Lovely photo of the Queen Mary. We sailed transatlantic on her once, but to be honest it was too formal for us with nearly every night being a formal night. We prefer Princess which still has some formal nights but not so regulated. We usually go to one and on any other formal nights go to one of the speciality restaurants where dress code is smart casual.

I’ve never been on a cruise and I wonder what it will be like. For now I will dream of the travel destinations I imagine them coming to my doorsteps. ;-))

Dreams in the times of Covid. 🙂

    How have you been Sandee?

Any short boat trips on the anvil?

Loads of love and light, sweetheart. xox

We’ve been on a couple cruises so far this year. We were going to go next weekend, but a heatwave is coming though. Too hot. We are doing fine here. You should try a cruise at some point. Some love it and some don’t. 🙂

She is a beauty! No chips for me I don’t fly or float but I would like to walk around on her while she was tied to a post

What a magnificent vessel! For a long time a European trip was on my bucket list, but given the current state of the world (covid, terrorism, etc.) I have pretty much lost the desire to travel abroad. I always wanted to see some of the stunning architecture.

What an amazing ship, and beautiful location! I’m always amazed at how things that are so big can float! 😉

Happy Wordless Wednesday, Sandee. Thank you for hosting!

  6. foguth says:

Er, Ms. Sandee, is that ship stuck?!?! It looks way too big for that river/canal or whatever sort of water it is in and I surely can see how it might be stuck, but not how it turn around!
Purrseidon, who also thinks that deck is way too high up to dive off of….

  7. Diana says:

It’s so big! Godzilla, compared to other ships, houses. 😊
    A beautiful, surreal image!

Have a fabulous day, Sandee! ❤️ Big hug!

We have a Queen Mary docked over in Long Beach. Used now for tourism and has a wonderful restaurant. I wish things were clear enough to go cruising. I was never into them but now… I can’t wait to get out and would love to be a passenger on anything right now.

Now isn’t that the truth! I saw what Steve said… “A City on a Ship”! Absolutely perfect because that’s what it looks like to me. I’ve never been on a ship…. nope, I lied! Yes, I have! I was on my brother’s ship that was still docked. He was in the Navy & I was only 14, and I made them show me and prove that it was still docked. hahaha I know I’m a fraidy cat! Anyway, were you ever on one of these or go somewhere on one? Did you get sick? OMG It looks like a small city that floats. So, for me nope don’t like boats.. I’ll go on the motor boats close to land. My brother has one and he has a summer home right on Lake Michigan. He retired there. Her’ really smart when it comes to fixing cars, and remodeling the house. He use to make phony mountains… you know the kind that’s miniature golf or he did one inside a restaurant and it was a water-fall, and soon as he did that he put one in his backyard waterfall. It was so cool. He’s not my real brother… step-brother if you will, but he’s a helleva nice guy (nicer than his father never really got along with him) guess my dad comes first. My dad passed away at 57 of Lung Cancer. He smoked up a storm. I’m the only one left of our family. My real brother died at 44 of Cancer too. My Mom was 84 thank God and she died in her sleep, God bless her. I miss her a lot. Anyway Ms. Lovely, you have a wonderful day, and let me know when you do the exciting stuff and send me pics… so I can feel like I went there too! Love you my lil’ sis! Love you big time! HUGS & SMOOCHES…. me P.S. A big hello to you & the hubby from me and my hubby. Oh hubby got me a bouquet of roses and the kids got me flowers too… I’ll put a picture up next Wednesday of them they’re gorgeous and smell diving for my birthday last Sunday and hubby and I went to a Chinese buffet place. LOVE CHINESE FOOD!!!! Kids got me flowers too (an assortment), and my eldest daughter and 2 grandchildren took me too Portillos and I had my “Garbage Salad” is what they call it and the dressing is great and the Italian bread is made right there. mmmmmmmm OKAY NOW I’M HUNGRY! hahaha Love you my sista from anotha mutha!!!! HUGS & SMOOCHES!

Yes, hubby and I have been on cruises. We went from San Diego to Hawaii. We’ve also been to the Caribbean. They are big cities on the water. We prefer our own boat than these big ships. Love you bunches. 🙂

  10. The OP Pack says:

How beautiful!!! If it weren’t for the coronavirus, Mom would love to be on a cruise – so much fun and delicious food!!!

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

    • Sandee says:

I get food fatigue on these cruise ships. Everything starts to taste the same. I like our little boat far better. The virus doesn’t hurt us any one bit when we’re on our own boat. 🙂

  11. Marv, Jo Jo, Kozmo, Cinnamon and Barb says:

Thanks for the great shot! My Son is glad the cruises are starting up. He does cruise ship refits and heads out to his first job since February last year at the end of this month. He got his 2nd shot last week. Many companies are short on qualified people who have had both. I would love to go to some of the places he had had the opportunity to visit.

  12. Crystal says:

Sandee, so sorry about being a stranger but with getting covid and going to caregiver, I don’t have as much time. Hope to be back soon but unsure when.
Love the picture of the boat. So big, beautiful and colorful

  13. darlamsands says:

Nice image! my interest in big cruise liners has waxed and waned over the years. Taking a short cruise on your boat would be a blast, I bet. ~hugs~ Be well, my dear.
