Wordless Wednesday

WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.

For all the rule breakers, of which I am one, please feel free to add all the words you want.

I thought I recognised the beauty and serenity of this photo so clicked on it and I was right.
A few years ago we were on a cruise in the Baltics. One evening leaving Sweden we sailed back through the Stockholm archipelago which consists of over 30,000 islands and rocks. The ship has to sail very slowly to avoid wash as some of the islands are very small, some even only having one or two houses on them.
We decided it was too beautiful to miss so grabbed some food from the buffet to take down to our balcony and sat there through the night with our gin and tonics.
It was during June so never got beyond dusk. A truly wonderful evening.

Serenety and stillness is what we felt when we saw the picture and two beautiful swans and a guardian duck, who bringing a peaceful message. How wonderful, Sandee💗Clean Pawkisses for a Happy Wednesday. Stay Safe Healthy and Yourselfie🙏🐾😽💞

Ohhhhh such a peaceful photo. Swans are so very graceful…but man o man a man I used to work with as chased by two when he was on a trail around a lake. They are quite territorial
MOL I have a mallard photo today too.
    Hugs Cecilia

I miss looking at water! We are very close to a couple of large rivers and Lake St. Clair, but with all parks having closed their bathrooms, we cannot visit without having to turn around right away! We only travel as far as our bladders will take us.

Meowser Ms. Sandee! those are beautiful birds! Brofur Kosmo sends photos of his migratory swans every spring, when they arrive, but none of his photos are as beautiful as this…. Please don’t tell him I meowed that!

Oh wow. That’s so peaceful. IN my mind, I imagine it’s so still and quiet that you can those swans and that duck as they move through that water. Have a wonderful Wordless Wednesday, Sandee. And thanks, as always, for hosting. 🙂

  7. DrillerAA says:

Beautiful image, but I can’t help but think that the duck is looking at the swans and saying to himself, “I want to be one of those when I grow up.” Have a wonderful wordless Wednesday.”

I love swans. We have some over by the Fox River once in a while. I’m only about 8 blocks from there, so we go there in the Spring a lot (less bugs-I hate bugs)! When we drive all the way down our street until you cannot go anymore the river is what stops you and on that very last street/corner there are always dozens of ducks, geese, oh my gosh they’re everywhere, so we have to beep to get by and once you beep it’s quack, quack, honk, honk everywhere sometimes it gets really loud. hahahaha But cute! Have a nice day my lovely… yesterday was beautiful and today is rainy, damp and cold. YUK! Stayin’ in today! HUGS & YOU TAKE CARE OF YOU FOR ME! LUV YA BABES…. I hope the time goes by quicker so you can be out on your boat. I know how much you love it. HUGS

I am stopping by from A to Z challenge. I have not done a lot of looking at other peoples blogs this iteration because of my work schedule, sleep schedule and laziness schedule. I am very glad that someone is still doing a Wordless Wednesday hop. I pinned your blog on one of my blogs and may pop in next week, if my laziness schedule allows. Priorities, People!

    • Sandee says:

Would love to have you join in on the Wordless Wednesday fun. I can write a book on being lazy, but that would require work. I don’t do work very well. 🙂

    • Sandee says:

You have a great attitude, Miss Ruby. Yes birds do have attitudes, but they are sure fun to watch. We are healthy and doing well. Kisses back, Miss Ruby. 🙂
