I've been there. It was a long time ago, back in the early 80's. I only remember the huge hike to get there.

    • October 5, 2016 at 3:09 pm

I would guess a hike is about the only way to get into this place for the public that is. I would love to see it though. πŸ™‚

It looks like a Disney movie. It's so beautiful.

Have a great Wednesday Sandee & Zane. See ya my friends.

In some countries castles are part of their history. Here not so much. πŸ™‚

  3. October 5, 2016 at 5:58 am

I've been there – it was like a fairy tale castle. Have a great day!

I've never been in a castle and this one looks like a fun one to explore. πŸ™‚

  7. October 5, 2016 at 9:11 am

With those steep hills and all that snow, how would you get to it?

    • October 5, 2016 at 3:12 pm

I'd go in the summertime. Not when it's snowing. It appears you hike in. πŸ™‚

  8. October 5, 2016 at 12:56 pm

It's beautiful, but like all castles, it wouldn't be nice to actually live there. Cold and damp places, castles are!

    • October 5, 2016 at 3:13 pm

The winters would be something else wouldn't they. Can you imagine how much it would cost to heat this place. πŸ™‚

  16. October 5, 2016 at 6:48 pm

I think I heard somewhere that this is THE most photographed castle ever! I used to work in a jigsaw puzzle store, and we had so many jigsaw puzzles of this lovely castle. Some people would do the puzzle, glue it and then have it laminated and put it up on their wall. Beautiful image, Sandee! And thank you so much for adding my blog link to your Monday post, I really appreciate your kindness. Hugs to you, dear friend, and I hope you are having a great week. πŸ™‚

    • October 6, 2016 at 7:18 am

I didn't know this, but I can see why it is the most photographed. It's breathtakingly beautiful.

You're most welcome for the link. You post to most Awww things. πŸ™‚

  17. October 6, 2016 at 4:07 am

  18. October 6, 2016 at 9:27 am

We've been to many of the castles in Germany. I don't know if this was one of them. I'll have to check family photos. This one looks like it's straight out of a fairy tale.. I'd love to know the history.. Great pic Sandee.

    • October 6, 2016 at 9:30 am

Germany is one country I'd love to visit. Hubby was stationed there when he was in the army. πŸ™‚

  19. October 6, 2016 at 5:33 pm

Absolutely gorgeous! Now, there's a place I'd like to visit myself. I'm sorry I'm so late. I just got a new computer and I couldn't be happier. I couldn't blog well on my IPad. It's great to be back. I'm not sure how well my WW turned out this Wednesday, but I'll get used to it.

Simon and I are sending "Big hugs" to you!

    • October 7, 2016 at 6:52 am

Way to go on a new computer. It's something that needs doing from time to time. You'll be so happy for a very long time.

Big hugs to you and Simon. πŸ™‚
