  1. Aww! that cat seems quite intelligent heheh!

I liked your fill-ins Sandee perfect theme song 🙂

    Have a a driptastic FFS ➡

    • I like it best when it’s no more than 85°. Hotter than that it starts getting uncomfortable. 🙂

    • I don’t get out as much as when I was younger. The heat gets to me now so I tend to stay indoors when it’s very hot. 🙂

  2. “So, that’s where water comes from! Who knew?”

When it’s hot outside, I stay close to the AC.
I am looking forward to, and hoping for, cooler temperatures later this month.
The theme song of my life would be “Love Lifted Me”.
There is no such thing as “One size fits all.”

    • I can relate to your answers and especially the last one. I don’t go for the one size fits all either. 🙂

  3. This is mine for sure. When I go in the bathroom she jumps on the counter and cries until I turn on the faucet so it will drip. Or in the tub, she sets on the edge of our shower so she can bat at the water while we are taking a shower. Daddy always tells her your gonna fall in here and she just keeps reaching as far as she can she don’t care. Then she when were done she gets out with us and takes her own bath, LOL!
Have a wonderful and safe weekend Sandee & Zane,
BUNCHES of love and GIANT hugs ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

    • You have a most entertaining kitty. You have a wonderful and safe weekend too, Jody. Bunches of love and giant hugs back. 🙂

  5. That is a cute chubby kitty. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I had the same for #1. I like your theme song and I agree with #4 too. Have a nice weekend! XO

    • You and I are mostly on the same page with most things. And always about cats. 🙂

Aww…poor kitty. I almost want to reach through the computer and help him.
One drop at a time…it’s tugging at my heart 🙂

    • They do this so very well. Some cats drink this way. A bit different, but if it works then all is well with the world. 🙂

  7. MNL – My primary blogs are cactushaiku.com (poetry) and cactuscatz.com (my calico Pinkie, my cat art & photography, Midnight has passed so only past posts with Midnight). Hope to see you soon.

This photo cracked me up. It’s like he’s saying … “You fixed the tap?!!! Why?!!!!”

    • Thanks on three and four and I think most of us are in agreement with #1. You be well too and have a great weekend. 🙂

I wish we had a faucet like this when our furbabies were alive.

  10. Service Cats U.S. – I Audra, am the human behind Service Cats U.S. aka DezizWorld. I am disabled and use cats as service animals instead of dogs. They are just as capable and can perform duties other animals cannot. We started our online journey to bring awareness to the ability of cats and to help others understand the relationship between a service animal and their handler/person. We offer training tips and tricks that I have learned through the years along with other information on all things feline. We began this journey in 2014 with Lexi and Dezi. They have since gone on to heaven, but our journey continues. This blog is about our daily life from the kitty's point of view. I want this blog to be interactive and get to know all of you, so comment and visit often. I will also offer advice, training tips and education when possible. • Yes the air conditioning is wonderful and being too kind is impossible. Have a purrfect weekend. My best to your mom. 🙂

  11. What a cute little kitty getting a drink from the faucet! We had one that loved to do that, and even loved splashing the water in her bowl, too. … Happy weekend! 🙂

    • All kitties have their own way of doing things. We are good with that. 🙂

  12. We love your #4 and couldn’t agree more. We love all the kind humans who give shelter kitties furever homes, that is very, very kind!

    • Oh evil are they? You aren’t good enough for dad? Been there and done that. 🙂

  14. Angel loves drinking from a faucet! It’s cold and fresh! Love your answers too. Gonna be hot here next week so the A/C will be on!

How scary you found a bottle rocket at your house! Oh how I hate those things! People just don’t get it. Ugh. Anyway, hope you have a wonderful weekend!

    • I love your kitties.

Hubby found three more bottle rockets in our back yard. No good. 🙂

I agree with your #4 completely. 🙂 When it is very hot, staying home in the AC would be my choice, too. The AC in our car is not working and it is miserable going anywhere these days.

    Have a blessed weekend!

Great fill ins. Do you know that we have never had air conditioning in our houses? It’s never warm long enough to be effective.

    Jean

    • I grew up on the coast of Oregon. We didn’t have air conditioning either. 🙂

  18. curioussteph – Louisville, CO – June 2017: I started writing Curioussteph.com with this: By day, I'm a retired family physician turned body-oriented psychotherapist. I garden, travel, am owned by 2 elderly cats, figure skate and am training for my first triathlon. April 2020: Three years later, the two elderly cats have crossed the rainbow bridge, and we now have an 11 year old adoptee, Ziggy. I'm done with triathlon and skating for the time being, and I am still physically active, running, biking and walking. It's now the time of the coronavirus, which is affecting us all. July 2024: Four years later: I haven't been writing much, and change has continued. My partner of 36 years, BA has a number of health issues, primarily white matter disease, which has affected cognitive function and mobility. She has good days and bad, and so more of my time is spent managing our household and attending to her needs. My imagined retirement of spending half the year traveling isn't happening at the moment. Lots of adjustment and accommodation. Hoping to write more about retirement, and all the changes. We shall see.
