Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

I’m thankful for each new challenge, because it will build my strength and character.

I’m thankful for my mistakes. They will teach me valuable lessons.

“A beautiful day begins with a beautiful mindset. When you wake up, take a second to think about what a privilege it is to simply be alive and healthy. The moment you start acting like life is a blessing, I assure you it will start to feel like one. Time spent appreciating is time worth living.” Author Unknown

What are you thankful for today?

That is so true about a beautiful mindset. I was just talking about this with someone the other day. I’m thankful that I’ve finally learned this after too many years of just not getting it.

So True My Friend. I thought I lost you for my silly mistakes. Life presents reality and I’m so glad that we are back together. See ya Sandee.

    Sandee,

Beautiful said and profoundly true. Words lost on the young and relished by the mature. I’m filled with deep gratitude for my health. The Lord is indeed good to me. Thanks for sharing, my dear!

I’m healthy too for looking at 70. It’s all good. Have a great day, Cathy. Enjoy your long weekend with hubby. 🙂

I am thankful to have been born when and where I was. ~nods~ Love those swans! And the quote about the brain as an app is brilliant. Hugs to you, my dear, from across the miles. Take care!

Yes, that’s the first thing I do each morning. Smile and embrace the day. Kisses to all three of you cutie pies. 🙂

What a great angle for Thankful Thursday. Most people would prefer to correct their past mistakes. But each of those experiences make us who we are today. Excellent choice. xoxo

Oh m y gosh, I’m sooooooooooooo sorry I’m so late. You have no idea what I’ve been through the last couple of days! Between my daughter, 2 of my granddaughters and one great granddaughter (but she’s not a problem) everyone wanted to go Christmas shopping today. NEVER EVER GO CHRISTMAS SHOPPING WITH YOUR DAUGHTER AND A COUPLE OF GRANDDAUGHTERS you will not get anything done… I swear!!! hahahaha All in all it was my great granddaughter that kept my sanity! hahaha HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND MY FRIEND! Hugs….

    • Sandee says:

I try to avoid shopping with the younger set. I don’t have that kind of energy anymore. Rest and know that I love you. 🙂

I am glad that we have the opportunity to appreciate and to learn from our mistakes and not to keep on repeating the same mistakes. I am also thankful for those who are not quick to judge us when we made mistakes.

That is a perfect reminder for all of us. Wish my hands still worked well enough to do cross-stitch, as I would definitely put that quote on the wall. Hugs from me and kitty kisses from Sawyer and Cooper Murphy, Janet

I’ve definitely become more thankful for the challenges I’ve faced and the mistakes I’ve made throughout life. Though it may have been hard dealing with them in the moment, I’ve definitely learned and grown so much because of them.
