It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
I’m thankful for all the pups, dogs, kittens and cats that I enjoy all week long. There are several birds too (I love you Kismet). You have no idea how much joy each of them bring me. I have so many that I love to pieces.
I’m thankful that I’ve met so many bloggers in person. Many no longer blog, but it was most special to be able to share time with each other. I miss the bloggers that I’ve never met who no longer blog. That special friendship will never be forgotten. I think of you often. I’m most thankful for the bloggers that are still blogging and let me share their lives through their posts.

Today I’m thankful for long sleeves. It’s a bit colder today than it has been the last week.
There are a lot of bloggers that I’ve followed over the years who have quit blogging. I often wonder what happened to them.
Hubby and I just got back from our walk about an hour ago. It was way to cold this morning and I had to wait for it to warm up. I wonder what happened to those bloggers that disappear too. 🙂
I too miss the bloggers who no longer blog. I am also thankful for you and other blogging friends. I am thankful for my hairdresser that cuts my hair and the rain and sunshine that help my plants to grow.
There are so many things to be thankful for. I wake up each morning thankful for a new day. 🙂
We miss the bloggers that no longer blog too and mom and I are so thankful to be back to our daily walkies.
I’m happy you’re back on your daily walkies too. I know you missed it something awful. 🙂
I often go back a few years to see who was commenting on my posts back then. People’s names pop up that I followed and had fun with, but suddenly disappeared.
I’m thankful for pubs opening again this week!
I hear you. People come and go and some stay. I like the ones that stay. 🙂
We too have met so many bloggers in person and most are no longer blogging. They are all missed. Some we really wonder where they went as they just vanished. Thankfully many said they were leaving the blogging world so we know they are alright.
Yes they are and many are on social media. I’m no longer on social media. Hateful, ugly place. It’s good when folks at least say they are not going to blog anymore. 🙂
I feel the exact same way you do! And I do miss the bloggers that have died and the bloggers that have quit blogging. And I am also very very thankful for the ones that still blog. I am thankful for contact with the outside world. And not just the world I live in but the world all around the globe
So many quit their blogs and went to Facebook only. I refuse to be on hateful social media. I just couldn’t keep all the hate out so I deleted all my accounts. Best thing I ever did. 🙂
Good thankful today (as always). I would live to meet more bloggers, and am thankful for the wonderful one I’ve met and stay in contact with.
Bloggers are great folks. I sure have enjoy my many years blogging. This blog only has some of the years. My blogspot blog went way back. 🙂
I miss bloggers that no longer blog or have passed away. Even though only a virtual connection, the relationships are still special. I am thankful my kitty got her shots. We found a wonderful mobile vet – no stress for us and no stress for our kitty. Happy Thursday! ❤️
Me too. Some of mine have passed away too and it’s sad. I’m just happy I met them. 🙂
I am thankful that I have met two blog friends in person. I am thankful that I got to know many blog friends and even not meeting them in person, I feel like I know them as well as some of my closest friends.
I hear you and I agree. They are friends like all friends are. It’s a wonderful thing. 🙂
Always thankful for good and kind people! Our world needs less division and more caring and loving folks. Have a lovely day!
I so agree with you and I won’t let those folks that want to fight all the time be on my blog. I just delete their comments and block them from commenting on my blog anymore. They just go in the spam folder. 🙂
Those are some beautiful thankfuls today and I agree with each one.
Thank you so much. The blogging community is a wonderful place. 🙂
This blogging community is so special; and one that I thank every day. I feel truly blessed to have met the likes of people like you, even if just digitally. Thanks for always having a kind word to make all of us smile.
Yes there are some very strong friendships in the blogging world. I’m very glad I met you too. Scritches to Elsa and a smooch to Norman. 🙂
Sandee what a wonderful Thankful Thursday. I 100% agree with every word your wrote. This last year having blogger friends who share their lives and furries with us has been a blessing. I miss those who dropped out during the year and pray they are ok. We had a wonderful trek today ran into a trio that absolutely delighted us. They will be on Awww Monday post.
