Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F 2024 – Forty Years Later
Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F is a 2024 American action comedy film directed by Mark Molloy and written by Will Beall, Tom Gormican, and Kevin Etten from a story by Beall. Serving as the fourth installment in the Beverly Hills Cop film series and a sequel to Beverly Hills Cop III (1994), Eddie Murphy (who also produces) reprises his role as Axel Foley, with Judge Reinhold, John Ashton, Paul Reiser, and Bronson Pinchot reprising their roles from previous films in the franchise, while Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Taylour Paige, and Kevin Bacon star in new roles.
Axel Foley has returned to Beverly Hills after his daughter Jane’s life is threatened. She and Axel team up with her ex-boyfriend and his old pals, John Taggart and Billy Rosewood, to uncover a conspiracy.
Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F was released on the streaming service Netflix on July 3, 2024. Source: Wikipedia Hubby and I LOVED this movie.

Have a great week and thanks so much for hosting!

You have a great rest of the week, too. 🙂
If I had Netflix I would watch this.
We don’t have regular television channels. We have Netflix and Amazon Prime. No commercials. 🙂
I’ve never seen any of the Beverly Hills Cop stuff. Maybe it’s time to check it out!
The movies are scary in places and very funny in other places. Worth the watch. 🙂
Definately one to watch!
It sure is. Love the first through the last one. Great entertainment. 🙂
Forty years ago, yep, it’s confirmed Mom really is old but she talks about this movie as if it was yesterday.
I’m in the same boat with you. It’s all good. Life is such a wonderful adventure. 🙂
Can you belive that I do not have Netflix?
I do not say this often. Some could interpret that I am… disturb!😀
Happy WW, dear Sandee! Hugs and joy! Thank you for the game! ❤️😘
Not everyone has Netflix. We love it because there are no commercials. Love and hugs, Suzana. 🙂
We haven’t seen the new one yet, but are looking forward to it. Glad to know you and Zane loved it. Happy Wednesday, Sandee!😊
Sorry about that typo! I’m not sure how that “knit” snuck in there.🤔
MOL…😹
It’s a great movie and well worth the watch. Happy Wednesday. 🙂
I would watch this too If it eventually comes on to other streaming service I am Netflixless lol 🙂
Have a BeverlyHillCopstastic week Sandee & thanks as alweays for hosting 👍
It’s a fun movie and many of the original actors are in this movie. Fun movie. Happy WW and rest of the week, Steve. 🙂
I loved this movie too, Sandee! Thank you for sharing the backstory. Happy Wednesday!
You’re most welcome. Happy Wednesday and rest of the week, Eugenia. 🙂
Thank you, Sandee! Hugs!
we loved it. it was fun and made us laugh. the only thing is I kept thinking how did he get so OLD? ha ha… all the stars we know and love seem to be OLD….
They are 40 years older. It was amazing to see the difference. A fun movie. 🙂
I haven’t seen this one yet. Thanks for hosting. Have a great day. XO
It was a fun look at the actors 40 years later. You have a great day too, Ellen. Scritches to the kitties. 🙂
I used to like that actor but I don’t watch any of his films anymore.
There must be a story here that I don’t know. I’ll have to figure out why. 🙂
We haven’t seen any new movies in years, but this one probably would be funny.
Happy Wednesday! ♥
It was a fun movie to watch. Happy Wednesday and rest of the week, Barbara. 🙂
Netflix? Aargh. Don’t have it. I would have loved to have seen it. Alana ramblinwitham
It will be out somewhere at some point. It was a fun movie. 🙂
We haven’t seen this yet.
Hubby and I loved seeing the actors 40 years later. 🙂
We saw this last week, Sandee, and Grandpaw liked it very much, but Granny fell asleep😸 Double Pawkisses for a Happy Wednesday🐾😽💞
His humor is not for everyone and he can use lots of four letter words, but it was a fun movie. Double Pawkisses to you both and a big hug to Granny. 🙂
Another blast from the past! Thanks for bringing it to the fore again.
We loved all the differences 40 years later. Fun movie. 🙂
