Wordless Wednesday

WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.

For all the rule breakers, of which I am one, please feel free to add all the words you want.

Make sure you leave a link to your post and I’ll visit your Wordless Wednesday post.

Dinner in the Sky

If you’re not a fan of heights, this one isn’t for you. Dinner in the Sky, which originated in Belgium, uses a crane to lift whole dining sections (complete with wait staff, chef, and table) 160 feet into the air, where you can enjoy your meal. Just make sure you use the restroom beforehand, because there’s no going back down between courses.

Linking up with a bunch of fantastic peeps from the blogosphere who host Wordless Wednesday – Betty, Steve, image-in-ing, Keith, Cathy, Sara, Esme Salon, CatSynth, and Suzana.

Whoa. That is some dining in the round.
In 1968, before we were married my husbands groomsman took us to out to a new fancy restaurant at the top of a brand new Holiday Inn. The restaurant was the first revolving one at least in NC. Thankfully it was enclosed completely. It revolved ever so slowly. About the only way you new you were moving was to stare at out as you revolved to see the scenery change.Don’t know if the famous Space Needle in Seattle was open.
    Hugs Cecilia

Just what I want I look for in romantic dining to be suspended a zillion feet off the ground and hanging by a cable hoping nothing goes wrong. Maybe the odds are in my favor but there’s a greater odd that I’m sure to not be able to get a single bite to stay in my tummy. The heights would make me that sick. I don’t like looking over the edge of stairwell.

  6. Esme Slabbert says:

Nope, not for me please and thank you. I will stay down where I can feel the earth under my feet. Thanks for hosting

  7. The OP Pack says:

That looks like a fun way to have dinner, but we don’t think we would ever find our Mom dining there – no heights like that for her!!!

That looks pretty strange. I don’t think I’d like being up there and would not enjoy my meal.
Hope your Wednesday has been a good one. <3

Not in this or any lifetime.

I hope you and Mr. Zane have a fabulous rest of your week and weekend, and scritches to Lil’ Bit and Squeakers.

Uh, no. Solid pass from me regardless of cost. lol On my thirtieth birthday visit to Disneyworld Orlando, Florida I dreaded the Tower of Terror. My husband and friends encouraged my first ride and, funny enough, I got instantly hooked!

At my urging we exited and got right back into the (amazingly) short line over a dozen times! 😀 On a visit years later the drop was way less exciting (never straight down from the whole height) but we have our memories. Blessings and hugs, my dear.

I have seen it but I didn’t have supper up there, it’s very expensive, better eating in the last ball of the Atomium, from which you see exactly the same and the food is very good and the prices democratic.
