Oh, look at that itty bitty kitty: add a snaggle toof and that could have been our Zoey when she was a kitten baby!
I thought they looked a lot alike. I’m glad I was right about that. Have a fabulous day and weekend, Ann. 🙂
On New Years Eve I will be asleep long before the ball drops.
Your guide word for the new year is a good one.
That cutie hinting it’s dinnertime heheh!
I am sure you will enjoy your meatloaf 😉
Have a fill-intastic FFS ➡
We will enjoy the meatloaf. We’re country folk, so meatloaf was something we ate as kids. 🙂
We also like meatloaf, but I’m thinking we’ll have pancakes for our main meal. ((Hugs))
We all have our favorite foods. We changed ours up a bit this year and this is the first time we’ve done a big dinner for New Years day. 🙂
Such a cute kitty all ready for the New Year. Just needs a horn to toot. Sandee, you and Zane have a really good day.
I’ll get that little one a horn to toot. You have a fabulous day and weekend too, Marg. 🙂
We are not big on New Years. Mom will go to bed early as always, no parties or anything around here. Enjoy your meatloaf!
No parties here either. We’ll go to bed our usual time. It’s all good. We’ll enjoy the meatloaf. 🙂
Such a cute kitty! On New Year’s Eve we alternate between friends having a celebration with champagne and a buffet meal. This year it is our turn to host it. New Year’s Day we always have leg of lamb.
It’s good to have your traditions. It’s also fun. Enjoy hosting your New Years Eve event. 🙂
Meatloaf sounds perfect for New Years!!
It’s awfully cold here and meatloaf is comfort food to us. So are the potatoes and gravy. 🙂
Cat do streamers 😉
Yes indeed, Skunk. My best to Seymour and Element. 🙂
I’ve never seen a kitty that was better prepared to greet the new year 😉
Yes, this kitty is prepared to ring in the new year. 🙂
Such a sweet cute kitty looking forward to the New Year! Usually it will be a quiet eve, nothing special. We may not be able to sleep early because of the noise of the fireworks.
We have a pretty quiet neighborhood. Some save some 4th of July fireworks, but tend to sleep through that noise. 🙂
Meatloaf sounds really good! I’m in. I will bring a side salad and some Martinelli’s!
Sound great. See you around 2pm on New Years day. 🙂
Sandee,
Kindess is a good guide word for 2019. I hope you and your hubby have a lovely time saying goodbye to the old and hello to the new year. Thank you for being such a sweet and wonderful friend this year. I shall look forward to our continue friendship’s growth in the coming new year! God bless! XO
Yes, we always welcome the new year. I too am looking forward to our continued friendship. I just love you and Marie. God Bless you and yours. 🙂
That is an adorable kitten. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, I always enjoy your answers. I like your guide word, that is one we should all use. And I agree with #4, new beginnings are part of life. I hope you enjoy your meatloaf dinner, it sounds good. Wishing you a happy and healthy 2019! XO
I so enjoy your Friendly Fill-ins. I know we’ll enjoy our meatloaf. This recipe has a Mexican flair and hubby and I love that spicy touch. I wish you and your a happy and healthy 2019. 🙂
Nice fill-ins! And pretty kitty. Thank you for sharing.
You’re most welcome, Darla. Have a great day and weekend, my friend. 🙂
I love your fill ins and oh I forgot to ask what time will the meatloaf be ready? LOL
Hugs Cecilia
PS I added a link to my post about Swish Program aka Fluoride Varnish. Seems no one had heard of it. LOL

Thanks for the link. I think anything that will cut down on cavities is a good thing.
Be here at 2pm on New Years day. Don’t bring anything as there is plenty to go around. 🙂
Great choice of guide word for 2019. Kindness makes the world go round.
Kindness can indeed make the world go round. We need more kindness. 🙂
Adorable kitten already to bring in the new year! Yes, kindness is a perfect word for 2019. Happy Friday!
I’m going to work very hard making kindness my word for 2019. Happy Friday to you too, Eugenia. 🙂
Such a green-eyed beauty! Happy last Friday of the year.
Happy last Friday of 2018 too, my friend. 🙂
I know the meatloaf will be super yummy!
I’ll let you know in my Thankful Thursday post if I can remember. Happy weekend. 🙂
That picture warms my heart! Those are excellent plans for the new year! 😀 <3
It warmed my heart too. It’s not every day you see a new years kitty. We are loving our plans for new years day too. 🙂
What a precious kitty! Mmmm, meatloaf! I love meatloaf but J, not so much, so since he cooks we rarely have it. I think we’re having homemade pizza for NYE but that could change. Hope you have a wonderful final weekend of 2018!
Both hubby and I are country kind of folks. We were raised on meatloaf and fried chicken. Lots of potatoes and gravy. Scritches to Lexi, Angel and Isabella. My best to you and J. 🙂
We luvs nummer 4. Mine’s name, Raena, means new beginnings. And I’s do luvs hugs and cuddles. I’s all ’bout the embracin’. MOL Big hugs
Luvs ya’
Raena and Dezi
New beginnings is a good thing. Luvs ya’ back Raena and Dezi. 🙂
I think kitty is waiting patiently for New Year to cause a little mischief!