We loved the original movies and also enjoyed the new one. And the song too, of course. 🙂 Eddie Murphy has aged gracefully, don’t you think?
He has aged gracefully indeed. Some of the others didn’t. Happy Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week, Debbie. 🙂
I agree. Judge Reinhold looked like a victim of bad plastic surgery. 😲
LOVED Eddie Murphy in this. Wonderful actor…
I agree with you. He’s so funny and I love his laugh. 🙂
Thanks for movie suggestion
Lots of hugs and love to you from me and Z ~ ^_^
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,
clm ~ A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
You’re most welcome. Love and hugs to you and Ziggy. 🙂
I should probably look for the others to binge watch…before this one comes out
Hugs and Happy Wednesday
Cecilia
Watching all of them from the beginning is a good way to go. Happy Wordless Wednesday, Cecilia. Hugs. 🙂
So glad to hear you all loved it! It’s on our list.
We did love it. We both love Eddie Murphy. Scritches to the girls. 🙂
Yay…squeals-I have to see that new film! Loved the Fisher Price squad car observation. Always loved the first Beverly Hills Cop. It also had the best soundtrack.
We loved all the Beverly Hills Cop movies. Wonderful entertainment. Scritches to the pups and a hug to you. 🙂
Thanks, Sandee. Just got through watching it. Nice play off the first film. Classic Axel Foley.
Interesting. I don’t have Netflix, so I will need to find a way to watch it. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week,
I love Eddie Murphy. I love his unique laugh. He’s a wonderful actor. 🙂
I need, NEED, to see this. After the “Shrek” movies, I figured he would never do a live action film again. And the man looks so healthy and fit, it made my day. We watched the original just yesterday. Thanks again for reminding me of it. Now I need to buy the two sequels, then figure out how to watch this version. Hugs, my dear.
It’s worth the watch my friend. Hugs for a happy rest of the week. 🙂
Thank you Sandee, I did not know about this one! Have a lovely rest of your day!
A fun movie. Happy Wordless Wednesday, Suzette. 🙂
Thank you Sandee! Cheers.
Sometimes the sequel is just as good, and that’s a happy thing for everyone.
I pray you and Mr. Zane have a great week, scritches to Lil’ Bit and Squeaker.
It’s a great movie. You and Mr Sweetie have a great rest of the week, too. Love and hugs. 🙂
I can’t believe it’s been 40 years. I have Netflix so I will have to check this out. Have a great week!
It’s been 40 years. Wait till you see some the original cast members now. 🙂
Eddie Murphy and the original cast were fantastic, and the new additions like Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Kevin Bacon were great. My husband and I enjoyed watching it. Nostalgic and exciting!
Happy Thursday, Sandee!
I agree with you. Happy Wordless Wednesday. 🙂
Not a fan of foul language that will probably permeate this film to give it the R rating. Eddie Murphy is a great actor if he can just get out of the gutter.

He does have a potty mouth, but that seems to be the case on television anymore. 🙂
Thus we do not have any TV service; we borrow movies from the local library so we can control what feeds our minds.☺️
Anything that makes you laugh is worth watching. 🙂 Have a great day!
It’s a great movie. Happy day and rest of the week. 🙂
Happy Caturday Sandee, sorry we’re too late to join in this week, we endeavour to do better next time! And thank mew for adding us to Monday’s hop, we really appreciate it! 😻🐾😻🐾😻
I love it 😀
Thanks so much for participating and sharing at #38 #WW (Words welcome). See you Wednesday at #39, https://esmesalon.com/tag/wordlesswednesday/
Hmm, dad liked the first one (he says many movies should’ve just been left alone after the first) and when he read about this remake, thought it wouldn’t be worth it. However, after reading that you and the hubby enjoyed it, he wants to see it. He says thanks for the info!
It was a great movie. You’ll enjoy it if you loved the first one. Happy weekend. 🙂
Axel F almost makes me wish I had cable this ought to be funny!
It’s funny and scary. Worth the watch. Scritches to Screwball. 🙂
