Villa Manzu in Costa Rica – This estate is spread across five acres of isolated peninsula into the Pacific Ocean. There are only eight suites on the entire property, ensuring serenity. Guests also have access to the villa’s wine room, stocked with sommelier-chosen bottles and award-winning cigars. And for those who care about celeb standards: earlier this year the Kardashian clan stayed at the lodge for their Costa Rican vacation. It’s available to rent starting at $16,500 per night.

Looks like a wonderful place to stay but with a nights stay costing more than 2 years worth of mortgage payments it’s unlikely I’ll be booking a room. I’m not impressed by the Kardashians either.
It’s too pricey for me too. I can stay at a nice place for way less than that. 🙂
That place looks lovely, but spending that much a night? I can’t quite imagine ever being in a position to do that 🙂
I couldn’t either, Ellen. Way to rich for my blood. 🙂
Wow… yes please!!
It would be cool to tour the place. I can’t afford to stay there though. 🙂
That sure sounds like a great place to stay. But it really isn’t in our budget. Sandee, you and Zane have a fabulous day.
These kinds of places always fascinate me. It’s how the rich live. It’s just as normal for them to stay here as it is for me to go to Holiday Inn Express. 🙂
Now that looks nice and luxurious and I should think so for the price heheh!
Have a luxurytastic WWS 😯
They better have hot and cold pool boys for me at this price. 🙂
It’s a beautiful place, alright, but I’d never be able to sleep at that rate! Not to mention, the Kardashians are an anti-selling point for me! 😆
I hear you on both counts. 🙂
So beautiful. But at that nightly rate, I think we’ll pass. LOL!
Thank you for hosting Wordless Wednesday. 🙂
I’ll pass right along with you. Way to steep for me. 🙂
Lovely architecture, but I prefer something closer to nature…. A cabin in the woods, a hut in the jungle.
I like to stay in a nice place, but way, way less than this. 🙂
I prefer t shirts and jeans to dressing up.
Quite a gorgeous place, but for that price, who would want to share the accommodations with eight other guests? XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
For that price I should have the place to myself indeed. 🙂
Nope, my peep didn’t stay there on the car trip from Panama City to San Antonio, Texas. That means he didn’t pick up any diseases that the CarTrashians have.
You crack me up, Kismet. I love your sense of humor. 🙂
Yowza! Beautiful image.
It is very beautiful indeed, Darla. 🙂
Wow so pretty. Thanks for the party. I linked too. Feel free to come and link your posts at
parties at The Fabulous Party. Have a great week. The party is over here:
Thanks for linking up, Sherry. 🙂
I would stay awake all night. Is breakfast included?
I doubt that anything is included in this place. 🙂
Yeah…not thinking I will be renting that! haha…
That makes two of us, Pam. 🙂
This is an impressive, expensive place but way too contemporary to suit this gal. I would love to have 5 acres of land, though. Thanks for stopping by and linking up today! 😉
I’m the same kind of gal you are, Cathy. 🙂
Do they take Disney timeshare points?
I doubt it, Joe. 🙂
$16,500 per night.!! a bargain! ha
That’s a lot of money you’re spending to sleep and shower. 🙂
The next time $16,500 falls into my lap, that’s where I’m going!
p.s. Thanks for linking me.
You’re most welcome, Marti. 🙂
I bet you wouldn’t spend that money on that room. I’m thinking you’d find something different to spend that money on, and most wisely too. 🙂
Well there’s one place I’ll never see.
Me either, Binky. Way too rich for my blood. 🙂
It’s a beautiful photo but for an expensive resort a rather small pool unless it’s all yours (: The Kardashians staying there is NOT a plus for me. Those are the people I’d be escaping from.
Me too, Jeanna. I don’t want to be around any celebrities. It’s too much drama for me. 🙂
Oh, right! Only $16G’s huh? Sure that’s just a drop in the bucket…… FOR THE “Kardashian clan”! Unfortunately or Fortunately I’m not related to them! So pictures will do me just fine!!! It is beautiful though! I think I’d spend the whole day in the pool, and then lay out in the sun for a bit and back in the pool and more sun and then maybe a really elegant dinner and a half a glass of wine and push the bed outside for me and let me sleep with one of those chiffon nets around me… WOW…. NOW THAT’S LIVIN’!!! HAHAHA IN MY DREAMS!!! Thanks for sharing girlfriend and stopping by. So happy you like the shawl I made. HUGS it took a lot of work, but I finally did it!
I would be at the pool too, In the shade though. We could have an elegant dinner together along with that wine. It would be fun, but only if someone else paid for it. Hugs back, Marie. 🙂
OH WOW! YOU BETCHA! LOL US TOGETHER? THERE? OH MY LOOK OUT THE PLACE WOULD BE UP FOR GRABS GIRLFRIEND BECAUSE WE WOULD SURELY PARTY HARDY!!! ~snicker-snicker~ Just the two of us… we can make it if we try… just the two of us… YOU AND I!!! lalalalalalala lalalalala Ahhhhh it’s fun to dream isn’t it??? ~hehehe~
Nice place…but I would prefer to spend a week at Lassie Lake (http://ca.geoview.info/lassie_lake_recreation_site,168091531w )!
Nellie loved camping up there as does the whole family.
i’d rather go to Lassie Lake too. Beautiful. Everything in Canada is beautiful. 🙂
16, 500? That’s all? Pocket change. 😉
Or petty cash. That works too. 🙂
Beautiful place ~ but that is a big symbol of what is wrong with our world ~ priorities all on ‘stuff!’ ~ It is the people and animals that important ~ LOVE is key ~
Happy Times to you,
A ShutterBug Explores
aka (A Creative Harbor)
I agree with you, Carol. It’s not about stuff. It’s about love. Scritches to Zoe. 🙂
Thanks, but as nice as it is, i would rather spend my money on other stuff.
Me too. It always amazes me what some things cost and how the rich can be found there. 🙂
Stunning place but 16,500 a night is not in the cards for me. I can be happy staying somewhere for a lot less.
I too would find something way less than this. It just makes me wonder what could be worth this much money for one night of stay. 🙂
Yes, it makes me wonder, as well. No what it has to offer, if it is not cozy, then it’s not worth it.
How lovely! I would love to visit 🙂
I would love to tour it. Pretty sure I wouldn’t spend that kind of money on a room for one night. 🙂
wow! that’s a little steep for one night. That pays for a new car! Ok, an economy car but still! you could get a car for that.
I can think of much better ways to spend that kind of money. 🙂
that is EXQUISITE!! There is nothing I love more than swimming in a pool at night and I would love to be there right now! Have a great weekend! xoxo
It is a beautiful place, but too expensive for me. We’re having a great weekend. 🙂
