WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.
For all the rule breakers, of which I am one, please feel free to add all the words you want.
Make sure you leave a link to your post and I’ll visit your Wordless Wednesday post.
Dinner in the Sky
If you’re not a fan of heights, this one isn’t for you. Dinner in the Sky, which originated in Belgium, uses a crane to lift whole dining sections (complete with wait staff, chef, and table) 160 feet into the air, where you can enjoy your meal. Just make sure you use the restroom beforehand, because there’s no going back down between courses.
Linking up with a bunch of fantastic peeps from the blogosphere who host Wordless Wednesday – Betty, Steve, image-in-ing, Keith, Cathy, Sara, Esme Salon, CatSynth, and Suzana.
I am not good with heights but I would give it a try especially if it was a free meal LOLOL 🙂
Have a dinnertastic week and thanks for hosting Sandee 👍
I would go too, but I’d use the restroom first. 🙂
Haha! Lack of restrooms was my first thought. 😆 Otherwise, it might be a fun adventure. Happy Wednesday, Sandee!
I hear you on the restroom, but I’d do this. 🙂
It must be an amazing experience, but there is absolutely no way I could do that!
It would be an amazing experience. Hugs, my friend. 🙂
Nope, Sorry! Ain’t no way! Uh-huh! You will not get me up there! Sorry! The picture makes me wobbly! hahaha Have a great day my Sista! Sorry, I’m late… I had surgery today and I’m feeling fine! Luv ya sooooooo much! HUGS! GREAT PHOTO!
I know hubby wouldn’t do this, so I wouldn’t either. I would love to though. 🙂
I like the look of that! I had an open-air dangling meal in Dubai where the table and benches were hoisted up and our feet hung down below – we were strapped on, fortunately!
I thought this was so amusing and I would love to try this type of dining. 🙂
The view must be amazing from up there. I wonder what it’s like if the wind is blowing. I picture food sliding off the table.
I would think so. I wouldn’t want to go on a windy day though. 🙂
No thank you. I will not be joining them for dinner!
Hubby wouldn’t go either. He hates heights. Scritches to Miss Molly. 🙂
Oh nope. Not happening over here. Interesting to see though… we humans sure come up with a lot of daredevil stuff.
I hear you. This is way out there, but it looks like fun. 🙂
Hmm. No bathrooms? I would imagine that could cause issues! lol
I bet the view is amazing, though!
It would for us old folks. I bet the view is amazing as well. 🙂
It’s an interesting idea, but not for us. It probably is not a cheap meal either!
I’m sure it’s pretty pricey. I didn’t get any info on the prices though. 🙂
Um….no thanks.
My husband said the very same thing. 🙂
Yikes! I am afraid of heights and no bathrooms would be an issue. But the view must be amazing. Happy Wednesday!
I hear you on both counts. Hubby hates heights and I need to know where the restroom is. 🙂
Yeah…no
It looks like most of us are saying no. 🙂
It would be the motion and not the heights – a big No Thank You here.
I’m guessing there is motion in the mix. I still think the view would be amazing. 🙂
my answer to would I do this is the same as if you asked me to go play in the middle of the interstate. NO! No no
I don’t want to play in the middle of the interstate either. Happy Wordless Wednesday. 🙂
I’m pretty sure I’d skip that dinner party!
I’ll keep my feet on the ground too. Safer. 🙂
Oh my goodness, that is not for me! haha I could probably be talked into it, though. 🤍😽
I know I could get talked into it, but hubby wouldn’t go. 🙂
I will pass on that experience. 🙂 Thanks for hosting. Have a great day. XO
I hear you. I’ll bet it’s very pricey to do this. You have a great day too, Ellen. Scritches to the kitties. 🙂
Whoa. That is some dining in the round.
In 1968, before we were married my husbands groomsman took us to out to a new fancy restaurant at the top of a brand new Holiday Inn. The restaurant was the first revolving one at least in NC. Thankfully it was enclosed completely. It revolved ever so slowly. About the only way you new you were moving was to stare at out as you revolved to see the scenery change.Don’t know if the famous Space Needle in Seattle was open.
Hugs Cecilia
I love the enclosed revolving restaurant. It’s a wonderful experience. Love and hugs, my friend. 🙂
I’m pretty sure I’d skip that dinner party
I think the price would made it a no for me. 🙂
I like to keep my feet on the ground.
I do too, Binky, but I would love to try this. 🙂
Yikes…talk about feeling veritgo!
