Her name was Kitty, and she belonged to a man called George Johnstone. They lived in Staffordshire, UK, where Kitty broke the record by having a litter of two kittens when she was 30. She gave birth to a total of 218 kittens throughout her life. Source: The Fact Site

Oh, dear, that poor kitty. But she looks very healthy in her photo, hope she was.

My goodness……how exhausting for her to spend her whole very long life having litter after litter of kittens! She was a beautiful cat though.

Poor cat. The owner should be jailed. She was beautiful. I am amazed she lived so long and didn’t get mammary cancer as the longer one is not fixed, the more odds of getting it . Thanks for hosting. Have a nice day. ( Sorry for the rant, but I feel strongly about getting pets fixed). XO

They can have 2-3 litters a year. Gestation is two months. That’s a lot of babies and raising kitties each year. 🙂
