Tech support: What kind of computer do you have?
Customer: A white one.
Tech support: Click on the ‘my computer’ icon on to the left of the screen.
Customer: Your left or my left?
Customer: Hi, good afternoon, this is Martha, I can’t print. Every time I try, it says ‘can’t find printer’. I’ve even lifted the printer and placed it in front of the monitor, but the computer still says he can’t find it..
Customer: My keyboard is not working anymore.
Tech support: Are you sure it’s plugged into the computer?
Customer: No. I can’t get behind the computer.
Tech support: Pick up your keyboard and walk 10 paces back.
Tech support: Did the keyboard come with you?
Tech support: That means the keyboard is not plugged in.
Customer: I can’t get on the Internet.
Tech support: Are you sure you used the right password?
Customer: Yes, I’m sure. I saw my colleague do it.
Tech support: Can you tell me what the password was?
Customer: Five dots.
Tech support: What anti-virus program do you use?
Tech support: That’s not an anti-virus program.
Customer: Oh, sorry… Internet Explorer..

LMAO I help quite a few people remotely with their PC probs and sometimes it is a bit like that LOL
Have a supporttastic Thursday Sandee :-h
It's more than amazing isn't it. 🙂
Hahahaha! I go through this every day… with Al. Bless his heart.
Have yourself a fabulous day! xoxo
I feel your pain honey. 🙂
Oh my COD, those are so funny.I laughed out loud for sure. Sandee, you and Zane and Little Bit have a great day.
They are funny indeed. 🙂
I have to say that when I started with the computer I called the Tech Support and I probably did something silly like that. I was a ditz when I started but now at least I can talk to him. Ha,ha,ha.
Have a wonderful Thursday Sandee. See ya.
I know I did some weird things in the beginning too. 🙂
Those are cute. I'm not sure if I've ever seen computer jokes before.
There are lots of them out there, but a friend sent me these and I laughed out loud. 🙂
Bless their hearts, but at least they are trying…very trying! Thanks for the smiles.
Big hugs, honey…
I Iove your play on words. 🙂
How about the person told to press any key claiming he could not find an "any" key.
Well, there is that. It's like calling nine eleven and folks can't find the eleven. 🙂
Tech support: I want you to get a box, put the computer in it, an mail it back to the manufacturer, because you're to stinking stupid to own a computer! 🙂 I've had days when I should have mailed it back.
Bwahahahahahah, me too. Me too. 🙂
Oh if you only knew how true some of this crap really is!!! Being in IT is fun and frustrating at the same time.
When it's fun it's fun and then when it's not one should write a book. I'm just saying. 🙂
And welcome to the world of my husband! This is what he does all day and you would be incredibly amazed that this behavior goes on at every age!
I know it does, but this bunch was for the seniors. 🙂
funny, may be generation gap.
Have a great day!
Could be just that. 🙂
It's not so funny if you do it daily for a living. I don't do it anymore so it is funny.
I hear you. I've known IT folks that can tell some pretty frustrating stories. 🙂
Bless their patience with the computer illiterate such as myself. I make it a point to always be polite with any customer service rep I come across. Same with cashiers, servers, you name it. In my family, we were raised better than some of the rear-ends my girls have to deal with everyday.
I can get by and that's about it. Nothing much in my bag of tricks. 🙂
oh lordy! Hopefully I never get that bad! Have a lovely day with Zane and LB!
You won't honey, you won't. 🙂
Well, what do you expect? If they knew what they were doing, they wouldn't be calling for help, would they now?
This is true and I know I've asked some pretty stupid questions in my early days. 🙂
these sound so much like my husband that it is scary lol
My hubby is way, way more computer literate than I am. 🙂
I have a couple friends like that. c-)
I do too. I've one that don't even know how to turn a computer on. 🙂
thankfully I never have to call tech support with computer problems. Wade can usually figure everything out himself.
You're a lucky gal. We have a computer guy for the big stuff. The little stuff we usually can handle. 🙂
Don't you just love tech support especially when they try to speak English!
You can ask for someone that speaks English well. They will transfer you. 🙂
hahahahahahahaha!!!! laughing out loud here…"can't find the printer"!!! hahaha 🙂 Thanks for this Sandee 🙂
Bless their hearts. 🙂
Although my knowledge in technology may be little, thankfully I am not that bad. Absolutely hilarious!!! Thanks so much for the laughs, Sandee! 😀
You're most welcome Linda. 🙂
they are still out there..lol
Yes, they are still out there Phil. Great to see a comment from you. 🙂
I liked the keyboard one. The tech guy has probably had to ask that one before.
I'm sure you're right Binky. These folks work mighty hard don't they. 🙂
I can actually imagine just about everyone of those really happening. So funny.
These and more Rhonda. 🙂
