Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week.

Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

Today I’m thankful that hubby and I have been married for 19 years. It’s our second time around and this time we got it right. When we got together in the mid 90s we were both in such debt. We had been married to folks that couldn’t/wouldn’t manage money.

I’m thankful that hubby and I paid off all those debts and then purchased our home.

I’m thankful that we finally have vehicles that are dependable after years of praying what we had would get us back and forth to work.

I’m thankful that this month hubby and I are debt free. I’ve been debt free long ago, but for hubby this is the very first time in his adult life. It’s a blessing.

What are you thankful for today?

Debt free is a good feeling. I’m half way there since I still have a car payment but when that’s paid off it will just be monthly bills.
Way to go on 19 years.

That is awesome, and being debt free is such a relief. Mom got into bad debt years ago. She has been debt free for years now too, and it is a great feeling. Of course, there is the mortgage, but no loans, credit card balances or that kind of thing. Debt or no debt can really change life. Good for you and your hubby.

We pay our credit card off each month. I’ve not paid interest on a credit card in years and year. We are happy here. 🙂

Congrats on 19 Years and on being debt free!! Hubby and I are almost midway between 25 and 26 years. And with the exception of a small amount on our one account – which hopefully will get paid next week – we are debt free as well.

Many do work on getting out of debt. It’s a good thing. I’ve seen so many mismanage their money. So sad. 🙂

I love you too, honey. I’ve known you for over 40 years, and am so happy we found our way to the alter. Now we’re debt free. 🙂

Looks like we’ll pay off our mortgage just about the time that I retire. Wish I could retire right NOW, but patience, grasshopper! Congrats on your wedding anniversary.

That’s a whole lot of good reasons to be thankful. Congrats on 19 years together. Mom and Dad will hit 48 years this summer!!!

Congratulations of 19 years of marriage and on being debt free… Dan and I have been debt-free for more than 40 decades—that is a blessing we are so thankful for each day and we’re oh so thankful for so many years to spend together. Today, he came home from the grocery store with a dozen red roses for me for Mother’s Day–the fourth time he has splurged on such frivolity over the years. Thankful that he did such a beautiful thing for me today! <3 xo

It is good to be debt free and without the stress of trying to pay off the debt. Good to know that you and hubby have wonderful and beautiful 19 years together. May you and your hubby continue to enjoy many, many more beautiful years to come.

Being debt free is wonderful (not that I would know from personal experience, LOL)! But having a happy marriage is priceless (that I do know from personal experience!!).
