Sad News

I received this email from Ian this afternoon:

Evening Sandee. My name is Ian and I’m best friends with Steve from bethere2day. I’ve tried posting a message on his blog, but for some reason it won’t let me. I hate to be the bearer of sad news but Steve sadly passed away last week. I know you and he spoke via your blogs each day, but would appreciate it if you could let the regulars who knew Steve know of this sad news.
Many Thanks

This is heartbreaking.  Steve has been a wonderful blogging buddy for years and years.  I loved him, his humor and his kindness.  Rest in Peace Steve, you’ll be missed.

I am so sad to hear this, Sandee. He was such a lovely and humorous man. Although I didn’t know him personally I thought of him as a good friend, as we do with our blogging friends. I send my condolences to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

Ahhh, how very sad! 😢 Steve use to boogie with the 4M gang in the early years and over the years I popped in on him on occasion. I’m sorry to read this news. My prayers to his family and closest friends. Thanks for letting us know or otherwise, we’d be in the dark. It’s important I think to know what happens to those we cross paths with in cyberspace.

Oh no. I actually tried to check in with him this week -the comments were off so I sent a message on Twitter. This is terrible news. I’m so sorry to all his family and friends in real life for their loss, but I’m also sorry for all of us, who knew him virtually as he was such a cheery person, swinging past our blogs with puns to make us smile. I’m so sorry it was so drawn out for him too.

May he rest in peace! What a sad news. I hoped a better situation, but life has other rules.
I’ll missed him! Thank you for telling us. Each time I checked for a sign…
Condolence for the family and friends!
