Last Wednesday morning hubby and I packed the SUV and headed toward South Lake Tahoe to meet up with the Traveling Bells. They hail from Georgia and have traveled much of the world.
I’ve known Sandy since around 2006 (blogging buddy), and we met her and her husband on a Carnival Bloggers Cruise in February of 2011. When she told us they were going to be in South Lake Tahoe we were in.
We arrived at their Moho mid-afternoon and had a glass of champagne after some hugs and then I got to pet the kitties. Missy was more interested in napping, but KC loved being scratched. Both of them are adorable. We made plans for dinner at seven and hubby and I were off to Harrah’s to check in and get settled.
We met Dick and Sandy in the hotel lobby and went to the Forest Buffet on the 18th floor for dinner.

We spent a great deal of time catching up and then it was time for pictures and calling it a day. I’m so happy that we got to celebrate our birthdays by reconnecting with good friends. Blogging has been so wonderful for me because I’ve met so many bloggers. When you get to see each other again it’s even more special. Thanks for the birthday gifts and the wonderful dinner Dick and Sandy. We love you both.

I figured you ground the both of them. You need to be nicer to Seymour though. He took a beating because of Element, Julia and Mary Granite. They took him for a horrible ride. 🙂
We used to live in South Lake Tahoe (on the Nevada side). It is so beautiful there. I am glad you got to meet up with other blogging buddies. You two are awesome.
It is indeed beautiful there. We spent Thursday visiting Carson City and Virginia City. Lovely day. 🙂

I'm so happy that you were able to beet Sandy and Dick and had a tremendous dinner and evening. I meet Sandy on the Breeze on Carnival Bloggers Cruise in February of 2012. I wish I could have met you at the same time Sandee. I was there and took a photo of Sandy with Bee when we all had our black shirts. I think it was our last day at sea. That was a great cruise with John Heald.

Never have been to Tahoe, but have been to Vegas many times and always enjoyed my time there—yep, I love the gaming tables and the slots. So did my wife!
Vegas is huge compared to Tahoe. It's still fun though. The draw for us is the lake. 🙂
Sandee, what lovely photos! I think it is great to be able to meet a fellow blogger! I have a fellow Facebook and blogging friend who lives in Ireland, and we have been online friends since 2002!!! No, we have never met, but she and I have been having online Skype video chats weekly for the past several months and I feel as though I have met her! I just don't have the money to travel (and neither does my friend), but we feel happy and blessed that we can communicate via Skype, so it is like sharing a cup of tea with each other. It is great.
I am so happy for you that you got to do this, I think it is fantastic!
