Wordless Wednesday

WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.

For all the rule breakers, of which I am one, please feel free to add all the words you want.

Make sure you leave a link to your post and Iโ€™ll visit your Wordless Wednesday post.

A million seconds is 12 days; a billion seconds is 31 years. That’s the difference between a millionaire and a billionaire. Source: BuzzFeed

Love all the clocks! And that is quite a staggering difference. ๐Ÿ˜ฒ According to Forbes, there are 3428 billionaires worldwide. Here’s hoping they use some of that vast wealth for good. Thanks for hosting the WW linkup, Sandee. Wishing you a beautiful day! ๐Ÿค—

    • Sandee says:

I can’t imagine having that much money. Just can’t. Double Pawkisses to you both and a big hug to your wonderful Granny. ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Suzana says:

I like the image and projects with gearwheels. No idea when I start this.
I can not imagine these amounts of money. It’s a sort of science fiction for me!
Happy WW, dear Sandee! Hugs and love!โค๏ธ๐Ÿ˜˜

  4. Eugi says:

That’s a cool image of all of the clocks. I agree with Debbie’s comment, and hope they use all that wealth for something good. Happy Wednesday. Hugs.

  5. Binky says:

I think we often don’t realize the incredible difference between a million and a billion and a trillion (which would be 31,709 years).

  6. Suzette Benjamin says:

That is a great bit of information and comparison that I did not know. It is amazing how time is also our wealth. I love the photo, superb.
    Happy Wordless Wednesday, dear friend.
Much love, hugs, and peace to you!

  7. DrillerAA says:

I’m going to come down on the side of the apostle Paul when he wrote, in Philippians 4:11, “I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content.” I am perfectly okay with not being a billionaire. Have a blessed week.

    • Sandee says:

Hubby and I have a saying. If you don’t have enough money you worry about money. If you have lots of money you worry about money. We are comfortable and don’t worry about money. I’m with you. ๐Ÿ™‚

  8. Pat says:

I did not know this about seconds ! It amde me think about money–thedifference between a million dollars and a billion dollars! Just think of all the good things in the world that a billion dollars could do.

  9. Debra @ Life Captured says:

Amazingly, your image of all those clocks made me think of my grandma’s cuckoo clock! I remember the little red bird coming out on the hour to cuckoo ๐Ÿ™‚
Thank you for the memory, priceless! I shared 45 and 46.
    All the best.

  10. CatSynth says:

I am fascinated by mechanical clocks and their gears!
And quite a perspective to keep in mind. Another way to look at it: a billionaire is 1000x richer than a millionaire, while a millionaire is at best only 50x richer than the poverty line in the US.

  11. CAAC says:

Interesting comparison! Being a millionaire would be awesome, but can you imagine being a billionaire? That’s just unbelievable the difference. My brain really can’t wrap around that kind of money. Although, I’d certainly like to try. ๐Ÿ™‚

  12. Kitties Blue says:

Wow, that really puts things into perspective. And makes my head spin when I think about the multi-billionaires. They could and should work on solving our world’s problems. 13. Darla M Sands says:

As a kid, the idea of an infinite universe kept me up at night sometimes and almost made me queasy. Silly, huh? And this is worse. LOL Have a blessed week, my dear.

    • Sandee says:

They are indeed. I was amazed. Happy Wednesday and rest of the week. Love and hugs to you and scritches to handsome Wilson. ๐Ÿ™‚

  14. Pam Jackson says:

As if I don’t have enough crap in my life, I once started to collect clocks. I made myself stop. Being retired, who needs all those clocks.
