It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

I’m thankful that this year is coming to a close. We did lots of wonderful things this year even though Covid was a huge part of all our lives. It’s been a very good year.
I’m thankful that good weather is right around the corner. We usually start getting warm weather and spring blossoms in February. I’m ready for that good weather and the promise of spring.
I’m thankful that hubby and I have a laundry list of projects to do on our home next year. It’s a wonderful feeling to update/upgrade a place that we consider our castle.

That is a lovely thankful list. I am thankful that we and our love ones are all safe and healthy. Even in the midst of Covid-19, we are thankful that we can celebrate Christmas and usher in the New Year 2021 even though on a simpler and smaller scale. Thankful that there is hope for a better year and we can enjoy and appreciative all the good things in our lives. Have a Blessed Christmas and Happy New Year 2021.
We are happy about that too. You have a blessed Christmas and Happy New Year too, Nancy. 🙂
I sure wish we got spring weather in February. Our wait is much longer than that.
I can hardly wait each year. It’s still cold here and there and it rains, but the blossoms come out and it makes my heart sing. 🙂
I am thankful that my daughter will be coming for Christmas Eve. Yes, of course, we will be in our masks and social distance and staying safe. Merry Christmas Eve!
Enjoy your Christmas eve. I know you will. 🙂
I’m thankful for small cool moments ❤ Merry Christmas ❤
Merry Christmas to you and yours, Kinga. 🙂
Dad and I are thankful for all our blogging buddies, and we’re thankful that we’re typically socially-distant anyway so this past year hasn’t brought many changes for us. Let’s hope 2021 brings better things. Merry Christmas!!
Not many changes for us either. I’m happy about that. Merry Christmas. 🙂
Mom likes to do updates to our house too, but finding someone to do them for us is really hard. All the handy people are way too busy! Merry Christmas Eve to you and your hubby!
We use companies to do this, not handymen. Can’t find them either. Merry Christmas to you and yours. Scritches to the pups. ♥
Having made good memories in difficult times is indeed a big thankful.
Happy Holiday to all of you!
You can make good ones or bad ones. I’m going for the good ones. Happy Holiday to you and yours, Viola. 🙂
today i am thankful I got the shingles shot a few months ago, because I now have the shingles, minus the pain, because I got that shot.. Merry Christmas
We got that super shot too. The two part shots. We’re happy about that. I’ve seen people with shingles and they were in horrible pain. Merry Christmas. 🙂
The Hubby and I are thankful for a roof over our heads, clothes to wear, food to eat, and four wonderful cats whom we love deeply. While the pandemic really hasn’t changed his life much, my world has but I’m thankful that my extended family is doing well. The pet blogging community has been a real helpmeet too; we stay connected!
Wonderful thankful things. We feel the same as you do. Blogging has helped a lot. I agree. Merry Christmas. 🙂
It sounds like you are going to dig a moat around your castle. Don’t forget the drawbridge.
I’ll live a window open and you can fly in anytime you wish, Kismet. 🙂
Those are really nice thankfuls and we’re thankful for wonderful friends like you. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
I’m thankful for wonderful friends like you too. Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. 🙂
We are so thankful for many things. Mainly for good health for the human and the cats. We are thankful for all of our online buddies. We are thankful for a roof over our heads (It is raining) and for you people too. Have a fantastic day.
I’m thankful each time you come here and leave a message, Marg. You’ve been a wonderful friend for many years. 🙂
I am thankful for hubby and all the things he does, a roof over my head, a fire in the fireplace and the WordPress blogging community. Happy Thursday and Merry Christmas eve. 🎇 🎆
Hi! I follow Ann’s blog (and Gibbs) and had to stop over her to say I Loved your snowy scene & house at the end of your comment you left for her today…soooo clever!
HAPPY holidays.
Thank you so much, Anni. I’ve seen you here and there. I’ll come over and visit. 🙂
Thank you, Anni, and it’s good to meet you. Merry Christmas!
Those are wonderful things indeed. Happy Thursday and a Merry Christmas eve to you and yours. 🙂
😊
Yes Sandee we do have so much to be thankful for in spite of the nasty virus…Positivity keeps the mind and body in good form. Guess what Ruby, by Red Camellia has her first bloom. Earlier this week I noticed one bud (way down at the bottom) had a speck of red on it. This morning I noticed it is about 3/4 open. Thankful I got a photo of it (for Nature Friday) because currently it rains steady but harder and more wind this afternoon.
Hugs on Christmas Eve to you and your hubby
Cecilia
I’ve been positive all year long. I don’t want to sink into despair and so many have. Hugs back, my friend. 🙂
Here’s to better days in 2021. We wish you a very Merry Christmas 🕯🎄🎅🏻
I’m with you on that wish. Merry Christmas. Scritches to the pups. 🙂
My list of gratitude would be too long right at the moment. 🙂 Sad to say, though, it’s because I saw a friend with an endless array of complaints and concerns. Glad you’re doing well and looking forward to the future. ~hugs~ Merry Christmas, my dear.
I can’t be around those folks for long. I’m not going to complain about anything. Hugs and a Merry Christmas to you and your hubby. 🙂
Sandee,
Despite Covid, I consider myself blessed. DH has remained employed while working from home. Neither of us have been sick and the few times we’ve gone to doctors for routine visits things have gone well. And, I’m extremely thankful we live in a place where we can get groceries delivered from several retailers and even Walmart. This keeps us out of general population free from worry and possible contamination. I’m looking forward to better days in 2021, though. Have a very Merry Christmas, my friend!
We are as blessed as you and your husband are. Merry Christmas, Cathy. Love and hugs. 🙂
Hi Sista, I’m thankful for a loving family and good friends. It was a rough year this year always something happening with my health and my son was missing. Well, first of all my son has been found. I’ve really decided he needs to see a doctor for his mentality (not sure if that’s the right word), but he needs someone to watch him and be on him all the time. He’ll say he doesn’t, but I truly believe he does. At least he’s alive and well. Praise Jesus. I’m thankful for my loving husband always being there for me. He’s a good man. No restaurant was open for people to come in last night it being our 21st wedding anniversary so we went home and cooked some frozen fish. It was good and we were together. That’s all that matters, right? So, we’re going to make homemade soup today (sort of a tradition in my family), and tonight is midnight mass. Gotta check on that today. So some last minute shopping is in order and I have to boogie on out of here. Blog is still under construction so I’ll let you know when I’m done. I’m so happy for you that things are going so well. Sending big Christmas hugs to you & the hubby & family! I love you my sista… I always will. You’re a good person and I’m so happy I met you. I just hope & pray some day we’ll actually meet. You’re always in my prayers & MERRY CHRISTMAS…. HO HO HO!!! LUV YA! HUGS
I know you had a wonderful anniversary honey even though you had to have dinner at home. You’re right you were together and that’s the best part. I’m happy your son was found okay. That would be scary for sure. You’re always in my prayers too, honey. Merry Christmas to you and yours. Love you bunches. 🙂
Happy Christmas Eve, and wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas! <3
Wishing you and yours the same, Barbara. 🙂

Sandee, I loved your fill-ins, especially the ones about your son!
Thanks so much. Sometimes it’s easy to do the fill-ins and sometimes it’s difficult. This weeks fill-ins were easy. 🙂
