It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Today I’m thankful for all the things that summer brings. It won’t be long and the nights will turn chilly and autumn will creep into our world. I’m not ready for that yet.
What are you thankful for today?

I’m not ready for it either. I really do love all things fall but I know that it means winter is coming real soon and that just makes me sad.
You like winter as much as I do. Not. At. All. 🙂
I don’t want autumn to arrive either. One more reason to enjoy summer while it lasts.
I love the fair weather months. 🙂
I’m good with autumn. Like my four seasons.
Many do enjoy all the seasons. I love them all but winter I could kick to the curb. 🙂
We are thankful our summer has been cool, and we already have nights in the 50’s, ideal for sleeping. Some like it hot, some do not, and we do not. Enjoy the rest of your summer.
Lucky you. I don’t mind cool. It’s the cold that I don’t like. 🙂
Wow, look at that yummy ice cream cone. I won’t mind a little cooler weather but not looking forward to winter. Sandee, you and Zane have one super day.
My granddaughter loves the cold weather. I don’t one bit. You have a super day too, Marg. 🙂
We are wishing for autumn with every fiber of our being! We are so sick of this hot and humid weather! That rainbow ice cream cone sure does look yummy☺
Hot is one thing, but when you add the humidity it’s unbearable. I visited Texas one summer. Yikes. 🙂
We’re sure not ready for the brrrrr humbug either, we do like warm. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
I’m not a fan of cold weather. Not one bit. Thanks for co-hosting Thankful Thursday. 🙂
I love summer, even the heat when it means we can be chill on our days and nights. Some rain right now would definitely be nice though.
Have a great one!
Yes on the rain and if the temperature never got over 90 I would be happy to have that all year long. Need the rain and I’ll opt for rain at night. 🙂
I can’t wait for fall. It just doesn’t last long enough before Old Man Winter whips in.
I don’t care for old man winter. 🙂
Spoken by someone who doesn’t live in Arizona.
I know it’s hot there, Kismet. I wouldn’t like it that hot. 🙂
Same here! Summers always fly by and winters drag on and on. We love hanging out on the back deck, especially, watching the birds, chipmunks and squirrels. Have a happy rest of the summer, Sandee!
Yes, winters do drag on and on. I’m a fair weather kind of gal. 🙂
I am Thankful for many things but I love that Fall is coming.
Spring and fall are nice, but with fall I know winter is coming. 🙂
If I had the money and the courage I would seek out someplace that had 80-90 degree temps with low humidity to live year round and not just for 3 months.
I hear you, Jan. I would do the same. Perfect weather. It can rain at night to keep things green. 🙂
Enjoy all the special things summer has to offer.
I do too and all the great weather to get out and about. Especially boating. 🙂
I’m grateful for all yummy things that will cool me off during our hot summer. Happy Thursday!
Me too. Like ice cream. Happy Thursday, Eugenia. 🙂
Nice photos. Summer is my least favorite, but it does have good things like fresh veggies 🙂 Have a great day! XO
Yes it does and all the fresh fruit too. You have a great day too, Ellen. 🙂
I don’t think too many people are ready for summer to leave, as it seems it has just arrived, at least to me!
I’m sure not ready for summer to end, but it’s about to. 🙂
Hi Sandee, I really want a colourful beach chair like the one in your photo now! That is so jolly. Not so sure about the ice cream though. Right now I have to admit that I am looking forward to the temperatures dropping, if only a little bit. It’s been a long hot summer… My sister and her family left today and as sad as I am I am grateful they were able to come for two weeks. Who knows when we will see them again?
I’m glad you had a nice visit with your sister and family. That’s wonderful. Enjoy your quiet time now that everyone is gone. 🙂
Such cheerful summer things to be thankful for!
I thought so too, my friend. 🙂
Summertime and the living’s easy … smile.
Yes indeed. I agree with you. 🙂
Summer is indeed a wonderful season!
It sure is, Kathe. I love summer. 🙂
oooh lovely summery colors! Not looking forward to winter, but autumn is my favorite season.
Enjoy your summer days while you can! <3
Spring is my favorite season. I enjoy parts of all the seasons though. 🙂
I’m just the opposite…I am thankful that autumn SOON will be creeping into our world!!!!! Love you! xoxoxo
Many love fall. I do enjoy the cooler weather for sure. Love you too. 🙂
I spent a good chunk of my day today at the zoo…that’s surely a summertime treat!
Yes it is. Good for you. 🙂
That’s a luscious looking summer Sandee! Very nice! <3
We are on our boat right now and it’s hot. I still love summer. 🙂
While i am not ready for winter, i am ready for the heat to break. Long live autumn!
I hear you. It’s 101 degrees right now. 🙂
Thankful for the summertime!
Me too, Bette. I was hot yesterday though. Hope it’s cooler today. Off on a cruise to a yacht club. 🙂
Enjoy your journey, Sandee… 70s and low humidity here in Maine today with predictions for more of this sensational summer weather. 🙂
I am thankful that FALL is almost here…..yippee…..
I love fall too, but right behind fall is old man winter. 🙂
Autumn is my favorite time of year, and with the really hot temperatures we have had this summer, I am looking forward to it. I have really been wanting ice cream, though, and that photo you posted reminded me. Hugs, Janet and purrs from the boys.
I hope you and yours have the best autumn ever. Hug to you and lots of lovies and scritches to the boys. 🙂
Oh My Goodness, I love the colorful share you have. I am learning to get this straight. I am all ready for Feline zfriday too. The photo I accidentally put on Thankful Thursday belongs there. You know I mean well. Have a great weekend. HUGS xo
I can’t remove that one, because it belongs to Brian, but I know how to put it on Feline Friday. I’ll do just that. Hugs back, my friend. 🙂
I want the ice creams because it is hot here. I can only wish for moderate rain because we don’t have the four seasons.
Ice cream is always a treat. We have four seasons here, but winter and summer and the most profound. 🙂
We don’t get a lot of chilly weather here, and for that, I am grateful!
I know you don’t. You get a lot of hot though. Happy Friday. 🙂
I am not ready for summer to be over yet either! We’re headed into a bout of very fall-like weather now though. I hope summer makes a reappearance still though!
It was 101 yesterday and it going to be in the 90s all weekend. Near 100 on Monday. 🙂
Beautiful photos and post of the treasures of summer ~ ^^ ~ Xox from me and Zoe ~ ^^
Happy Day to You,

Yes indeed. Summer has its own wonderfulness. Happy day to you and Ms. Zoe. 🙂
I would be thankful for summer about now. I have had enough of the rain down under.
Soon, I’d ship you some of this awful heat if I could. It’s way to hot. 🙂
