I’m thankful that today we’re heading to a yacht club event in Stockton, California. We’re meeting another couple on the river and travel to our weekend destination.
I’m thankful that hubby and I are able to still boat. It’s a lot of work loading and unloading, but it’s worth every minute. I would rather be on our boat than be pampered on a cruise ship. Our boating is much more fun.
I’m thankful that tomorrow will find many more boats all lined up to enjoy a weekend of fun at one of our favorite destinations, Stockton Yacht Club.

Sounds like you are going to have a wonderful weekend. There is nothing better than going somewhere with friends, at least it makes camping more fun, so I know you’ll have more fun too.
I know it sounds shallow, but I am thankful that I found a dress to wear to my anniversary date this weekend. I dread dress shopping more than a root canal.

Gosh, that sounds like fun! Have a wonderful time. I wonder how I’d do on a boat like yours. The only time I’ve been on one was around 1970, Florida, on a deep sea fishing boat. I was fine till it cut the engine to fish. I never expected that I would get seasick! I was just fine again once they got moving. Go figure!
Some people get seasick and some don’t. You just never know. I think you’d be fine since we aren’t in the ocean. 🙂
Being out on the water is lovely, although i’ve never learned to sail, just been in others’ boats. Bon Voyage!
We have a power boat, not a sailboat. I don’t know how to sail a sailboat. 🙂