There is that. Scritches to Elsa and a big hug to you. 🙂
Certainly a unique experience ~ lovely photo ~ thanks,
Lots of hugs and love from me and Ziggy ~ hugs to your kitties too ~ Xo’s
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
I would do it, but hubby wouldn’t, so I’ll be here with my feet on the ground. Love and hugs to you and Ziggy. 🙂
What a fiction place! I love it. And also the others weird places from
the link! Nice holiday destinations!
Happy WW, dear Sandee!
Thank you for the game! Have a fabulous week ahead!
Hugs! ❤️😘
There were lots of weird places for sure. I love finding weird things. You have a fabulous rest of the week, Suzana. Hugs. 🙂
Just what I want I look for in romantic dining to be suspended a zillion feet off the ground and hanging by a cable hoping nothing goes wrong. Maybe the odds are in my favor but there’s a greater odd that I’m sure to not be able to get a single bite to stay in my tummy. The heights would make me that sick. I don’t like looking over the edge of stairwell.
Hubby would react the same way. I don’t like heights either, but if I feel safe in my surroundings then I’m fine with heights. Hugs. 🙂
Nope, not for me please and thank you. I will stay down where I can feel the earth under my feet. Thanks for hosting

I preferred to take photos from the ground ;-). though not in front of atomium but triumphal arch.
My preferred place too. Happy Wordless Wednesday, Klara. 🙂
We’re not sure if we can eat, when we’re up there, Sandee, but it looks amazing from here…MOL…Double Pawkisses for a Happy Week ahead🐾😽💞
I’m sure I could eat, but if it’s windy I wouldn’t like it. Double Pawkisses to you both and a big hug to Granny. 🙂
I’m not sure I’d like this, but I would give it a try. It looks interesting.
I’ll go with you. We can give each other support. 🙂
Sande,Sorry I don’t do heights like that.ever since I got out of the USAF for some reason I like Terra Firma a hell of a lot.
I’d rather have my feet on the ground too, but this would be a fascinating thing to experience. 🙂
That looks like a fun way to have dinner, but we don’t think we would ever find our Mom dining there – no heights like that for her!!!
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
I would give it a try. Well I say that sitting in my office chair, but I probably wouldn’t go either. 🙂
That looks pretty strange. I don’t think I’d like being up there and would not enjoy my meal.
Hope your Wednesday has been a good one. <3
I’m not sure how I would react, but I’d love to try. No alcohol though. That would make it worse. 🙂
AHHH, A beautiful pic but not for me. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
Hubby says no too. You have a wonderful week too, Patrick. 🙂
I would be terrified.
I hear you. I would try it, but I’m not sure I would like it. 🙂
I love you my Perfect Wife, but I don’t want to go to dinner there. Your loving Husband.
I know you wouldn’t dine here. I love you, my Husband. 🙂
Not in this or any lifetime.
I hope you and Mr. Zane have a fabulous rest of your week and weekend, and scritches to Lil’ Bit and Squeakers.
Love you, my friend. 🙂
Uh, no. Solid pass from me regardless of cost. lol On my thirtieth birthday visit to Disneyworld Orlando, Florida I dreaded the Tower of Terror. My husband and friends encouraged my first ride and, funny enough, I got instantly hooked!
At my urging we exited and got right back into the (amazingly) short line over a dozen times! 😀 On a visit years later the drop was way less exciting (never straight down from the whole height) but we have our memories. Blessings and hugs, my dear.
The older we get, the harder it is.
Hugs. 🙂
To heck with getting old; we should go skydiving together. lol
I hear you. Some folks can live on the edge. I’m not sure my heart could take it at 72. 🙂
No thanks!
I’ll stick to enjoying my meals on solid ground!
Cool photo, Sandee!
I’ll be with hubby on solid ground, too. 🙂
I have seen it but I didn’t have supper up there, it’s very expensive, better eating in the last ball of the Atomium, from which you see exactly the same and the food is very good and the prices democratic.
It’s a cool way to dine, but I figured it was very expensive. Happy rest of the week, Gattina. 🙂
OMG, now we’re not sure we’d like being in there with all those peeps hanging by a thread! MOL Epic photo though! Happy Friyay Sandee, and we hope mew have a totally pawesome weekend!
It’s something I would want to do, but actually doing it is another story. 🙂
My first thought when I read this post was, what about the restroom? Glad you answered that one, won’t be taking that dinner thank you very much!
That makes two of us. Need the restroom. 🙂
