A wife was curious when she found an old negative in a drawer and had it made into a print. She was pleasantly surprised to see that they were of her at a much younger, slimmer time, taken many years ago on one of her first dates with her husband.
When she showed him the photo, his face lit up.
“Wow, look at that!”, he said with appreciation, “That’s my old Ford!”

Hi Sandee, it is so very true that men and women see things so differently! When men & women come together, they will get a complete picture! Lol!
I think you're spot on about this. We do compliment each other. 🙂
Ain't it the truth? LOL You made me laugh. 🙂
We're different and that's a good thing. 🙂
LOL – I didn't even notice the car 🙂
Well, most of us women don't notice the car. We're busy looking at how thin we were. 🙂
That just is so true.Silly men. Sandee you and Zane have a fantastic day.
Well, we are different and that's not necessarily bad. 🙂
Haha! Not surprising at all. 🙂
No, depending on the car most guys would notice the car first. They love their cars. 🙂
The other day my wife found an old photo of her in an yellow & orange bikini and wow, she was beautiful then and she is beautiful now even if my Camero was in the photo which it isn't. ha,ha,ha.
Have a beautiful Tuesday Sandee & Zane. See ya.
Cruisin Paul
PS: 3 days to go.
I know you love your wife, and you love your car too. Yes three days to go and it's cruise time. 🙂
LOL typical how funny 🙂
Have a fordtastic day :-f
And it's all good Steve. 🙂
People joke about these things and they can be quite funny theoretically. My husband isn't like that which might explain why we've been married for 33 years.
My husband isn't like that either. I'm happy about it too. 🙂
That's what my husband would have noticed first in that photo! LOL
I get it when it's a favorite car. Wouldn't bother me one bit. 🙂
my sweetie is very sentimental about his many many old cars-but I do have to say he's more sentimental about me! That said- this is really funny and made me laugh out loud! Cheers and hugs!
You and I both have good husbands. I like that. 🙂
It looks like a 1951 vintage Ford.
Vintage is right. I was born in 1951. 🙂
I meant it as the original meaning of vintage which doesn't imply a lot of age, just the year it was born.
I took no offense. I'm vintage and I'm okay with that. I'm like fine wine. 🙂
I didn't even notice the car! Men!
Hope you have a wonderful Tortie Tuesday!
Yep, I didn't either until the punchline. 🙂
Ugh. ROTFL! So much for that. 🙂
Well, they love their old cars. Bless their hearts. 🙂
You betcha! Happy Tuesday!
Happy Tuesday to you too Jean(ie). 🙂
Haaa!! So true and I love it! catchatwithcarenandcody
Yep, if it's a car they loved they will notice that first every time. 🙂
well I think I would rather have him notice the car than the fact that I wasn't quite so slim any more. 🙂
Well, you have a point here Ann. Hadn't thought of it that way. 🙂
Laughing, I hate to say it, but men make life interesting as well as hilarious. I'm afraid we're stuck with them…This is a great photo and post. Thanks for sharing.
"Big Hugs"
Annie
I'm not complaining about men at all. It's all good. Big hugs back. 🙂
Heeheehee! Yep, very differently! It's a good thing, between us, we see the whole picture. At least, i hope so.
I hope so too. It should be a whole picture indeed. 🙂
Yep. That definitely sums up the way men and women think!
It sure does. Men and their toys are a real soft spot for most. 🙂
LOL! That's totally true!
Yet we love our men so. 🙂
Good one!
I thought it was funny too. 🙂
My hubby would have noticed the car, too. But he would still at the babe in his arms.
Big hugs from wet WPB, honey…
I know your hubby would notice that car, but he loves you big time. 🙂
And I bet he wished he still had her. The Ford, I mean.
I'm guessing you're right Binky. 🙂
I like the Ford. Of course I don't know the kids but I do know the car. I sold my black '50 Ford like this one last August when we moved to Katy, Texas.
:-h
I know you love the old cars. What's not to love. 🙂
Good to see that he remembers that car. What a charmer he is
Well, you love your motorcycle, but I think you love your wife more. 🙂
Fantastic Ford. I think my father-in-law had one like that!
There were a lot of them around back in the day. 🙂
LOL, I didn't notice the cars either. But that is the first thing my Hubby would see too.
