WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.
For all the rule breakers, of which I am one, please feel free to add all the words you want.
Make sure you leave a link to your post and I’ll visit your Wordless Wednesday post.
East Brother Light Station
Pictured here is the bed and breakfast at East Brother Light Station near Richmond, Calif., East Brother Light Station sits on a small island in the strait separating the San Francisco and San Pablo Bays. Hubby and I have boated past this island many times going to and from the San Francisco Bay. We’ve always wanted to spend a weekend here.
Linking up with a bunch of fantastic peeps from the blogosphere who host Wordless Wednesday – Betty, Steve, image-in-ing, Keith, Cathy, Sara, Esme Salon, CatSynth, and Suzana.

That is a tiny island. How cool that would be to stay there though.
We’ve been past it so many times and it’s most beautiful. Perhaps we’ll go when Zane heals up. It would be fun. 🙂
What a cool looking little Island Sandee. A wonderful arial view. I’ve just added a Photography Blog to my WordPress account so I can do WW every week now plus display my photography. I don’t really like Instagram which I quit ages ago & while Flickr is good it’s expensive as you have to go “Pro” once you reach the 1000 photos free limit. Plus I like participating in various link ups.
As SteveBeThere would say have a Wordlesstastic Day
You’re always welcome in my hops, Tony. I’ll check out your photography blog. Way to go, Tony. 🙂
its beautiful, I say go for it… of course now you have the sweet kitties that might not be an option
I’m sure the kitties wouldn’t be allowed. We’ve always admired this island when we’ve boated by. 🙂
That would be fun staying there and all that fresh air too nice captur too 🙂
Have an islandtastic week Sandee and thanks for hosting 👍
It’s isolated from the rest of the world. The photograph doesn’t do it justice. 🙂
That’s a really neat little island B and B. I’d you and Zane ever stay there, I hope you’ll share about your experience with us! 🙂
If we go I’ll make sure there will be lots of photographs. It’s a beautiful spot. 🙂
That would be a fun place to spend a night. As long as the weather is nice, we would like to visit there too.
It sure would. We’ve always wanted to stay here. 🙂
What a cool looking place.
It sure is, Sharon. A beautiful place to get away from it all. 🙂
That would be fun to visit. Thanks for hosting. Have a great day. XO
It sure would be and we’ve always wanted to visit. We should and soon. You have a great day too, Ellen. Scritches to the kitties. 🙂
That has to be a fun place – stay there, Sandee! Life is too short. Alana ramblinwitham
I hear you, Alana. We do need to go when Zane is well again. You’re right, life is too short. Hugs, my friend. 🙂
Oh, I would love to stay there! Happy Wednesday! Hugs.
It would be fun if we were there at the same time.
I tried to comment on your Wordless Wednesday post and there was not place to comment. Just wanted you to know.
Happy Wednesday, my friend. Hugs. 🙂
Oh, it would, Sandee. I fixed the comments, I hope.😉
At least for a few nights I would stay there. But no more, even it’s a fantastic place.
Just for a new experience.
Thank you, Sandee for such an image. Hugs and all the best to your hubby and you.
Happy WW! ❤️😘
It’s very isolated. I would love that. I can hear the boats go by and the views are amazing. Happy WW, Suzana. Hugs. 🙂
You would have the whole place to yourselves. What fun!
I can’t remember how many rooms they have, but mot many. I’m guessing it would be such an amazing adventure. 🙂
Being an introvert, living on an island alone with my collies has enormous appeal! But even I would tire of the isolation eventually.
And I am totally a WW rule breaker. I already had a post scheduled, so it is what it is…but next week we will try to do better! Promise! Lol
Hubby and I would love it if we could take our kitties. Such a beautiful place with amazing views. 🙂
That would be nice, as long as there were no big storms.
I hear you about the storms, but during the summer months it would be most fun. 🙂
That is a super cool lighthouse location!
It sure is and when you’re on the island or on a boat the views are amazing. 🙂
That is an amazing place. I would love to go there.
It sure is. Hubby and I would love to go there, too. 🙂
I love lighthouses…and that Island is gorgeous, we have lots on the NC coast.
I hope you and Zane are reading this from the comfort of your home
Hugs Cecilia
The draw for us is it’s an island. Just most beautiful.
Zane is doing so very well and it’s wonderful having him home. Love and hugs, my friend. 🙂
Yippee Zane is home. Excellent news and he has 3 great nurses
Yes he has three nurses. Love and hugs. 🙂
Wow! That would seem to be a “bucket list” place for almost any California resident or anyone who enjoys the ocean. Excellent choice today.
We’ll never boat to San Francisco anymore because it’s a nasty place and unsafe, but we sure enjoyed it for many bay cruises. Happy WW, my friend and it’s wonderful to know that everything is grand in your world. 🙂
Fascinating!
What a great place to have a mystery weekend!
I hear you and we would love spend the weekend there. 🙂
Pretty and unique place. Bet it’s expensive to stay there, but would sure be an experience.
Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday! <3
I’m sure it is since everything has to be boated over. It’s such a beautiful place. 🙂
I would certainly love to stay there!
Happy Wednesday, Sandee!
Veronica Lee
I hear you. Hubby and I should spend a weekend there. Happy Wednesday, Veronica. Hugs. 🙂
I’ve seen that island and lighthouse many times; I’m also quite curious to visit and stay there!
I’m sure you have living in the city. It’s a most beautiful island. Happy Wordless Wednesday. 🙂
Is that island real? It looks like a very convincing model. Well done.
By the way I tried to enter O Dani Girl to the blog hop list, but twice in a row it told me it was a duplicate even though I couldn’t find it on the list.
I’ll see if I can fix the link, Wendy. Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week. Scritches to beautiful Dani. 🙂
I hope you have the chance to experience that sometime soon. It looks so beautiful. Happy Wordless Wednesday!
We hope so too. It would be a most wonderful adventure. Happy Wordless Wednesday. 🙂
It will be awesome to stay over on that island, wow

What a beautiful place to spend a weekend. So very secluded…and I would love the ocean sounds!
Thanks for sharing and hosting!
It’s very beautiful. We’ve always admired it as we boated by. 🙂
That would be so cool. Wonder how much it costs per night…
Rooms at East Brother light station range from $475 to $575, which includes breakfast. Guests can also rent out the entire island for $2,500. 🙂
I guess that would work for a really special occasion, or a group of people! In any case, it’s a super cool place!
Wow, that place screams relaxation! Love it.
It sure does. I want to go and I know hubby would love it too. 🙂
