Who are the Music Moves Me bloggers? They are bloggers who blog about music each Monday and if you have music to share, you are most welcome to join! Your MMMM co- hostesses are Xmas Dolly, Curious as a Cathy, Ramblin’ with AM, and Stacy Uncorked.
This is a music link up. Your 2024 4M party host/hostess are found HERE. Every other week we have a suggested music theme to build your song set around and all participants share YouTube or Vimeo videos for our music enthusiasts. Themes aren’t mandatory to gain access to the dance floor but failure to meet the basic guideline (post must contain music) puts your URL in danger of being labeled – NO MUSIC.
The theme this week is: Songs inspired by fiction/non-fiction people or historical events. As always, have fun.

I love that funky vibe of the 70s! I don’t recall if I watched Shaft as a rerun. I was a bit too young to take an interest in this type of film genre. Goldfinger is a real classic we all know even if you never saw the movies. Great theme song picks! Thanks for boogieing with us, darlin’!
I loved both these movies. I was a big fan of 007 flicks and their music was always so fabulous. Love and hugs. 🙂
Ha, ha, Goldfinger! Mom’s brother was always into those movies, Mom has never had any interest but loves the music.
I agree that the music in the 007 flicks were amazing. 🙂
I remember Shaft. I never did care much for the 007 movies.
I love action flicks and 007 has a lot of actions and great music too. 🙂
Excellent choices! Shaft always gets my toes tapping. Happy Musical Monday.
I watched that movie when it came out decades ago. I should watch it again. 🙂
Such classic songs here. Really enjoy these two.
I loved the movies and really loved the music. 🙂
These are two really great movie themes!
Two movies I love, too. 🙂
I had the Shaft album back when and I also had Goldfinger’s theme song on a 45. So of course I loved your set. Goldfinger remains one of my favorite James Bond movies. “No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!” in the laser scene has to be the best quote from the entire series that I’ve seen (I haven’t seen the past few). I did too. Loved Shaft. Thanks for stopping by. Happy new week. 🙂
Good choices for the theme, and talk about opposites!
It was the two I thought of first. Hugs. 🙂

I thought I had better post a Monday’s Music. I don’t do it very often, but I felt the urge to participate. Love you, Marie. 🙂
Shaft had such a great soundtrack. I love your picks today, Sandee!
I loved that soundtrack and the movie too. 🙂
