It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

I’m thankful for seafood. All kinds of seafood. Hubby and I don’t go out much in the wintertime, but when the weather gets better we hit our favorite seafood places to feast on seafood. We love just about anything that comes from the sea.
I’m thankful for clam chowder and garlic bread to go with the seafood. Perhaps a nice glass of wine too. It’s the perfect meal.

Wades favorite place to eat used to be Red Lobster. I like seafood but not all of it. I just can’t do clams or oysters but I love fish, shrimp and lobster.
We don’t eat a lot of seafood during the winter months, but when we can go out seafood is often our first choice. 🙂
We love seafood too and especially shrimp.
Shrimp is my absolute favorite too. 🙂
Shrimp is my favorite Seafood and I do love some fish but not all fish. Right this moment I am thankful that Bob is cooking me some bacon for breakfast
Shrimp is my favorite too. Going to San Francisco seafood is a must. It’s so much better there. 🙂
Mom doesn’t touch seafood, never has liked it, but she is thankful for BBQ season. That is her favorite thing. You enjoy the seafood, it is nice a fresh where you are.
I love BBQ season too. We used to do Calamari feeds. Love Calamari. Yes you can get it fresh if you don’t mind driving to the bay area. We’ve done that many times. 🙂
We love seafood too. Yums.
I know you do. I love seeing your foodie posts. 🙂
Nice thankfuls. Would you believe the only seafood I eat is solid white albacore from a can? And even that I have to be in the mmd for. Have a great day! XO
Whatever makes you happy is a good thing, Ellen. You have a nice day too. 🙂
I love seafood too, Sandee! I am allergic to some types of fish but not all so I enjoy what I can. Happy Thursday!
We have a friend that can’t eat shellfish. Highly allergic. Happy Thursday. 🙂
I can eat most shellfish, but in small quantities! Some other types of fish, I can’t eat. I get hives and swelling of the gums.
Such nice and yummy thankfuls, fresh seafood is terrific! Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
It sure is and thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. 🙂
Seafood, seafood and more seafood… YES! 🙂 xo
I agree, Bette. A delightful treat anytime. 🙂
Ohhh what a pretty photo. Now I’m hungry for everything you mentioned
Hugs Cecilia
Yes and I’m planning on having some seafood this weekend. Hugs back, my friend. 🙂
OMG now you are making me hungry for seafood! I am CERTAIN the seafood where you are is a ZILLION times better than ours! I may need to come and try it out lol. I’m thankful for the GORGEOUS weather we have been having and more gorgeous weather is yet to come!!
We can go to San Francisco and enjoy the freshest and the best on the west coast. 🙂
Sandee, that sounds so yummy,I’ll join you but I will pass on a glass of wine and have some coffee instead.💕💕
I hear you, Mike. I could go for the coffee too. 🙂
I like seafood, fried! haha….you know, breaded and dipped in oil! Seriously, I eat seafood but that is not my fave food. Wine, yum. I have had some really good times with wine…haha. Seriously, I hardly ever drink. I used to love wine but then I started to have some major headaches and a couple of times it set off my asthma, sulfites in the wine. I will join you any day with a meal of seafood and maybe a glass of tea.
I don’t have to have wine, but I often do have a glass with my meal. Tea is good too. 🙂
We love seafood too- we eat meat 1-2x a week, fish the same and the rest just vegetarian….have a happy day and have a lobster tail or two! xoxo
Red meat is a rarity here. The older we get the less we have. I still want my burger now and then. Big hugs. 🙂
Wonderful thanksfuls ~ I love seafood ~ too ~ be there for lunch and wine with you ~ LOL
Lots of Xox to you and hubby ~ enjoy that boat ~ ^_^

