Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F 2024 – Forty Years Later

Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F is a 2024 American action comedy film directed by Mark Molloy and written by Will Beall, Tom Gormican, and Kevin Etten from a story by Beall. Serving as the fourth installment in the Beverly Hills Cop film series and a sequel to Beverly Hills Cop III (1994), Eddie Murphy (who also produces) reprises his role as Axel Foley, with Judge Reinhold, John Ashton, Paul Reiser, and Bronson Pinchot reprising their roles from previous films in the franchise, while Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Taylour Paige, and Kevin Bacon star in new roles.

Axel Foley has returned to Beverly Hills after his daughter Jane’s life is threatened. She and Axel team up with her ex-boyfriend and his old pals, John Taggart and Billy Rosewood, to uncover a conspiracy.

Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F was released on the streaming service Netflix on July 3, 2024.  Source: Wikipedia Hubby and I LOVED this movie.

His humor is not for everyone and he can use lots of four letter words, but it was a fun movie. Double Pawkisses to you both and a big hug to Granny. 🙂

I need, NEED, to see this. After the “Shrek” movies, I figured he would never do a live action film again. And the man looks so healthy and fit, it made my day. We watched the original just yesterday. Thanks again for reminding me of it. Now I need to buy the two sequels, then figure out how to watch this version. Hugs, my dear.

  7. Veronica Lee says:

Eddie Murphy and the original cast were fantastic, and the new additions like Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Kevin Bacon were great. My husband and I enjoyed watching it. Nostalgic and exciting!

    Happy Thursday, Sandee!

  8. Smudge says:

Hmm, dad liked the first one (he says many movies should’ve just been left alone after the first) and when he read about this remake, thought it wouldn’t be worth it. However, after reading that you and the hubby enjoyed it, he wants to see it. He says thanks for the info!
