It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week.
Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Today I’m thankful that hubby and I have been married for 19 years. It’s our second time around and this time we got it right. When we got together in the mid 90s we were both in such debt. We had been married to folks that couldn’t/wouldn’t manage money.
I’m thankful that hubby and I paid off all those debts and then purchased our home.
I’m thankful that we finally have vehicles that are dependable after years of praying what we had would get us back and forth to work.
I’m thankful that this month hubby and I are debt free. I’ve been debt free long ago, but for hubby this is the very first time in his adult life. It’s a blessing.
What are you thankful for today?
Congratulations on being married 19 years!
Thank you so very much. I’m a lucky gal. 🙂
Debt free is a good feeling. I’m half way there since I still have a car payment but when that’s paid off it will just be monthly bills.
Way to go on 19 years.
Debt free is a very good thing. We like it. 🙂
Wow! Awesome on being married for 19 years!
It’s been a wonderful 19 years too. 🙂
That is awesome, and being debt free is such a relief. Mom got into bad debt years ago. She has been debt free for years now too, and it is a great feeling. Of course, there is the mortgage, but no loans, credit card balances or that kind of thing. Debt or no debt can really change life. Good for you and your hubby.
We pay our credit card off each month. I’ve not paid interest on a credit card in years and year. We are happy here. 🙂
Debt will grind you down, car problems too, but a bad marriage is even worse.
I had to read this to hubby. He agrees with you. So do I. 🙂
Both I and the pet rock are thankful that your story has the path it does. Congratulations!
I love you Seymour. Always have and always will. I like your dad too. 🙂
Yay for Sandee and Zane, being married for 19 years. You two are just the best. Both of you have a wonderful day.
We love you too, Marg. You’re a peach. Scritches to the kitties and the donkeys. 🙂
Sandee, I thankful everyday for Mary Lou, my wife, my children, my friends of which you are included Sandee and I’m thankful for my Camero which I always wanted. We are debt free thank the Lord. Most of all I’m thankful to God for my life. See ya
Cruisin Paul
We are both very lucky, Paul. We know it too. Good for us. 🙂
Hooray for debt free and married to the right person! Hoping you both have a fabulous day.
It was good to come out of the dark time and into the light. 🙂
Congratulations guys, that is EPICALLY EPIC!!! WOOOOO HOOOOOOO!!!! Have a fab day!!
It is indeed. We are doing the happy dance for so many reasons. 🙂
Happy Anniversary and congrats on being debt free, those are wonderful thankful things! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Congrats on 19 Years and on being debt free!! Hubby and I are almost midway between 25 and 26 years. And with the exception of a small amount on our one account – which hopefully will get paid next week – we are debt free as well.
Many do work on getting out of debt. It’s a good thing. I’ve seen so many mismanage their money. So sad. 🙂
Thanks for hosting Thankful Thursday. It’s a wonderful thing. 🙂
I love you. Thank you for loving me and helping us be debt free. I am thankful for us having another 19 years together.
Your loving husband.

I love you too, honey. I’ve known you for over 40 years, and am so happy we found our way to the alter. Now we’re debt free. 🙂
Oh Sandee what wonderful blessings to be thankful for today. I’m thankful we found you ….and I’ll be thankful if this comment shows up.LOL
Hugs Cecilia
I’m thankful I found you too, Cecilia. You’ve been such a blessing. 🙂
Being debt-free is certainly a blessing! Happy Anniversary!
Yes it is. We are very happy to be among the ranks of being debt free. 🙂
It sounds like you got out of debt just to buy a home and go back into debt.
We needed somewhere to live, Kismet. We paid our home off in 17.6 years. 🙂
Looks like we’ll pay off our mortgage just about the time that I retire. Wish I could retire right NOW, but patience, grasshopper! Congrats on your wedding anniversary.
That’s a good thing. You don’t want debt when you retire. Thank you for weighing in. 🙂
Congratulations on 19 years and on finding the Right One,
The right one is the best part. He’s a trooper and a keeper. 🙂

Thanks, honey. 🙂
Congrats to both of you. Being married for so long and now being debt free are great achievements.
They are indeed. We are so fortunate. 🙂
That’s a whole lot of good reasons to be thankful. Congrats on 19 years together. Mom and Dad will hit 48 years this summer!!!
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Wow 48 years. Way to go. Scritches to all the pups and especially Lightning. 🙂
Congratulations on your anniversary! <3
Thanks Barbara. 🙂
Congratulations of 19 years of marriage and on being debt free… Dan and I have been debt-free for more than 40 decades—that is a blessing we are so thankful for each day and we’re oh so thankful for so many years to spend together. Today, he came home from the grocery store with a dozen red roses for me for Mother’s Day–the fourth time he has splurged on such frivolity over the years. Thankful that he did such a beautiful thing for me today! <3 xo
Dan is a keeper. What a lovely thing for him to do. We are both truly blessed. 🙂
Those are wonderful things to be thankful for. XO
I agree, Ellen. 🙂
It is good to be debt free and without the stress of trying to pay off the debt. Good to know that you and hubby have wonderful and beautiful 19 years together. May you and your hubby continue to enjoy many, many more beautiful years to come.
Thank you Nancy. We were very happy to find each other. We are hoping for many more years too. 🙂
19 Extra Pawkisses for a Happy, Healthy and Wealthy Anniversary to you and your hubby, dear Sandee. What wonderful archievements you have reached <3 🐾😽💞
I’ll take all 19, Little Binky. I love you bunches. 🙂
A very Happy Anniversary!!
Thank you so much. Happy weekend. 🙂
Being debt free is wonderful (not that I would know from personal experience, LOL)! But having a happy marriage is priceless (that I do know from personal experience!!).
It is a wonderful feeling indeed. Being happy in your marriage is the best. 🙂
Being out of debt and having reliable transportation is great to be thankful for. And a wonderful marriage is awesome.
Yes, yes and yes. 🙂
