It’s Wednesday so that means it’s question time. It’s time to ponder and then answer just one question. Okay, you can add all you want as a reason for your answer too. We’d all like that.
So here’s this weeks question: What is one of the things you want to do when the weather warms up?
More boating. There is nothing worse than boat cold. You’ve not lived until the electricity goes out and you’re on your boat in the dead of winter. I want to go on a cruise wearing shorts, t-shirt and flip flops and be warm.
I would be happy just to go out without a coat on LOL I do love a flip flop g-)

I don't have anything in particular I'm looking forward to doing although like Steve going out without a coat (and all the extra layers) sure would be nice
I can relate to that. It's spring weather here right now. The blossoms are out on the almond trees. 🙂
When your weather warms us, ours cools down, so I will be thinking about travel to the Northern Hemisphere.

Cruise!! We don't have anything like what my sisters are getting in the Boston area, but it is freezing here and I don't like it. We have a hard freezw watch again. Hoping the pipes don't freeze again. Ack. Hate it.

When it really gets warm and the sun is bright in the sky I want to ride in my Cameo, bumble bee but that won't happen until all that darn snow is gone. My Cameo has never felt snow and won't feel it now.

Going on day trips. I refuse to do them in my snowy climate November through March.
I hear you. When you have to shovel the vehicle out to go somewhere that would be all that fun. 🙂
We have not had any winter so I am doing mostly what I like all this year, working in the yard soaking up the sunshine

Start taking daily walks!! The sub zero temps in Michigan makes the idea of walking not something that I would like to do.
I'll be doing that soon too. I love a long walk when it's warm out. 🙂
Golf and then the beach!
Boating if I could afford it. The second best part of sailing is after being out all day, dropping anchor and having a gin and tonic. The best part is having a second gin and tonic.
Yep, we do the same thing, but in a power boat. It's grand fun. 🙂

Have you been?
Yes, twice. We flew over in the 80s for a 10 day stay (Maui and Kauai) and we went on cruise from San Diego to different ports and islands in Hawaii. Kauai is our favorite island. Then we cruise back from Hawaii to Mexico and then back to San Diego. It was a 16 day cruise from start to finish. 🙂
Boats are great when it's reasonably warm. We've been on some Whale Watches when it has been bone-chillingly cold on Cape Cod.
As far as what I want to do when it warms up… lying out by our pool, basking in the Florida sun with a good book and a cold adult beverage at my side.
Yep, we call that boat cold and it's COLD! I love your idea of basking by the pool with a cold adult beverage. 🙂
I live in Arizona and it is gorgeous right now so we try to spend as much time outdoors as we can!
We have some friends that live in Arizona in the winter and here during the summer. They live the good life year around. 🙂
Put my flip flops back on! My toesies wanna be exposed, not covered up in socks…even cute ones. And sit in our patio and sip wine. WYWH!

Get out in the garden- maybe tomorrow! Need to turn over dirt and work in some compost and chicken manure! But your idea sounds like more fun and less work!!

Dear Sandee, I want to take my dog for a walk. I feel so bad for him. He loves his walks and it has been soooo cold and icy here and not walking weather.

Come to think of it, we are. Flying too. To London, Nice (France), boat from London to Norway for a one week cruise over and up the Norway coast, and back. Could be more after but I doubt it. But we don't have coming home air booked yet. b-(

Wash my car!!! Poor thing is supposed to be beautiful champagne gold. It is now winter SALT gray. Yuck, yuck and yuck! I can almost hear the rust starting.
And the second thing would be enjoy my new deck!

It's been nice here but the rains will return so when it's warmer and dry, I want to go hiking more! It's not the same without Sadie but I remember her every step of the way!

I don’t want it to warm up. It’s perfect right now! It’s 84 degrees on April 1st with a light breeze. It changes so quickly. We’ll probably hit the 100s by the end of the month.
