A Cat’s 10 Commandments:
Acknowledge that I am Cat – no other is above Me. Not even you. I am the Lord of thy house.
Thou shall have no other pets before me.
Thou shalt not ever ignore me.
My affection is mine to dole out, it cannot be forced. Don’t try.
The fur I shed is my gift to you, so I am with you wherever you go. It is not my fault when you choose garments that do not match my fur color.
Remember my food dish and keep it full.
I have a mind of my own. Please do not be upset if I like the packaging better than the expensive toy you just bought me, or the bag your brought it home in. Just be grateful I like something.
Thou shalt always have thy lap ready for me to curl up in.
Thou shalt shower me with love and attention upon demand.
Above all, thou shalt do anything and everything it takes to keep me happy.

Oh goodness, those are all so true. Cats do have their own agenda but they are such good company and so entertaining. For instance, at the moment, Two Two is deathly afraid of Split since she has the cone on her neck. Sandee, you and Zane have a fantastic Sunday.

Sandee, being a true cat lover and having had cats all my life, I can vouch for these! LOL! Oh, and this post reminds me of a quotation, one of my favourites that always makes me laugh.
