Silly Sunday is the place to come for weekly laughs. The rules are simple, just have fun.
This is a great opportunity to get to know other bloggers and have a laugh or two in the process. Here is how it works: Laugh and Link Up!
A Police Officer was patrolling late at night off the main highway. At nearly midnight, he sees a couple in a car, in Lovers Lane, with the interior light brightly glowing. He carefully approaches the car to get a closer look.
He sees a young man behind the wheel, reading a computer magazine. He immediately notices a young woman in the rear seat, filing her fingernails. Puzzled by this surprising situation, the Officer walks to the car and gently raps on the driver’s window.
The young man lowers his window. “Uh, yes, Officer?”
The trooper asks: “What are you doing?”
The young man says: “Well, Officer, I’m reading a magazine.”
Pointing towards the young woman in the back seat the Officer says: “And, her, what is she doing?”
The young man shrugs: “Sir, I believe she’s filing her fingernails.” Now, the trooper is totally confused.
A young couple, alone, in a car, at night in Lover’s Lane and nothing obscene is happening!
The trooper asks: “What’s your age, young man?”
The young man says: “I’m 22, sir.”
The trooper asks: “And her, what’s her age?”
The young man looks at his watch and replies: “She’ll be 18 in 11 minutes.”

Well it looks like the officer came too soon 🙂
I'm not going to touch your comment, Ann. Just saying. 🙂

No jail-bait for him. 🙂
Smart boy. Sandee, you and Zane have a wonderful and great day.
There are a lot of smart ones out there, Marg. You have a wonderful day too. 🙂
Heeheehee! Although maybe they'd best move along now. Have a blessed and beautiful Sunday!
I'm thinking it should be more special than in the backseat of a car. Just saying. 🙂
As they cheer in sporting events that are timed and your team is ahead, "Go clock go,go clock go".
There is that. 🙂
In life, timing is everything.
Yes it is, Timothy. 🙂
That is too funny 🙂 I was wondering where this was going.
I didn't seem it coming either until the officer wanted to know how old he was. 🙂
Wait until dark.
Have a great day!
Wait until she's 18 too. 🙂
did not see that coming.
People that put together jokes amaze me. 🙂

Very cautious too. Both good qualities. 🙂
I salute the one who came up with this joke and these are really smart kids and they know the laws! Ha ha!
Especially the young man. He's the one that would end up in jail. 🙂
Timing is everything 🙂
Yes, timing is everything. 🙂
Haha! Oh my gosh 🙂 Um, I would kill my kids though!!!!
Yes, we do tend to protect our own. 🙂
So did the officer wait around?
I'm guessing he didn't. I hope not anyway. 🙂
Hi Sandee, now that is funny. What if his watch was fast?
I'm guessing he'd be in trouble. I'm not sure. 🙂
