my headers have been dressed up by Ann. She does such cute things. Be well too, Darla. 🙂
yet another place on my bucket list!
You won’t be disappointing. It’s a beautiful place to visit. 🙂
Gorgeous! That’s one place we haven’t been yet but hope to get to one day!
Hope you have sunshine in SoCal today! There’s none in OR.
I hope you get to visit it one day too. You will love it, although you’re more of an ocean kind of gal. No sunshine here today. It’s raining, but that’s a good thing. 🙂
It simply says, “peace”.
It does indeed, Mike. My best to Seymour and Element. 🙂
Very peaceful and beautiful. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
It is both of those things. You have a wonderful week too, Patrick. 🙂
Yosemite looks to be a beautiful place to see in person.
Hope you’re having a wonderful Wednesday! <3
It is all that and more, Barbara. I love visiting there. I hope you’re having a wonderful Wednesday too. 🙂
Ooh, that looks like it would be a challenging mountain to climb! Nature is so-o beautiful in all her glory. Your photos are always amazing and we especially luv your header photos! Purr purr purr.
There are plenty of stuff to climb. Many do. Yes nature is indeed so beautiful. Ann did my headers for Christmas. 🙂
sooo pretty! xoxo
It sure is, Caren. One of my favorite places to visit. 🙂
Beautiful!! This would make a great 1,000 piece puzzle. ((Hugs))
Yes it would, Michelle. Hugs back/ 🙂
What an amazing photo!!! Look at that reflection!!!
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
There is a treasure around every corner here. Majestic. 🙂
Gorgeous! Yosemite is on our bucket list!
A very good place to have on your bucket list. 🙂
Is this not gorgeous. I can at least pretend to be there in my mind for a minute right?! 🙂
It’s a most wonderful place of beauty. Everywhere you go your mind is on overload with what to admire next. 🙂
I remember so many times I went there: first as a child camping with my mom and dad, then somehow walking/climbing up Half Dome, later hiking with my college friends and backpacking into Tuolumne Meadows https://www.nps.gov/yose/learn/nature/tuolumne.htm and finally taking my oldest son there on his 35th birthday. All memorable.
Yes, I’ve wonderful memories like you do. I’ve spent many a weekend exploring all this beauty. 🙂
Hi Sandee, how beautiful! How lovely would it be to sit and enjoy a picnic whilst admiring that view?
xx
There are many places for picnics too. It’s most delightful. 🙂
Thanks for linking us up. Love Yosemite. Tom and I spent part our our honeymoon there in one of the Awahnee cabins. My favorite thing as a kid was the fire falls each night. I don’t even remember when that stopped. With California a tinderbox that could never happen again. But wow, was it ever gorgeous! XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
Oh what a lovely place to honeymoon. I remember that as well. We’ve been around for a spell. Happy day. 🙂
p.s. Your Christmas header is super cute.
Ann at Zoolatry did those. She did a great job. 🙂
Yosemite is an amazing place to visit at least once. It’s been too long for me, and I only live several hours to the west.
I agree. It’s a place everyone should visit at least once. 🙂
HVe never been there but oh my gosh how beautiful it is.
It is more than beautiful. 🙂
