I've been there. It was a long time ago, back in the early 80's. I only remember the huge hike to get there.
I would guess a hike is about the only way to get into this place for the public that is. I would love to see it though. 🙂
It looks like a Disney movie. It's so beautiful.
Have a great Wednesday Sandee & Zane. See ya my friends.

In some countries castles are part of their history. Here not so much. 🙂
I've been there – it was like a fairy tale castle. Have a great day!
I would love to see a fairy tale castle. 🙂
That would be a magical place to visit.
I've never been in a castle and this one looks like a fun one to explore. 🙂
It looks like a castle in fairy land. What a wonderful place to visit!
I agree Nancy. Let's go. 🙂
You find the most enchanting pictures.
I just look for places I've visited or places that I would love to visit. 🙂
With those steep hills and all that snow, how would you get to it?
I'd go in the summertime. Not when it's snowing. It appears you hike in. 🙂
It's beautiful, but like all castles, it wouldn't be nice to actually live there. Cold and damp places, castles are!
The winters would be something else wouldn't they. Can you imagine how much it would cost to heat this place. 🙂
The most picturesque castle!
It sure is Binky. 🙂
It's beautiful.
Wouldn't it be fun to spend the day there and explore all the rooms. 🙂
ah yes indeed! Up in PDX this week for my son's surgery…thanks for all your good thoughts and prayers. xoxo big hugs!
I send you good thoughts and prayers every single day. Will continue to do so. Big hugs back. 🙂
It is still so hot here today. I have dreams like this of snowy castles. Thanks for sharing 🙂
I feel for you. It's cooling down here finally. I hope it does for you soon too. 🙂
That looks magical.
It does indeed Ellen. 🙂
I agree with Ellen, that looks soooooooooooo magical!!!!! Just gorgeous!! Sending much love! xoxo catchatwithcarenandcody
It sure does and I'd love to explore this cool looking castle. 🙂
Wow! That's so beautiful it doesn't look real! What a beautiful place!
Hope you're having a good week Sandee! We're halfway to the weekend!
I'm having a great week Sharla. I hope you are too. 🙂
I think I heard somewhere that this is THE most photographed castle ever! I used to work in a jigsaw puzzle store, and we had so many jigsaw puzzles of this lovely castle. Some people would do the puzzle, glue it and then have it laminated and put it up on their wall. Beautiful image, Sandee! And thank you so much for adding my blog link to your Monday post, I really appreciate your kindness. Hugs to you, dear friend, and I hope you are having a great week. 🙂
I didn't know this, but I can see why it is the most photographed. It's breathtakingly beautiful.
You're most welcome for the link. You post to most Awww things. 🙂
I love to see the pictures. I wouldn't be adverse to a visit.
Let's go at the same time. 🙂
We've been to many of the castles in Germany. I don't know if this was one of them. I'll have to check family photos. This one looks like it's straight out of a fairy tale.. I'd love to know the history.. Great pic Sandee.
Germany is one country I'd love to visit. Hubby was stationed there when he was in the army. 🙂
Absolutely gorgeous! Now, there's a place I'd like to visit myself. I'm sorry I'm so late. I just got a new computer and I couldn't be happier. I couldn't blog well on my IPad. It's great to be back. I'm not sure how well my WW turned out this Wednesday, but I'll get used to it.
Simon and I are sending "Big hugs" to you!
Way to go on a new computer. It's something that needs doing from time to time. You'll be so happy for a very long time.
Big hugs to you and Simon. 🙂
Thanks, buddy and thank you for addiing my link. You''re a great friend. 🙂
You're most welcome Annie. 🙂
Dick and I have been twice. We love this castle. I would go back again.
Big hugs, honey…
As much as the two of you travel I'm not surprised that you've been here before. 🙂
Chelsey 10/10/2016
Yes! That's high up on my list too 🙂
It would be a wonderful place to visit. 🙂
