Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

I’m thankful that I’m breathing fresh air. We’ve had some rain and rain just cleans the air so nicely. Each summer California burns and the air is so bad. I’ll enjoy it now while it’s so fresh.

I’m thankful for sunshine. Some years ago we would have fog that would last all January and February. It never lifted. I would wait for my days off to head up in the foothills to get above the fog line so I could enjoy the sun. It may have been cold, but the sun recharged my batteries.

What are you thankful for today?

I am also thankful for the fresh air, rain and sun. Thankful that I can take beautiful sky shots and capture all the beautiful moments with my smartphone camera. I could go on and on. Have a blessed week.

  2. Memories of Eric and Flynn says:

Living in the countryside we have usually good fresh air, but in the autumn we do get a lot of mist. The fog is the worst when it rolls in from the sea and up the river. Sometimes you can’t see further than 6 feet away. It can last for 2 or 3 days without lifting and makes everything cold and damp.

I am very thankful that 21 years ago today our boys were born and brought so much love and happiness into our lives.

  3. My GBGV Life says:

We are not rain fans and we usually have plenty, so it is more of a real pain unlike you in CA. We are thankful for all the things we still get to do despite the whole pandemic. Have a wonderful day!

Sandee, being thankful for the weather, whatever it is, creates a blessing in our lives, especially since there is nothing we can do about it.
We are still waiting on Riley’s right eye to show more signs of improvement after his surgery and consequent ulcer in it; I am giving thanks in advance for his eye to be restored to wholeness. I hope anyone who reads this will give thanks with me.

we are in need of rain and i would be thankful if it comes, but I do love sunshine the most.. an fog/rain the least. I love the smell after a good hard rain, and the way the world looks clean and refreshed

For sure I understand the clean air. Currently our city is covered in the evil yellow dust of the devil aka pollen. EVERYTHING is yellow. You can blow off the porch and steps…if you are brave…and are wearing an oxygen tank. But it only is clean for a nano second.
    Hugs Cecilia

Fresh air is wonderful! Right as I was reading your thankful and thinking that, one of the kitties used the litter box and the air wasn’t so fresh anymore – MOL!

I am thankful spring has sprung in our area! Hubby spruced up our balcony with new plants and bird feeders. We sat out there for our happy hour and enjoyed a nice relaxing evening. Happy Thursday!

I’m thankful that Levi appears to enjoy Day Care (he goes one day a week for 5 hours) and he has training there too. They said “Levi is such a HAPPY young student” Made this proud Mama beam!!!

We don’t really have all that good of air here most of the time. We live in a big valley were all the bad stuff settles. When the fires start it’s even worse. 🙂

  11. Patricia says:

The pollen here is awful and I sneeze and cough and will have a runny nose until end of May. I am thankful for the rain every few days that clears the air.

Sandee fresh air is so important. You have a great thankful and rain, that is always good especially here where they claim we are constantly in a drought. I had a time linking in with Brian’s Home today. Silly technology. we think alike. SUnshine was on my list too. HUGS

  13. Invisibly Me says:

Rain really can be very refreshing. Unfortunately we get a lot of it in the UK but I can imagine how cleansing it must be when it’s hot or when there are so many fires. I do like a good rainstorm to clear the air, and it’s lovely that the sunshine has come out for you there too. A good day! 🙂 xx
