Thereโs a pub in Ireland thatโs been running for more than 1,100 years! Seanโs Bar in Athlone in Ireland has been open for business since about 900 AD, with records of every owner of the pub since its founding. While surprising at first, it makes sense that it has stood the test of time. Seanโs Bar is in the middle of a town thatโs pretty much smack-bang in the center of Ireland. Source: The Fact Site

We traveled through Ireland many years ago…..friendly people everywhere but you could count on finding friends in every little establishment like this in every little town. Always a warm welcome.
