Wordless Wednesday

WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.

For all the rule breakers, of which I am one, please feel free to add all the words you want.

Make sure you leave a link to your post and I’ll visit your Wordless Wednesday post.

The Eiffel tower is a great engineering achievement. Paris was very wise to embrace its construction way back then. Great trivia as always, Sandee. Thank you. Happy Wordless Wednesday. Much love to you.

I am happy to say I have been up to the Eiffel Tower.
Unfortunately not a long visit. It was in April 1969 there were student protests going on in Paris. The chaperones of our group of 19 years olds. Rushed us out of the hotel at 6 am on to a bus to make a quick trip to the Eiffel Tower. We had plans to stay in Paris for 4 days but only stayed 24 hours then on to Englang.
    Hugs Cecili

I am afraid of heights so when I was in Paris in the summer of 1965 going to school, I never went up it. However, when Dad Tom and I went to Paris several years ago, I braved it. The painting makes it look much more beautiful than it is. But still, it is a very cool structure. Thanks for linking us up. I had the privilege of seeing it up close when I was in Paris. I didn’t know that bit about Barcelona, but I knew it wasn’t universally welcomed in Paris, either. It’s interesting how there is often resistance to new buildings that are different, but then people grow to love them over time.

    • Sandee – California – Home of Awww Mondays, Happy Tuesday, and Wordless Wednesday.
      Sandee says:

You’re right about it not being universally welcomed in Paris. It sure is a wonderful tourist attraction. I would love to visit. 🙂

Interesting information. I don’t know much about it, but I’ve seen it when I was in Paris one time, from a distance at least. I was at the Orly airport. I’ve been to the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas though! And Paris Texas 🙂
    Have a fun Wednesday! <3

  17. Wing Commander Basil & The B Team – UK – Well, now there's a question! Furstly and most importantly I'm a cat if mew hadn't already guessed. I got my Wing Commander status in September 2018 but that hasn't slowed me up at all! I tweet, Instacat, FB, Tumble & Pin too and now there's Basil TV on YouTube. All in all I'm a thoroughly Modern Cat; a cat of the 21st century, mew might say. My human & Purrsonal Assistant aka P.A. is Cathrine Garnell, and she writes books including a tale about my fictional alter ego, Basil the Bionic Cat. [See Books Page] I live in a multi-cat household, and mew can meet the rest of The B Team here most days of the week, as they all like a turn on the blog. I like mice, but then don't we all? I also like fresh tuna, chicken and prawns. I LOVE catnip, not in any excess I might add before mew jump to any wild conclusions. Thanks so much for dropping by, as we The B Team, love making new furriends, so do leave us a comment and say hi.
Wing Commander Basil & The B Team says:

How interesting, we never knew that! Thank mew for adding our links again, mew are EPIC! Happy Sunday, and we hope your week is blessed! ❤️😻🐾🐾😻❤️