Kindness should definitely be the word for 2019.
Have a lovely weekend 🙂
Caz xx
Kitties and mischief just go together. You have a lovely weekend too, Caz. 🙂
Someone is all ready to celebrate, and i’m guessing you are too. Hope you and Mr. Zane have the best weekend possible!
We don’t really celebrate anymore. We just do a good dinner and that’s it. Never go out either. Staying home works for us. 🙂
Waiting for some New Year catnip.
They are always waiting for catnip, but more so on holidays. 🙂
Wonderful kitty photo. Looks like a Happy New Year! <3
This kitty looks like it knows how to party! Enjoy your meatloaf dinner, and have fun on New Year’s Eve!
Thanks, my friend. We’ll enjoy our quiet new years dinner. 🙂
yet another beautiful kitty photo ~ love it! New Year list sounds great ~ Xox from Carol and Ms. Z ~ ^_^
Happy New Year to you,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
I love kitties and pups. I’d have a houseful if I could. Happy New Year to you both. 🙂
I agree with you about “kindness” and love your reasoning about new beginnings. New Years Eve will find my husband, myself and my oldest step daughter babysitting for my granddaughter so that her parents can have a MUCH DESERVED night out! Their first night out alone since Harper was born! xoxoxo
I would do the same thing so the kids can have a night out. Good for you. Of course you both can dote over Harper whiles they are having their night out. 🙂
What a pretty kitty all ready for 2019!!!
Kindness can make so many things better.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Yes kindness is going to be front and center for me from now on. Happy almost 2019. Scritches to the pups. 🙂
Great answers and photo feline Friday and Friendly Fill – Ins. Link is in.
Thanks for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop, Crystal and Daisy Mae. I’ve missed you. 🙂
Don’t forget the collard greens on New Year’s Day. We must have collards (or any other kind of green like spinach, turnip, mustard greens, cabbage, etc.) black eyed peas, cornbread, and ham on New Year’s Day to make it a successful New Year.
Have a blessed and safe New Year.
We’ve never done this for a successful new year. I guess being born and raised in Oregon it wasn’t part of the culture. I love all those things though. You have a blessed and safe New Year too. 🙂
Oooh I love fluffy white kitties. So beautiful. 🙂
Meatloaf is great. We haven’t had it in ages.
May the fun continue and even more fun find its way to you.
Have a blessed weekend and a very happy New Year!
We do enjoy our lives. It’s a good thing. We’re growing old together and it’s a precious thing. You both have a blessed weekend and a very happy New Year. 🙂
That is wonderful and I agree. It IS a most precious thing. We, too, are blessed to be growing old together. 🙂
Have a blessed day and a very happy New Year! 🙂
That kitty looks all set for that ball to drop. Happy New Year, Sandee!
Yes, this kitty is ready for the new year. 🙂
So cute..
I agree and thank you. 🙂
Hope you are enjoying your boat again today, Sunday, my spirit is floating with you ~ ^^
Xox from me and Ms. Z ^^
We’ve had a lovely weekend. We visited friends last night and had some snacks together and then went out to dinner. It was most enjoyable. Happy day to you and Ms. Zoe. 🙂
1 – On New Year’s Eve, I plan to stay up until midnight.
2 – A goal that I have for 2019 is to determine if I want to stay at my job which I love, or try to move on to one that pays better, because I love to travel and my salary does not permit much of that…
3 – If I had to choose a guide word for 2019, it would be stability. We became stable again in 2017 /18 and I would like that to continue. It is not something I will ever again take for granted.
4 – New beginnings can be the best gifts of all.
Happy New Year to you!
Thanks for answering the questions again. I always enjoy you weighing in. I hear you about a better paying job. If you can’t do what you want to do then you have to consider a move.
Have a fabulous day. 🙂
sorry for not stopping by sooner, friday evening was no fun, fell off my stepladder and I broke my left wrist, and spent the night in the hospital.
I saw that on Facebook, Mike. I’m so sorry. Take care of yourself. 🙂
Kindness is so important. We sometimes think there are humans who are kinder to felines and other four-legged creatures than they are to other humans. We wish you joy, happiness and much kindness in 2019.
Purrs & Head Bonks,
The Tribe of Five and The Female Human
Kindness is my word for 2019. I’m going to think of this word every time something starts getting to me. Being more kind is a good thing. 🙂
That silver white kitten reminds me of my sweet pals, Truffle and Brûlée. They have the same color of furrs and eyes. Purr purr purr.
I’m glad I reminded you of sweetness. 🙂
Aw, that New Year kitty is too cute! And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! You are so right about new beginnings. They can sound like scary things, but we can’t avoid them and should instead, like you said, embrace them. Wishing you a happy and healthy 2019!
