It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
I’m thankful for the new year. Hubby and I are already talking about cruising to different marinas during the good weather. We have our favorite places to go, but this year we’re going to do a delta cruise in the fall. We don’t want to go on the bay cruise anymore so a delta cruise will fit the bill. Places we’re going to visit are Tower Park Marina, Antioch Marina, Pittsburg Marina and Delta Marina Yacht Harbor. We may add another marina or two, but we need to make sure there are places to dine when we cruise. Cooking dinner is not something we want to do. If we stay two nights in each marina that will give us an 8 day cruise with one night at our marina on the front end and one night on the back end for a total of 10 days. A perfect delta cruise.

Happy cruising Sandee. Great that you have made travel plans. We would love to go to Europe, but with our State only opening to the world from the 5th February and the Omicron variant flooding us then, we have decided to wait and see… Enjoy it 🙂 Happy New Year!
Everyone is waiting aren’t they. We can cruise on our boat as long as the marinas are open. We can order food to go and just go from marina to marina. Works for us. 🙂
Sounds like a great plan and I know you will enjoy every second of it.
This morning I’m thankful that the snow hasn’t started yet.
I know you’re not a fan of snow. We do enjoy our cruises. 🙂
10 days in a row of doing something you love to do. nothing could be better.. sounds perfect to me..
It’s fabulous, Sandra. Our boat has everything we need. A nice bed, a galley and a wonderful head that we can shower each day. It’s pure heaven. Scritches to Beau. 🙂
I’m thankful to read about your adventures. 😀 Hugs, my dear.
We love our adventures. Hugs back, Darla. 🙂
That sounds like a lot of fun, especially the eating out part! We are planning our sports events for the next six months. Planning is half the fun of doing things, isn’t it?
We’ve not eaten out in months. We save that for our cruises. Yes planning is half the fun. 🙂
I’m also thankful for this year ❤
Me too, Kinga. Each day is a gift. 🙂
I’m baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack! Hope your holidays were great. Much to be thankful for indeed.
I’m haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaapy, Paul. Our holidays were great. Hope yours were too. 🙂
Thankful for you my friend.

Oh how sweet, Regine. I’m thankful for you too. 🙂
Happy cruising, Sandee! Today started with a brisk and sunny morning. I am grateful for that. Happy Thursday. 😀
It’s gloomy here and it’s supposed to rain tomorrow. I’m good with that. Happy Thursday. 🙂
That sounds absolutely wonderful! The cruise of course but also the no cooking part! 🙂 I am thankful for this New Year! Big hugs to you, Sandee. xoxo
We don’t want to cook when we’re on a cruise. Dinner only, but it’s such a treat. Love you, Karen. 🙂
We are anxious and thankful that snow is on its way for tomorrow!
I’m happy for you, Miss Molly. We want pictures. 🙂
Sounds like the purrfect thing for you two to do – enjoy! (don’t forget to show us some photos)
We sure enjoy it and we’re going to do it as long as we can. 🙂
Good plan for cruising! Years ago I used to go on a house boat cruise with my oldest son and his buddies- great fun! I took my little red kayak and had fun paddling when we would be anchored for the day!
It’s great fun out on the water and we have miles and miles of waterways. 🙂
Sounds wonderful. How does covid effect your plans?
Not much. If they are on lock down we can still go to marinas and order food to go. It’s not ideal, but we can be on our boat for days and just read, take walks and just enjoy each others company. 🙂
It sounds like you’ve got some real cruising fun in the works and you’ll enjoy every minute of it too. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
We’re hoping it works out. We sure enjoy being on our boat. Thanks for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. 🙂
I hope you have a wonderful time on your planned cruise! We’re throwing around some ideas for trips this year. I just wish the stupid covid stuff would settle down so travel wasn’t so difficult.
The great thing about our cruising is we can still go with covid and not be around folks. Order our food to go and eat on our boat. It works. 🙂
Sandee,
Sounds like y’all have some good plans made for your cruising season. That’ll give you something to look forward to indeed. 🙂
Let’s just hope we can do them. They have extended the mask mandate for another month so now it’s mid February. 🙂
Your cruise plans sound wonderful, Sandee! I’m thankful for family, friends and a hubby who likes to cook (one of his many outstanding qualities)! 💞
I’m thankful I found you, Bette. You’re such a delight. 🙂
Today we are thankful for a warm house, while outside is so very cold.
Having a warm home is a most wonderful thing indeed. We’re so fortunate. 🙂
Your cruising plans sound lovely. Have a great day!
We so enjoy our boating. Hope to do more this year. 🙂
What a wonderful plan you and Zane have for the spring and summer. It is such fun to have something to look forward to now. Hugs Cecilia
It’s so cold here, but as usual as soon as the new year shows up we’re ready for spring. Big hugs. 🙂
That cruise sounds lovely. I agree, you definitely don’t want to be cooking!
I paid for our April cruise today. I have been keep putting it off, but Princess has a book with confidence guarantee where they will refund cancelation fees as future cruise credits for cruises to the end of April. Hopefully we won’t need to do that though.
I hope you get to go on your cruise. I know how you love them. You love them as much as we enjoy our on our own boat. 🙂
So glad you can cruise around seeing interesting places.
Happy Thursday & upcoming weekend! <3
We so enjoy it, Barbara. It’s such fun for us. 🙂
That is a wonderful thanikful- something to look forward to. XO
We’re the same way each year after the holidays are over. Let’s bring on spring and boating. 🙂
The Delta cruise sound perfect! Especially the no cooking part! I could get into that! I’m really hoping the weather is better this summer and I can get away to the coast. I so miss the ocean! Marv sends whisker kisses and head bonks. Barb
We so love it and going from one marina to another is most fun. Different scenery and different food to enjoy. Love and hugs all around, a smooch to Marv and a big hug to you. 🙂
That cruise sounds fabulous, i hope it all goes off without a hitch.
I hope so too, but often things don’t work out, but we roll with the punches. Big hug, my friend. 🙂
I like the idea that you eat out when you cruise! What fun adventures 🙂
It’s the only time we do. I’m looking forward to it too. There are so many favorite dishes I love to have and then we walk and walk so we don’t gain weight. 🙂
That sounds like a lovely life that you have.
We worked hard for many years and now it’s time to play as long as we can. 🙂
Only about three months to “opening day on the bay”,
You’ve got that right. We’ve been there on the opening day and out on the water. It was most fun. 🙂
Sounds like a wonderful plan.
We think so and are looking forward to a wonderful boating year. 🙂
Wishing you and your husband tons of cruising time together in 2022. ⛵️
Wishing you the best year ever. 🙂
Sounds like you have a good plan mapped out. Happy cruising!!!
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
We’re hoping it works out as planned too. Scritches to the pups and especially Misty. 🙂
