It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
I’m thankful that I’m breathing fresh air. We’ve had some rain and rain just cleans the air so nicely. Each summer California burns and the air is so bad. I’ll enjoy it now while it’s so fresh.
I’m thankful for sunshine. Some years ago we would have fog that would last all January and February. It never lifted. I would wait for my days off to head up in the foothills to get above the fog line so I could enjoy the sun. It may have been cold, but the sun recharged my batteries.
What are you thankful for today?

I am also thankful for the fresh air, rain and sun. Thankful that I can take beautiful sky shots and capture all the beautiful moments with my smartphone camera. I could go on and on. Have a blessed week.
There are so many things to be thankful for. You have a blessed week too, Nancy. 🙂
Living in the countryside we have usually good fresh air, but in the autumn we do get a lot of mist. The fog is the worst when it rolls in from the sea and up the river. Sometimes you can’t see further than 6 feet away. It can last for 2 or 3 days without lifting and makes everything cold and damp.
I am very thankful that 21 years ago today our boys were born and brought so much love and happiness into our lives.
I’m so happy your boys gave you such joy. They tend to do that don’t they. 🙂
The air smells so wonderful after a spring rain. I am thankful that Molly is no longer hurting and the swelling is going away.
I’m happy for Miss Molly too. That was a big ouch. 🙂
I’m thankful for the warmer temperatures we’ve had the last few days and the signs of spring showing more and more every day.
A hint of spring is a welcome sight after a long cold winter. 🙂
We are not rain fans and we usually have plenty, so it is more of a real pain unlike you in CA. We are thankful for all the things we still get to do despite the whole pandemic. Have a wonderful day!
I live in a desert so can’t expect much else. We do love the rain when it decides to visit us. 🙂
Sandee, being thankful for the weather, whatever it is, creates a blessing in our lives, especially since there is nothing we can do about it.
We are still waiting on Riley’s right eye to show more signs of improvement after his surgery and consequent ulcer in it; I am giving thanks in advance for his eye to be restored to wholeness. I hope anyone who reads this will give thanks with me.
Prayers continue that the eye will be perfect. 🙂
Thank you!
Wonderful thankfuls, very thankful for all the fresh air in my state. Have a nice day. XO
In the summer here you can see a see of smoky air from all the fires. 🙂
we are in need of rain and i would be thankful if it comes, but I do love sunshine the most.. an fog/rain the least. I love the smell after a good hard rain, and the way the world looks clean and refreshed
Living in Florida you get more sunshine than rain. I get that. 🙂
I can send you some sunshine from India, Sandee! But I know how sun must feel after a long winter.
We are doing okay now, Corinne, but there are times we don’t see the sun for weeks. 🙂
Fresh air after the rain is a huge blessing. Hugs!
It sure is, my friend. I always go outside to enjoy it too. Hugs. 🙂
For sure I understand the clean air. Currently our city is covered in the evil yellow dust of the devil aka pollen. EVERYTHING is yellow. You can blow off the porch and steps…if you are brave…and are wearing an oxygen tank. But it only is clean for a nano second.
Hugs Cecilia
Oh the spring spreading of pollen. Thank goodness I don’t have hay-fever. 🙂
Fresh air is wonderful! Right as I was reading your thankful and thinking that, one of the kitties used the litter box and the air wasn’t so fresh anymore – MOL!
I remember that. It can get pretty back if you don’t stay on top of it. 🙂
I am thankful spring has sprung in our area! Hubby spruced up our balcony with new plants and bird feeders. We sat out there for our happy hour and enjoyed a nice relaxing evening. Happy Thursday!
Oh what a fun thing to do. Spring is such a magical time. 🙂
Great thankfuls! I too am thankful for the sunshine! and I am also thankful for the rain. We have had over 7 days of sun and last night it rained- yay…..this way Mother Nature waters our yards full of sprouting perennials! Have a great day! xoxoxo
Yes nothing like Mother Nature taking care of the watering. You have a great day too. 🙂
Thankful for warming weather
Yes indeed. It makes our walks a lot nicer. 🙂
You wouldn’t say that a month from now here in Arizona
I know. We have some boating neighbors that come to Willow Berm every May and leave back to Arizona in October. 🙂
Those who come in October and leave in April to escape the snow and cold are called snowbirds. Those who you describe are called sunbirds. Why do birds always get the short end of the stick+\
I would never give you the short end of the stick, Kismet. I love you. 🙂
Wonderful thankful! Thanks Sandee! We are thankful for YOU! You rock! Marv sends head butts and whisker kisses.
