Oh I so remember those teen years.
I do too. Awful. Funny now, but awful then. 🙂
Mom always tells us she regrets a lot of her teenage times when she was a real brat and not very nice to her parents.
I was a handful too. We made amends though. 🙂
Those are really funny!
They are now, but not at the time. 🙂
when my two sons, 2 years apart, hit the age of 15, I wanted to give them BACK
I hear you. I felt the same. 🙂
Good ones and so true. Happy Tuesday!
So very true. I got to laugh at my son when he was raising his girls. I laughed a lot. Happy Tuesday. 🙂
💖
Surviving your child’s teenage years is a major milestone of life ~ great sayings, Sandee ~
Lots of hugs and love from me and Ziggy,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
It sure is. Love and hugs to you and Ziggy. 🙂
haha These are really funny! Wishing you a terrific Tuesday <3
Happy Tuesday to you too, Barbara. 🙂
Seeing your kids have kids of their own? Revenge is sweet. But I was a good egg.
You were a good egg. Yes sweet revenge indeed. I love you, Kismet. 🙂
Those were funny. Another one I like is raising teenagers is like nailing jello to a wall. 🙂 Thanks for hosting. Have a great day. XO
That’s so true. It’s like herding cats too. You have a great day. xo 🙂
Phyllis Diller was hilarious; always loved watching her routine.
She was very hilarious. I loved her. 🙂
My pet rock observed that in the pre-cell phone days, a house with one land lline and more than one teen was a house held “incommunicrowdo”. Smart rock.
Seymour is very smart at times. Then at other times… 🙂
I remember the teenage years well not only for our children bt for myself as well. I am so sorry for all the grief I gave my poor mom! But she had a heavy hand so I tried to be a good kid! My older sister…I think she loved getting smacked for her sassy mouth and antics! Thank you my friend for this, have a great Tuesday!
My mom was great. It was my dad that was a tyrant. Happy Tuesday. 🙂
Ah…what a turbulent time that was for parents! Kinda like a cat having a bath and running through the house screaming ! Meowwwwwwwwww!
The perfect depiction. Happy Tuesday, my friend. 🙂
Story goes when I was 5 I decided I was going to runaway I packed my suitcase with all doll clothes
in a huff I was walking about 3 houses down to my Grandmother’s home.
Hugs Cecilia
You made me laugh out loud. What a great way to run away. With doll clothes too. 🙂
All so true!
Yes indeed. They are true. Happy Tuesday, Miss Molly. 🙂
The quotes made me laugh. I think about my daughter who is now a mommy and the real difficulties in store for her when her little girl becomes a teenager. That’s the game changer. Thanks for the giggles!
What goes around, come around. It was fun to watch my son raising two girls. Hugs. 🙂
Thank you my happy friend and Aloha
You’re welcome, my friend. Aloha. 🙂
LOL…Good ones today, Sandee! Thanks for the giggles.
Raising teenagers is a huge challenge. Happy Tuesday. 🙂
It’s fun to look back at those times, now they’re grown and on their own. Happy Tuesday, hugs!
Now it’s funny. It wasn’t when I was going through it. It was funny when he was going through it with his daughters. Love and Hugs. 🙂
There’s a lot of truth in that last one! Ha! I went to a talk and the policewoman made a throwaway line “Ah teenagers. Reknowned for their common sense and good choices”. I always think of that when someone does something you can’t beleive they’d do….Happy Tuesday to you!
Wonderful thing to remember. You made me smile. 🙂
Ha! These are great. The “calling 30 times” really speaks to me at the moment. Happy Tuesday!
Yes, I so remember that. Happy Tuesday. 🙂
Haha. There’s a lot of truth in those funnies!
They are funny after they grow up and leave home. 🙂
MOL…that mirroring goes on and on, to the grandkids too…MOL…Double Pawkisses for a Happy Day dear Sandee🐾😽💞
You’re right on this. It never ends. 🙂
All of these are true. I had high school students engaged in a conversation about mom ‘pinging’ their phone when they don’t answer. So many kids were all bent out of shape that their parents tried to get in touch with them several times in a row if they didn’t answer. I asked them who was paying their phone bill? lolol So grown, but still so not grown. 😉 Have a happy day.
Yes, but they won’t realize how stupid they were until they are older. It’s a good thing. 🙂
Love the truth in these memes. Very cool.
Anyone that’s raised kids know this is true. 🙂
I know this is going to sound a bit medan, but I had to nod in the affirmative with Doug Larson’s observation. LOL
Yep. It’s amazing how it goes. Happy rest of the week. 🙂
I loved the “calls” one almost as much as I loved the “run away” one. Unfortunately, neither of my boys ever threatened that, LOL!
My son never ran away from home. It took me forever to get him out of the house. He told me when he was little that he was going to live with me forever. 🙂
That’s what it’s like in the South.
Yes, on the teenager calls. Or I must respond to their texts instantly!
Nothing changes. Kids are kids. 🙂
LOL…These are great!💕
I never raised children and some of these are reasons I’m glad. lol Best wishes and hugs, my dear.
It’s most trying. Most trying. 🙂
