It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for. I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
I’m thankful for waking up each day ready for another adventure. We may do many things and we may do very few things, but we’re doing them together.
I’m thankful that hubby and I are healthy. We are getting old, but we make an effort to eat right, go to the doctor when we’re supposed to and we stay active.
I’m thankful for my blogging friends. You have no idea how much joy you bring me each day. I love all your comments. Many of you I’ve met. Many of you I’d like to meet. You fill my day with smiles. Sometimes you make me sad when you’re sad, but through it all we are together. Thank you for that.
What are you thankful for today?
This is so very true Sandee. Happy Thursday honey! Have a wonderful day 🙂

Happy Thursday to you too Jody. Love you and HUGS back. 🙂
I love that about the adventures; always exciting whether a lot or a few because you’re doing it together.
Today I’m thankful I managed to get an earlier hospital appointment, I’m thankful for my mother’s nerve pain getting better this week, and I’m thankful for my car so I can do a supermarket shop today!
Happy Thursday! 🙂
There are so many things to be thankful for. We just need to take the time to think of them. I’m glad you got an earlier hospital appointment. 🙂
Yes.
Thanks for leaving a comment here, Regine. I really appreciate it. 🙂
On this Thankful Thursday, I would just like to say this…
I am thankful for you, Sandee.
You are one of the kindest, sweetest, most supportive people I have met through this whole blogging thing. I feel blessed to be able to count you as a friend.
💖
What a wonderful comment. You’ve made my day. Thank you. 🙂
WE are thankful for you and Zane too Sandee. Thanks for your help yesterday. Have a perfect day.
I’m so thankful I found you years ago, Marg. You’re a wonderful blogging buddy. 🙂
Yes, a thankful heart is a happy heart! So true!
Yes it is, Nancy and we both have thankful hearts. 🙂
What a beautiful post.
Thank you. Have a day filled with thankful things. 🙂
so very very true Sandee! Cheers and Hugs!
Thanks, Kathe. Cheers and hugs to you and Russell. 🙂
HI Sandee, thanks to you and to Brian for these Thankful Thursdays. I think the more positive we are the more amazing blogger we can bring back into the fold! My photo went sideways hee hee hee you know me and my lack of tech saavy stuff! Youn always share the best stuff.
This is all Brian’s doing. He’s a great guy with lots of wonderful kitties. You should visit him. A wonderful place to feel at home. 🙂
Hi Sandee, three very good reasons to be thankful! I am thankful for having parents, who like yourself, look after themselves and are active. And making blogging friends is something I truely never expected when I started out on this blogging lark, but I wouldn’t change a thing!
xx
I didn’t know what to expect either when I starting blogging. It’s been a wonderful ride and I’ve met so many wonderful people. Many of them in person. 🙂
Those are wonderful things to be thankful for and we’re glad to have you as pals too! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Thanks, Brian. It’s good to meet new blogging buddies. Have a Thankful Thursday. 🙂
That’s a lovely sentiment, Sandee. I too am thankful for all the blogger pals I’ve made and would love to meet people in person. I think you’ve got the secret figured out, stay active and try to eat healthy and you’ll enjoy getting older possibly more than any other time in your life.
I’m having a far better time in my old age than I ever did when I was young. Wisdom, patience, and so many other things you learn as you age. I’m loving my golden years. 🙂
We have EXTRA Happy Hearts at our house…Me because I am getting extra lap time!!! Mom is enjoying just petting me and watching the Stanley Cup Finals without having to blog.
BTW Mom got good news from the orthopedic surgeon, the bone is healing faster than they expected (for such an old fart, must be the clean living) but she did get some muscle damage that will probably take longer to heal than the break. She can start doing physio exercises this coming weekend.

Marv
What great news about your arm. I’m so happy for you. Just do what they tell you to do in physio and you’ll be back in business in no time. Great for Marv to get all the lap time too. 🙂
Beautiful comment. I’m grateful for my blog buddies, too.
My blogging buddies rock. 🙂
Wonderful thankfuls. I am thankful for your friendship too.
Likewise, Ellen. I’m glad we found each other. 🙂
Much to be thankful for for sure! I’m thankful for the staycation with J. We had a wonderful time just being together. Now I’m having a hard time getting back in the groove of things though. Glad you both are doing well! Hope you’ve been able to be out on your boat!
We’re heading to the boat tomorrow and getting the isinglass off and the screens up. It’s going to be hot. Then a bit of cleaning. The following weekend is a yacht club cruise and we’re ready for that.
I’m glad you had a great staycation with J and the girls. 🙂
Like you, I am so thankful for my blogging friends. Now that I live farther away from other people, my online friends help me feel not so alone. I don’t remember when or how I first came across your blog, but I do remember thinking I would probably post a picture here and nothing would come of it. Instead, I look forward to your posts and comments so much! I’m thankful that I found your blog.
I’m thankful we found each other. 🙂
Meeting to many new, wonderful people is one of my favorite things about the interwebs, and you are one of the best! Someday i want to be able to give you a hug in person.
I would love that. You’ve made my day. 🙂
It’s great to be healthy. It becomes increasingly important as you get older. I’m thankful I met you too and other bogging folks across the wires and continents
We work very hard to stay healthy. I am glad I met you too. 🙂
We love your quote. Being healthy is important, whatever our ages may be both for us humans and our cats and dogs!
Happy Thankful Thursday 🙂
I agree. We took great care of our wonderful dog all of her life. She was very old when she went to the bridge. 🙂
So much in this world to be thankful for. Some days it may be buried under a pile of negativity but the bright side is that one can always dig themselves out. All they have to do is want it. 🙂 I”m thankful that I have been blessed with some of the best blog friends there are.
I agree that sometimes It’s buried deeply, but if we want we can did it out. I consider you one of my best blogging friends. 🙂
I am thankful that after canceling at least FIVE of my fiver year follow-up colonoscopies….that yesterday, when I went to see the doctor who does them, he told me they came out with a BRAND NEW prep about 9 weeks ago! Woooo hoooo! (yes I re-scheduled) lol Have a pawesome day! xoxo
I want to know about the new prep. I go next month. 🙂
This is just too sweet! Happy summer my friend. Hope there are as many adventures as you would like during it 🙂
We’re on the boat now. We came up Friday to gas up the boat and take down the isinglass and put up the screens. We’re done with that. Next weekend we have a cruise to Stockton Yacht Club and we won’t have much to do when we return next Wednesday. 🙂