I would be most thrilled to have lunch and wine with you and Angel. Love and hugs to you both. 🙂
Oh My Cod! We LOVE seafood! Mom so misses living by the ocean. The thing she misses the most about living here in the middle of nowhere is fresh seafood. Sandee you are a lady after her own heart! (She loves boating too). We are especially thankful for you dear furrend. We love participating in the hops and we love your comments! Marv sends whisker kisses and head butts!
We need to get together so I can love on your babies and give you a hug or five. Then we can eat lots of seafood and take a cruise on our boat. Love to all and a big smooch to Marv. 🙂
Seafood!! Always a winner here. The cats love it but dislike shrimp. I love certain seafood but calamari, oysters and clams I can do well without. Although smoked oysters are pretty good. All I taste is the smokiness of them so they’re grweat. hehe
Jean
Not everyone likes all seafood. Some is far better than others too. Have a great day, Jean. 🙂
Dad and we cats join you in loving that food of the sea. Nothing like a nice plate of shrimp, lobster or crab! Yummy
I agree. There there are the seafood soups like lobster bisque. One of my favorite soups. 🙂
My mother did most of the meal prep when I was growing up…wait, strike that…when I was a child.
However, my father made terrific scrambled eggs every Sunday, and once or twice a year, he’d make fish stew.
Boy oh boy, that was good, yummy stew.
Hubby makes fish stew and it is delicious. Now I want some of that too. 🙂
Our Mom loves lots of seafood too, and shrimp are her favorite, cooked any way at all.
We are thankful for the amazingly gorgeous day we have here today. A week of rain is on the horizon:(
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Shrimp is my favorite too. Enjoy the nice weather. Scritches to the pups. 🙂
Hmmm… now I know what needs to be on the menu for this week. Yum!
Have a great one 🙂
I’m going to have seafood this weekend. I’m so ready. 🙂
That quite an array of seafood!
Help yourself, it’s delicious. 🙂
Most people here love seafood, too. It’s plentiful (although not cheap any longer).
Hope you and Mr. Zane have a restaurant plan for the weekend!
We have several planned. Big hug. 🙂
Mmmmmm, seafood sounds good right about now!!
Happy Thankful Thursday!
Yes sure does. Happy Thankful Thursday. 🙂
Living in New England, we get lots of the catch of the day
The best of the best. Yummy. 🙂
Just perhaps a glass of wine?
We’ll have one together, Kismet. 🙂
While I don’t like most fish and seafood, my boys and husband love it. I remember taking the boys to Red Lobster for their birthdays back when the only thing you could get there other than fish was bread and salad, so that would be my meal on those trips.
You either like seafood or you don’t. Nothing wrong with that. Happy weekend. 🙂
Sandee,
Mmm, that’s some good thankfulness! We’re beginning to rethink vacation this year and are making semi-plans to try to get away this fall which has me excited. We’ll wait to see how things play out over the next few months but I think the pandemic restrictions are on the verge of being lifted for which I can’t wait for that to happen. It’ll be nice for life to go back to normal again. All it takes is using common sense to avoid sickly people and to keep your hands away from your face while in public. Of course washing your hands is a must all the way around no matter what germs are floating around. Stay safe and be well, my friend!
I’m seeing the same thing. We’re in Pittsburg right now and things are open. We went to a restaurant last night and sat inside. Haven’t been able to do that for over a year here. 🙂
Oh, that sounds so good! Unfortunately, I’m allergic to shellfish. Luckily I do like a good haddock or whitefish though. 🙂
I know some folks that are allergic to shellfish. I like haddock and whitefish too. More smooches to Luke. 😉
I’m Thankful I stopped by, Sandee. Now I can have all the seafood of my own…starting with the lobster😸Fishy Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend🐾😽💞
Help yourself, Little Binky. There’s plenty for everyone. Pawkisses back. 🙂
Yum. I’m thankful for so many wonderful memories of trips to North Carolina’s Outer Banks and hope we can return again some day. Hugs, my dear.
Being able to go places is a good thing indeed. We had a nice weekend on our boat and enjoyed some good food while dining indoors. Hugs back, my friend. 🙂
