Nick’s Famous Crab Sandwich

It’s been too long since hubby and I have visited Nick’s Seafood Restaurant in Rockaway Beach, Pacifica. I’m so hungry for the above sandwich. The best crab sandwich ever.

That sandwich looks delicious! We went out 2 weeks ago for Ivor’s birthday to a beach pub that gets freshly caught crab and fish every morning. We both had crab salad and it was out of this world!

Hmmm, it is probably great if you like crab. Mom won’t go near anything in the seafood category, not even tuna, but it leaves more for others to enjoy.
I don’t like oysters, but the rest is wonderful. Not everyone likes seafood. 🙂

I wish my mother were here and could have one of these. she loved crab, not matter how it came. she spent many happy hours holding a string with a chicken neck tied on it, scooping up crabs and putting them in a bucket. she and daddy ate the crabs, my brother and I had hotdogs. daddy would not eat hotdogs, so that was our chance for real food. ha ha
That makes two of us. Love crab in so many different ways. 🙂
I honestly don’t believe I have ever had a crab sandwich, but count me in!
I like seafood. I’ve had an alligator po-boy in New Orleans, a fresh halibut fish sandwich in Alaska, some crazy good crawfish in Charlston, SC and fresh scallops in Savannah, GA, but never a crab sandwich.
You’d love it. It’s their signature sandwich. So good. I’ll buy you one. 🙂