Yes there are so many wonderful bloggers out there. I spent a week with many on a bloggers cruise some years back. We had a ball. 🙂
Those are such sweet thankfuls. We ‘re sure thankful to have met so many wonderful bloggers in person over the years. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
It’s most fun for sure. I’ve lost count as to how many bloggers I’ve met in person. 🙂
Wonderful list of thankfuls. I hope to meet you in person someday. XO
I hope we can meet someday too, Ellen. 🙂
Really nice Thankfuls and we are so glad to visit you and your wonderful hops
I’m so happy I found you and your kitties. 🙂
What a lovely post. How nice that you have had a chance to meet some bloggers in person.
It was most fun and I’ve met so many from around the world. 🙂
I’m thankful for your friendship. This month I have fallen by the way with return visits and I appreciate your patience more than I can say. I’m thankful so far that I’m not allowing myself to stress over not doing what I normally do while still pulling together sketches for this challenge. I’m thankful DH got his scheduled dental work (5-teeth prepped for crowns) this week and there were no surprises. We were concerned he might need an implant but he doesn’t! Have a wonderful day and again, thanks for stopping in every day to see my latest Looney Tunes A-Z Art Sketch!! 😘
You’re doing A2Z and that’s all you should focus on for now. Next month you can get back to normal. Good news on DHs dental work. Implants are very expensive. Hug hugs and I appreciate you too. 🙂
what about half-assed bloggers like me who are lucky if we blog one day a week? MOL AND BOL!! xoxo
You’re not a half-assed blogger. Everyone does what they want. Stressing over posting everyday. 🙂
I always wonder what happens to bloggers who no longer post or have taken down their blogs. … I’ve never met another blogger in person, but it would be fun I think.
Hope your Thursday is going good. <3
It’s most fun. Hubby and I when on a bloggers cruise some years back. It was packed with bloggers. It was great fun. 🙂
What a sobering but sweet post. ~hugs~ I am relatively new to the scene but appreciate those I’ve met and, either way, miss those who are no long blogging for whatever reason.
I’ve met many of my blogging buddies, but many of those same buddies only do Facebook now and I refuse to be one any social media. 🙂
I love our two Grand Cats, Rebel and Shadow! They bring us lots of joy… Also, I’ve had a chance to meet four of my blogger friends in person and that’s been awesome. <3 Happy Thursday, Sandee!
It is fun to meet people and kitties that you blog with. I’ve so enjoyed that too. 🙂
It is a joy to meet people online, then meet up in person and find them as wonderful as they are on the web.
It is hard to lose people, too. All part of community and life, i guess.
Thank you for being a very special part of the community!
We feel the same on this. Many have passed away and one in particular I was so happy to have met. You’re a special part of my community too. 🙂
I’ve met a few fellow bloggers too; it’s so much fun!
It is fun indeed. Bloggers are the very best. 🙂
We too are so very thankful for our blogging furrends!! Some people stop blogging and we wonder where they are and how they are doing. And we have made so many new friends. We are thankful for you Sandee and the hops you host and the time and energy you take to visit and comment! You ROCK and we hope that you and tour loved ones are having a marvellously happy day!
Thank you so much, Barb. I was told long ago if you’re going to do hope you have to visit the folks that play along. I’ve never forgotten that great advice. Scritches all around, a smooch to Marv and a huge hug to you. 🙂
We are thankful for you and the rest of our friends
I’m thankful for you too, Marsha. 🙂
Things have changed so much since I first started blogging, 9 years ago!, and most of my blog friends from back then have stopped. I’m thankful for the ones that are still going, and that I’ve made other new friends (like you) more recently too! ♥
I’m glad I met you too, Jan. Smooches to Luke. 🙂
Animals are the best! Guess what pet we brought home this week? Actually pets…. we now have earth worms in a container and they are beloved 🙂 Geesh!!!
Kids want the weirdest things don’t they and we let them, 🙂
