Silly Sunday is the place to come for weekly laughs. The rules are simple, just have fun.
This is a great opportunity to get to know other bloggers and have a laugh or two in the process. Here is how it works: Laugh and Link Up!
You’re Old When:
Everything hurts and what doesn’t hurt doesn’t work.
The gleam in your eyes is from the sun hitting your bifocals.
You feel like the morning after and you haven’t been anywhere.
Your little black book contains only names that end in M.D.
Your children begin to look middle aged.
You finally reach the top of the ladder and find it leaning against the wrong wall.
Your mind makes contracts your body can’t meet.
You look forward to a dull evening.
Your favorite part of the newspaper is “20 Years Ago Today.”
You turn out the lights for economic rather than romantic reasons.

I guess I'm old because I can relate to quite a few of these 🙂
Have a wonderful day
I can relate to all of these. All of them. 🙂
Oh dear I can relate to a few of these lmao
Have an oldtastic SSS :-h
Well I hate the alternative so relating to these means I'm still on the right side of the dirt. 🙂
I can relate to some of the above but my mind still thinks I am young. Ha ha ha! Have a beautiful day!
My mind says I'm young too and I like that very much. 🙂
Yes, i turn off the lights for economy, but i always have!
Me too, Mimi, me too. 🙂
How about "all of your favorite songs are played on the oldies station" I've noticed a lot of mine there now.
Yes, there is that too. Much of the new stuff I've not heard and that's okay. 🙂
Not only have your favorite songs moved from "Classic Rock" to "Oldies" but the artists are now grand parents…just like you! Ouch!!!
Isn't that the truth, Driller. You can't escape ages. Well you can, but I don't like that alternative. 🙂
When your "get up and go" turns to "get up to go."
I'm doing that and have for a very long time. 🙂
oh my….a lot of truth to these snickerisms….have a lovely day today! Lucy sends her love along with ours!
Give Miss Lucy lots of love too. You and Russell as well. 🙂
Those are great, I guess I am officially old 🙂 Have a wonderful day!
I've been officially old for quite some time and I'm good with that. I'm retired and can do whatever I want whenever I want. 🙂
How funny! I enjoyed these, Sandee! Thank you so much for sharing, and I hope you have been having a glorious weekend! Big hugs. 🙂
It's boiling hot this weekend so we're home. We are having a most wonderful weekend too. 🙂
I relate to way too many of these to be 30. haha
Oh you have some surprises coming then. I'll be 66 in September. 🙂
I'm not saying which ones
That's a good plan. 🙂
11.you check the Obits to see which friends have passes away. 🙁 :-f :-h d-)
There is that. 🙂
LOL…Have a great Sunday!
Thank you for the laugh.
You're welcome. When we get older we find the humor in this type of stuff. 🙂
What were we talking about? I forgot.
That's a post all by itself. 🙂
Wow, the truth hurts almost at much as all the joints that ache. I think mentally most of us get stuck in our 40's while our body continues to age well past the point of being able to do same things physically that we did when we were 40…or even 50. Just sayin'. Have a blessed week and thank you for your continued support of Driller's Place.
I know you're speaking the truth. I was doing very well in my 40s, but now in my 60s I'm not doing so well. Nothing serious just typical age related stuff. My mind is still stuck in my 40s though. Sometimes younger. 🙂
When your grand kids history class covers events that you lived through. Just sayin'. The up side is that you can give them insight not found in those history books.
There is that too. Amazing how that works. I love the insight part though. Spot on. 🙂
Now I have things to look forward to? Darn.
Yes you do. This will catch up with all of us at some point. 🙂
They're all too true.
The older you get the truer they are, too. 🙂
