Sunday is the place to come for weekly laughs. The rules are simple, just have fun.
This is a great opportunity to get to know other bloggers and have a laugh or two in the process. Here is how it works: Laugh and Link Up!
Come Get Me:
A young couple got married and left on their honeymoon. When they got back, the bride immediately called her mother.
Her mother asked, ”How was the honeymoon?”
”Oh, Mom,” she replied, ”the honeymoon was wonderful! So romantic…” Suddenly she burst out crying. ”But, Mom, as soon as we returned Sam started using the most horrible language…things I’d ever heard before! I mean, all these awful 4-letter words! You’ve got to come get me and take me home…. Please Mom!”
”Sarah,” her mother said, ”calm down! Tell me, what could be so awful? What 4-letter words?”
”Please don’t make me tell you, Mom,” wept the daughter, ”I’m so embarrassed, they’re just too awful! Come get me, please!”
”Darling, you must tell me what has you so upset. Tell your mother these horrible 4-letter words!”
Still sobbing, the bride said, ”Oh, Mom, they were words like dust, wash, iron, cook!”

Poor thing, no more honeymoon for the young bride!
Yep, it appears the honeymoon is over. 🙂
I feel so sorry for her LOLOL
Have a springcleantastic SSS :-f
Everything comes to an end at some point. 🙂
For some reason after reading this there was a song that popped in my head. "My mamma told me, you better shop around"
Yes, shopping around is important. 🙂
Heeheehee! She's getting an education, isn't she?
Yes she is and she's not liking the lesson one bit. 🙂
I didn't mean to click in on this one. Those are for sure horrible four letter words. Sandee, you and Zane have a fantastic day.
It's just fine Marg. I left your link. 🙂
I hope that she enjoyed her honeymoon first with the three letter word. SEX! Ha,ha,ha.
Have a great Sunday Sandee & Zane. See ya my friends.
Yes, and there won't be as much of that now that she has all that work to do. 🙂
Goat is a four letter word.
Yes it is. 🙂
12 years later my wife still hasn't learned those words hahah j/k
Well, good for her if she can get away with it. 🙂
Cute. I would have told him he took a wife, not a housekeeper and then ask him how he wants to divide up those four letter words.
Many men won't lift a finger inside the house and some either inside or outside. She should have checked that out before the wedding. 🙂
Sounds like it's time for a upper management meeting to set some policy. 😉
big hugs xoxo
Yep, if mom isn't happy nobody is happy. 🙂
hahahah welcome to the real world! Hilarious! It's never ending- unless you hire a housekeeper! Cheers!
There is the housekeeper part, but we don't know if she works outside the home. 🙂
She should use four letter words on him like work and cash.
I like those two words very much. 🙂
I knew that was coming 😉
xoxoxo Have a great day!
This is a very old joke. Very old. 🙂
And the honeymoon is OVER. lol
Yes, and I think he'll miss it more than she will. 🙂
Oh no! Poor bride! The honeymoon is definitely OVER! That is so funny!!! 😀
Yep, it's over for sure. 🙂
Sounds like the honeymoon is over. 😉
It will do it every time. 🙂
As a man they are words I'm unfamiliar with. I'll have to Google them… 😛
I had one like that once. Had to kick him to the curb. He was the most lazy thing. 🙂
Ha Ha Ha!!!
No really, he was worthless. 🙂
I can't blame her haha.
Me either. I thought this was a cute joke. 🙂
If they are both millennials, then I'm sure he went running home to his mom when his bride used such caustic phrases as "mow the lawn", "wash the car", "change a light bulb". Just sayin'.
You've nailed this one for sure. Right on the money. 🙂
I know those words only too well, and am tired of them! Ha. No room stewards here, nor chefs. Bugger.
Big hugs, honey…
I hear you. Always a tons of work to do. 🙂
I'm blessed. My husband and I share the responsibility of household chores. 🙂
Same here Allison and I wouldn't have it any other way. 🙂
She needs to hire a maid, the poor thing.
I'm not thinking he's going to go for that, but you never know. 🙂