I’m thankful for you too. Tell Marv I love him and give him a big smooch. 🙂
I’m thankful that Levi appears to enjoy Day Care (he goes one day a week for 5 hours) and he has training there too. They said “Levi is such a HAPPY young student” Made this proud Mama beam!!!
He’s such a good boy. Of course he is. 🙂
These are wonderful things to be thankful for. The sun is shinning with very little wind. That’s a thankful day for me.
A perfect day. It’s usually windy here in April. 🙂
Hooray for fresh air, we all need lots of it fur sure! Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
We don’t really have all that good of air here most of the time. We live in a big valley were all the bad stuff settles. When the fires start it’s even worse. 🙂
We’re thankful for sun puddles and warmth. Winter is cold and yuck and we don’t even live in a cold place. Are you in California? We are too – the Torrance area, south of LA. Are you near us or in the way north or way south parts?
We are in the central part of California. Modesto/Stockton, so we are a long way from you. 🙂
The air after a rain is so invigorating. I like a bit further into summer when you get the scent of worms and life working
And smoke from all the fires here. Every. Summer. Prayers continue for Timmy. 🙂
I am grateful that my 1 hour team meeting only lasted 15 minutes! Those meetings can really be a drag on the day, and now I’ve got extra time.
Oh meetings are such a time waster in my view. My inbox is overflowing and there are big head meetings to attend. 🙂
There’s nothing quite like a cleansing rain to make one smile with gratitude.
I agree with you, my friend. 🙂
We’ve had some very warm days lately. We still could use some of that refreshing rain, though.
Happy Thursday! <3
We’ve had the same, Barbara. More rain would be nice. Happy Thursday. 🙂
The pollen here is awful and I sneeze and cough and will have a runny nose until end of May. I am thankful for the rain every few days that clears the air.
Many have these spring allergies. I’m so happy I don’t. I’ve other issues, but not this one. 🙂
Everybody has something they would rather not have. Seasonal allergies are just a bother.
Thankful for sunshine and daffodils! 🙂 Happy Thursday, Sandee! xo
Spring is such a delight to behold. Happy Thursday, Bette. 🙂
Good weather always helps ~ think everyone feels better then ~ thanks ^_^
Lots of Xox from me and Angel on Cape Ann MA ~ ^_^
Living moment by moment,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
It sure puts a spring in my step, Carol. Love and hugs to you both. 🙂
Sandee fresh air is so important. You have a great thankful and rain, that is always good especially here where they claim we are constantly in a drought. I had a time linking in with Brian’s Home today. Silly technology. we think alike. SUnshine was on my list too. HUGS
We do think alike and that’s a good thing. Linking can be trying at times. I’m glad you got it done. 🙂
Rain really can be very refreshing. Unfortunately we get a lot of it in the UK but I can imagine how cleansing it must be when it’s hot or when there are so many fires. I do like a good rainstorm to clear the air, and it’s lovely that the sunshine has come out for you there too. A good day! 🙂 xx
It’s terrible here int he summer, Caz. Can’t see across the street hardly. Awful. 🙂
In every thing give thanks!
Amen to that, Paul. 🙂
A Ha! I snuck iun your page and posted my second link to brians home! It was an act to get r done! Ha Ha Ha! I think you are my twin. Perhaps just sisters from other parents. Hee Hee Hee! I loved yout hankfuls and always love visiting you. You are so blessed and so very loved.
We are twins and that’s a good thing, Anne. I’m very proud to be your sister. Love you back. 🙂
We have had a lot of grey times and we are thankful for the sunshine too.
Makes me smile when the sun is shining. 🙂
I enjoyed a lengthy visit to a garden center in the cool rain. ~grin~ My plan to not buy new plants failed. Heh… But I brought home lots of mulch. Yay!
Yes that one usually fails. There are so many pretty plants and you just can’t resist. Happy weekend. 🙂
We are thankful that spring is finally here! Luke is getting daily walks in the woods now, and we’re all loving it!
We’re enjoying it too. I’ve removed my socks from the mix and pretty soon the flip flops will be the shoe of the day. Smooches to my buddy Luke. 🙂
I’m glad you have some fresh air to breathe. I can’t imagine so many fires. May you have a blessed Spring and Summer.🤗((Hugs))
Yes California burns all summer long. Many fires and the air is so bad for months. 🙂
