No matter how much Jell-O you put in a swimming pool you still can’t walk on water.
Pool filters do not like Jell-O.
VCR’s do not eject “PB&J” sandwiches even though TV commercials show they do.
Garbage bags do not make good parachutes.
Marbles in gas tanks make lots of noise when driving.
You probably DO NOT want to know what that odor is.
Always look in the oven before you turn it on; plastic toys do not like ovens.
The fire department in Austin, Texas has a 5-minute response time.
The spin cycle on the washing machine does not make earthworms dizzy.
It will, however, make cats dizzy.
Cats throw up twice their body weight when dizzy.

umm… Cats are capable of throwing up twice their body weight even when thay are NOT dizzy. srsly.
Have a lovely day, hon! xoxo
Yep, I so remember. Bless their hearts. 🙂
The one about NOT wanting to know what that odor is, is very true. There have been things that even once I found the source I still didn't know what they were
I so remember Ann. I so remember. 🙂
Kids are really silly people but adults can be just as stupid or even worse when they're drunk.
Have a cool ( I doubt that you'll have cool ) Saturday Sandee. See ya my friend.
Cruisin Paul
This is true Paul. Drunk adults are far worse.
We're going to have another heatwave starting Wednesday. Oh joy. 🙂
Love the one about the jello is hysterical. Big picture of a swimming pool full of jello. Sandee, you and Zane and Little Bit have a great day.
Oh the jello has been done so many times. So many times. 🙂
and I am sure there are more for them to teach us! Have a wonderful weekend all three of you!
I'm sure you're right Kathe. Just when we think we've seen it all they come up with something new. 🙂
Haha! I liked these especially pools and Jell-o and garbage bags
Have an odourlesstastic day Sandee :-h
My son tried the garbage bag one. Among other things. 🙂
Great list. My kids also don't think much of garbage bags as parachutes. On the other hand, they did discover that when they're full, they make outstanding trampolines.
They don't work very well at all do they. 🙂
My husband said he had a friend once who accidentally put her cat in the dryer…they figured it out in time and rushed the cat to the vet. I think it was just a little banged up and really dehydrated, but okay.
Poor cat. I'm glad it survived. 🙂
No you really, really do not want to know what that odor is…. It's better that way 🙂
No, I really don't want to know what the odor is. 🙂
When cats share your home, never use fingers to pick up small, dark objects. True dat.
Have a fab weekend. Lotsa scritches to LB. Big hugs to you and Zane, honey…
Amen to that honey. Amen to that. 🙂
Only two people have ever walked on water—one really did it while the other, Barack Obama did it only in the minds of simpletons who will believe anything!
I'm not an Obama fan and never have been. He could have united this country and he did the opposite. 🙁
In our rush to elect a black, we elected the wrong one. We could make the same mistake for the first female.
Hillary is much more corrupt than Bill. You are probably right on the money here. I've watched so many things Hillary has done both during Bill's residency and beyond. 🙂
Kismet is spot on with that comment. A candidate's race or gender is a pi$$poor reason to vote them into office.
You're right cube. Now it's going to play out again with another poor pick. Hillary because she's a woman. She was second place with the democrats in 2007. Good grief people. 🙁
I hope she continues to tank in the polls. If the white house sanctioned criminal investigation does indeed begin, it might propel her numbers into the toilet.
This set of teachings comes awfully close to my house and that of our parents. As I kid, I jumped off my parents' roof just to see if I could roll into the fall like they do in the movies. Using a garbage bag would've been silly 😉
Yes, it would have been silly. I did the jump off the roof too. It didn't work out well. I didn't break anything, but I did mess up and ankle pretty badly. Didn't try that again. 🙂
Don't worry about any recurrence. One jump off the roof ended my fascination with jumping off the roof. I didn't hurt myself and I gained the admiration of my friends who were afraid to jump. That was good enough for me.
OMG.. the plastic toys in the oven is classic! I melted more nerf pellets back in the day!
Our poor mothers put up with so much. My son wasn't half as bad as I was. 🙂
Despite all the mess is there anyone who doesn't like children and their pranks?
Have a great day!
I love children and their antics. A. Lot. 🙂
Cats throw up on a regular basis, usually due to hairballs. 🙂 Oh, and in response to your kind comment on my today's blog post, I love to walk, usually nature walks, and I enjoy my long walks. I am hoping my sleep issues is just a phase that will pass. Thank you so much for all you share, Sandee, and I hope your weekend is great. 🙂
I so remember the cat throw up. Yes because of hairballs. You're most welcome. I've had my share of trying to sleep too. Not anymore, but I did in the past. 🙂
You also can't fly like Mary Poppins with an umbrella by jumping off the roof, even if you stand with your feet in the right position. A friend of mine found that out when she was about 7.
Oh goodness. That would have been frightful. 🙂
LOL – especially those last few. Poor kitty.
Yep, poor kitty indeed Rhonda. 🙂
But kids are so lovely!!! specially when they are quiet and sleeping 🙂 hahaha!!!
They are indeed, but at times they are most challenging. 🙂
You need to use much bigger garbage bags.
So that's the secret. Who knew. 🙂
