WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.
For all the rule breakers, of which I am one, please feel free to add all the words you want.
Make sure you leave a link to your post and I’ll visit your Wordless Wednesday post.
The Great Lakes – Mackinac Island, Michigan
The five lakes collectively offer 11,000 miles of attraction-packed shoreline, and new small ship cruises are making it easier to explore. Highlights of the area include Michigan’s Mackinac Island, which opened two new hotels in 2019.
Linking up with a bunch of fantastic peeps from the blogosphere who host Wordless Wedne Ssday – Betty, Steve, image-in-ing, Zina, Keith, Cathy, Sara, CatSynth, Diana, and Suzana.

Biggest hugs. Love ya <3 <3 xoxo
You’re most welcome, Natasha. Big hugs and love back. 🙂
It looks a lovely place.
It sure does, Jackie. Happy Wordless Wednesday. 🙂
I have been there a couple of times. The bridge you drive over to get to it is as famous as the island. 🙂 Great place to spend some time.
I didn’t know that. It’s a great place to visit I’m sure. 🙂
It looks beautiful there what a nice capture
Have a shorelinetastic week and WWS 👍
It’s a beautiful place indeed. Have a great rest of the week, Steve. 🙂
It looks like a wonderful place for a vacation!
I’m sure it is, Miss Molly. 🙂
That is a super popular place but we have never gone there.
I know it’s popular. I would love to vacation there. 🙂
Nothing more beautiful than Waterfront!
I agree with you. Beautiful. 🙂
I had a chance to go there many years ago and turned it down, for a reason I can no longer remember. Now I know what it looks like! Alana ramblinwitham
Perhaps you can go in the future. 🙂
That looks like a very nice place.
It sure does. I would love to spend some time there. 🙂
That’s very pretty, at least in the Summer!
You’re right about that. I’ll bet it’s very cold in the winter. 🙂
Good morning, Sandee! Lovely view.
Have a blessed day.🤗
Very much so. You know how I love boats and water. 🙂
The Great Lakes offer a lot of boating opportunities, but they can be dangerous at times.
I know that for sure. Mother Nature can made for ugly seas. 🙂
That is such a beautiful area! My father’s side of the family is from Michigan and we used to go there for family reunions. Happy Wednesday! Hugs!
How fun. So beautiful and I would love to vacation there. 🙂
I could spend a week or two there. ❤️
That’s definitely a place we would like to visit someday. Happy Wednesday, Sandee. Hope all is well with you, Zane, and the family! 🙂
All is well with Zane and I. Got a huge piece of our remodel done. Waiting for the second part to get started. 🙂
It’s interesting to see places that have lakes and bodies of water nearby. We have to travel to see any large water places. We do have a small playa lake right by our house, though. The geese will be coming in for the winter from the northern areas soon. Looking forward to that.
Happy Wednesday! <3
I would look forward to the geese too. Same happens here. 🙂
A place I’d love to visit someday.
Happy Wednesday and thanks for hosting, Sandee.
Me too, Veronica. Happy Wednesday. You’re most welcome for the hosting. 🙂
You like so much the boats, that I wish you the perfect trip in a beautiful place.
As for me, I’ll admire you from long distance!
Happy WW, dear Sandee! Thank you for this blog hop. My link is open for two weeks,
We are avid boaters and would love being here. Happy WW, Suzana. 🙂
I went there many years ago and loved it. It’s beautiful there and so much fun to visit.
I can see that. Would love to vacation here. 🙂
Thanks for the view and review… Have a wonderful Wednesday, Sandee!
A very popular vacation spot. Happy Wednesday, Bette. 🙂
How gorgeous!! Michigan is such a beautiful state!
I’ve never been there, but I’ve love to visit. 🙂
one of these days I WILL get there! I’ve lived in Michigan 21 years and have yet to get there!!!
Goodness. If I were close I’ve visit as often as I could. 🙂
It’s a wonderful island to visit!
Did you know that no motorized vehicles are allowed (except when the President visited a few years ago).
You go on foot, on bicycle, or by horse-drawn carriages.
A lovely place to spend a few days!
Yes I know that and that’s one of the great things about this place. 🙂
That’s a nice place, Sandee, it brings up Summer in me😸Pawkisses for a Happy Day from all of us🐾😽💞
Pawkisses back. We love your new babies. 🙂
I could certainly vacation here.
We could meet you there. Fabulous place. 🙂
That looks like paradise. I love how clear the water is. Have a wonderful week!
I hear it’s a wonderful place to visit. 🙂
So very beautiful. I have friends who lived near there. Very nice.
I would love to vacation there. Happy day, Patrick. 🙂
Wow- gorgeous place! So many beautiful places on our planet! xoxo
Very true, Kathe. I would love to see all of them too. 🙂
Beautiful pic! I have a fascination for the water and ships. We are five hours from the Gulf of Mexico, which by no means is a beauty – but it has ships! LOL! Happy Wednesday!
Yes, we love boats very much. Ships are good too. 🙂
A view that leaves one speechless! Have a great day
A place I’ve always wanted to visit. 🙂
Look at that beautiful shoreline! Happy mid-week.
I want to go there. Happy mid-week to you and the pups. 🙂
It sure does look pretty there.
It sure does and I want to go. It’s not that far from you either. 🙂
It looks like a paradise, at least in the summer. Winter, i’m not so sure. Hugs!
Yes only in the summer. It’s a beautiful place. 🙂
I was in the UP about 25 yrs ago biking (and driving) and saw the island from afar. Read about it and decided it was too expensive for me but wanted to see it. Well, after driving over that bridge and nearly dying (I thought)?? Nope, I wanted to get away! But it was gorgeous even back then.
I would love to explore it for a day and then leave. I don’t care for expensive. 🙂
Absolutely delightful, so different from the little lakes in my WW this week!
All have their beauty though. 🙂
Lovely photo of a gorgeous place ~ sorry for my tardiness in commenting ~ little fur person is keeping me busy ~ love him ~ Xo

Little fur person needs your attention and that’s a good thing. Love and hugs to you both. 🙂
If I understand correctly, my husband spent family time as a child on this island. 😀 Hugs, my dear.
So lucky. I would love to visit here. Hugs back, my friend. 🙂
